I got PPR almost 2 weeks ago!
Thanks to the wealth of knowledge here.
A family friend first told me about the express entry program in late 2019, but I didn't do anything.

In 2020, I decided to begin. I thoroughly read the threads from part 7 or so like a Bible through out the lock down, including landing and PPR gists. I read all, plus the living in Canada threads.

My time line

WES application payment: May 1, 2020

Transcript sent to WES after months of stress: August, 2020

IELTS result received: Dec 4, 2020

Entered the pool: Dec 08, 2020

ITA: Dec 09, 2020

AOR: March 06, 2021- I told everyone that I’ll get PPR within 6 months (Haq haq haq)

Many calls and web forms later

ADR for Remedicals and proof of income from all my employers: Feb 26, 2022

ADR submission: March 8, 2022

Remeds done (prebooked before receiving IRCC's request): March 10, 2022

ADR changed from "uploaded" to "we are reviewing the documents you provided", and I received email acknowledgement of receipt from IRCC: March 12, 2022

Remeds passed: March 16, 2022

Compassionate mail: April 11th, 2022

I called and was told Eligibility status was “Review required:” April 20, 2022 (I freaked out)

Compassionate mail: April 21, 2022

Caught a ghost update (ADR status became not applicable): April 22, 2022

Called again and all parameters passed: April 25, 2022

Visa offices: CIO/Ottawa, found out in Jan this year that my file had been moved to RROC/ACCRA, then to CPC OTTAWA, and back to RROC/ACCRA.

FSW

PPR: April 27, 2022, 12:57

Thank you @GraciousWords for helping me review my work reference letter (you may not remember)
The journey is anxiety-filled but worth it. Don't give up.

days/a week/ a month...Once hospital uploads, it's now left to your VO to pass it. The swiftness of this depends on the persons workload and other factors.
Hi @Dimple10
I remember we got you from the passport thread, we got our passports around the same time in 2020 cheesy

How is it going?!

Hello,
I'm not sure about IOM, I never contacted them.
Although, it has always been a little higher than Qlife's.

35k for qlife. But no available space till next year

So this means they may have increased their prices.
I booked for 16th of January and attached is the price breakdown that they sent to me.

If it is Unilag, I did foundation program and I got 2 or more. The same time I heard it is not a fixed result.

Thanks for the response.
Hers wasn't with Unilag. It was this Cambridge A level program organised by a school in Ogun state. She then used it to get direct entry to Uni.
I will just allow her decide on what to do.

Hello all,

My sister got into her Bsc program via direct entry (Cambridge A-levels). We were wondering if this could be evaluated as two or more certificates. Has anyone been in this situation?

All we saw when researching was that people used foundation diploma and the likes.

We want to know before she embarks on acca.
Thanks

My seniors, please I'll appreciate your input on this.

I have two more NOCs to bring to you for vetting grin

Mmamaroon:

A) Number the NOC duties from 1 to wherever it stops
B) put the appropriate number from A) above beside each of your work experience letter JD duties.

This way you and anyone helping should be able to see if most of the duties have been covered....or not.

Ma please how’s it going to be... I’m nervous about my forthcoming exam, what do you think will help me alot apart from studying hard

Hi, I'm not sure what to advise as I'm a novice myself. Seniors may assist too.
All I can say is that feeling nervous is okay but try not to let it overwhelm you.
Learn the techniques of the exam. Trust that all you have practised is good enough. You can do it.
One more thing, there are so many good learning resources out there, try to stick to at most three so as not to be overwhelmed.
Keep practicing. I wish you all the best.

I wrote the IELTS exam yesterday shocked
Mehn! It was tough. Sadly I got distracted in the listening and missed some questions. I'm so angry with myself.
As for the writing, it was a race against time. I didn't have time to correct errors. I could see them but we had already been asked to drop our pencils.
I think I did well in the reading aspect while the speaking was just okay.
I wrote with MOD/IDP.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hope that I scale through.

esosa4real:

I can imagine.
For listening, keep fingers crossed, bearing in mind that it would take you to fail atleast 4 questions to fail (below 8 points).

For writing, i pray you get above 6 5. Because its advised to always finish up and check for errors once you hear "5 mins remaining".

It's actually this unchecked error that cuts marks and reduces the points.

Please let us know when you pass. It is well.

I was so sure that I won't get up to 8 in listening as I missed 3 ques in part 1 and about 3 ques in the last part. I guessed the answers. I've been saving up to write another IELTS exam.
This result shocked me positively. shocked grin

I'm considering remarking but I'm definitely diving into the pool with this.

I must add that this forum and it's contributors are blessings. Thank you. Jay's videos and Fast track IELTS among others, helped alot as I didn't practice as much as I should have.
@oluwapolile1's mention of the Prayer to St. Joseph of Curpetino reminded me that I said this prayer so much.

And oh! If you are a Christian, don't forget the God factor.
If you believe in intercession, please say the prayer of St. Joseph of Cupertino.

I said this prayer. I'll share my result soon.
Congratulations!!
