Prettycute90: You are not alone in this boat... I have counseled many ladies going through exact same thing. One now stays on her own after her husband couldn't pay rent and they had to lose their homes so she had to move back to her parents house before finding money to rent a small room for herself and her only son. Unfortunately this is not strong enough to divorce him but you can only leave him if he chooses to let you go cos you are bound to your husband as long as you leave EXCEPT HE DECIDES TO LEAVE YOU BY HIMSELF. However you can seperate from him cos the bible allows seperation leading to reconciliation. It is a cross you have to bear and this is why I advise ladies never to have a number of kids they can't take care of personally. Sis I'm sorry to say but you must carry your cross. Work hard, build your life n that of your kids. Pray for him but don't leave him. Cheers |

Politics / Re: INEC’s Failure To E-Transmit Results Has Broken Nigerians’ Trust – Laolu Akande by Toks2008(m): 9:38pm On Sep 08, 2023 |
The picture says it all. How can a nation move forward when votes don't count. Democracy is government by the people and for the people... But when government is longer by the people then how will the government act in the interest of the people? The biggest loser is NIGERIA because never again will the progressive youths come out to register to vote, never again will progressive Nigerians bother to vote because they know that their votes are useless. INEC has set Nigeria several years back and the nation may never ever recover from it. The former senate president said openly that capturing of results real time from polling units and sending to server is what they signed into law. INEC chairman MAHMOOD YAKUBU said several times that capturing of election result real time from the polling unit and sending to the server IS A LEGAL REQUIREMENT. Furhermore, the electoral act in section 64 subsection 4 b clearly states... (4) A collation officer or returning officerat an election shall collate and announce the result of an election, subject to his or her verification and confirmation that the (b) the votes stated on the collated result are correct and consistent with the votes or results recorded and transmitted directly from polling units under section 60 (4) of this Act. Watch INEC spokesman reiterate this fact in this very short clip. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K-gIcIqeEfM?si=GIW-sLimfSL1V6HU I have always believed that once a bill is signed into law it becomes binding and failure to adhere will have legal consequences. But in a strange twist, the tribunal has ruled that it is not mandatory despite being a legal requirement in the electoral act. Perhaps if well meaning Nigerians push the government to make it mandatory that INEC must capture and transmit voting results real time from polling units to servers and failure to do this will void the result of the effected polling unit... Maybe Nigerians might give birth to another Democracy... For now I will say "May the soul of Democracy in Nigeria rest in peace" . 83 Likes 12 Shares

Rebelutionary: Noted and amended. Thanks. I actually meant to write "if the supreme court can rule that it is mandatory" but that will not happen anyways. And Infact it is already mandatory as written in the electoral act but Inec just chose to do as it likes. And I was referring to progressive youths not bothering to register not the youths suffering from Stockholm syndrome. |

Nonsense. Whether it was on the school website or ancestry.com,It was deleted. PERIOD. By the way nobody is contesting th fact that Tinubu graduated. But let's see the academic records he used to get the admission. That's what Atiku is asking for. |

adamusuleiman1: If you are smart you will not fall for this crap. They will crosscheck and correct all names before publishing and they use names written on your ID for the publication. If you ever see wrong name then it is a calculated attempt. I hope you know that CSU as well as some black universities are notorious for aiding admission scam. https://www.nytimes.com/2019/03/12/us/college-admissions-cheating-scandal.html 1 Like |

Yankee101: I have actually checked online and I have gotten a sound info that it is a misrepresentation of identity which carries serious legal consequence. This is why I love discussing with sound minds. I'm a yoruba man with sound education. I love Tinubu like a son will love his dad but I'm too objective to support any individual be it Obi, Atiku or nay other candidate blindly. Tinubu has a questionable identity and only a fool will argue this. Until he clears the discrepancy, he remains a presumed crook and such is unfit to be the CEO of a country like Nigeria. 5 Likes 1 Share |
