Well I got a job immediately I graduated and I am now a PTDF local scholar. I applied for local scholarship because of my job demands.

I believe it is hard work and prayer that helped me. During service, in the camp, I ran away to write KPMG aptitude test. That tells you I have researched and was applying for graduate jobs even before service. So I believe it is my hard work and God guidance that I got job. I didn't just sit down and run to religious centres for job miracles like many people still do.

Also, I failed last year PTDF, I sat down and read through all the thread of last year and this year. I learnt from my mistake and accepted my fault and read hard. Alas, I won this year. I didn't just sit down and accept it is my destiny to fail and not strive for the best.

I believe in Destiny and I also believe with hard work and prayer, destiny can be changed.

Most Nigerians waste their time in religious centres doing night vigils instead of striving hard first before looking for God guidance. We tend to lie against God for everything that happens without claiming responsibility of our failure.

If you open the portal from PC or desktop computer the hacking warning is there at the top left corner but on the mobile app you can't see it.

I won't quote any one, but I'm amazed at the choice of words used by some persons here. The use of abusive words in public forums or any where else is wrong. Also, the questions being asked by some graduates here sounds like....I want to cook Jollof rice, should I use rice? If obeying instruction was a test I'm sure many persons will fail. If some of your activities were being monitored by an HR personnel from DPR, I know some more persons will fail.

The fact that you have gone through at least 15 years of academic drill (Primary, Secondary and Tertiary) is enough reason for you to be of good conduct. We do not need to argue over anything, let the mails and messages from DPR do the talking. Focus on other things and see how you can add value to yourself. The truth is that there is a place for everyone, if you don't get DPR you will get somewhere else. Worry less but keep your hopes and dreams alive.

Thanks some people ask questions like a 3 year old pupil.

Its amazing how far off course we have gotten on this forum. Remember these facts -

1) We did not all apply for the same position, there is a specific number people they want for each position. E.g. you do not expect DPR to employ in equal number Pharmacist and Engineers, or equal number of Lawyers and Accountants. So I expect u to measure ur progress with people in your field who applied for the same position. That is where the real competition is.

2) Federal Character is being applied. So also, measure urself with people from ur geo political zone.

3) Some comments were made concerning those that shared experiences and questions during the CBT. I am dismayed at this. We sat for the test on different days, and d questions of yesterday was not the same of today. So why the "I told u so".

4) Concerning the issue of portal closed or open. I was never able to login to mine from the beginning. I called three of my colleagues, two of them could not log in, the other was able to. I know we are all confused and worried about it but let us exercise some patience. If portal closed was automatic disqualification, I would expect an email to that effect in a matter of hours, but its one week already. So what do u deduce from that!

I wish all of us well in this job pursuit. I know this opportunity came to us as a favour from God. Please remain hopeful and have some faith.

Please don't let us mind some disgruntled hopeless people here. They've seen the outcome of their results already as denoted by their usernames. By their fruits we shall know them.

Looking at those who were sent mails by DPR. You'll deduct that some:
1. uploaded more than required(i.e GT=3, EH=5, this is the actual number of documents required).
2. uploaded not accordingly as stated but instead in reverse(normal arrangement= NYSC Cert, A-Level Result Cert, SSCE for GT).
3. uploaded irrelevant documents like ND Cert, Transcript, Testmonial, etc.
4. double uploaded their documents(i.e Nysc cert, SSCE, each being two on their profile).
5. having personal(i.e name, age, gender, etc) mismatch, which doesn't correspond to 1 or more of their documents.
Hence, they were asked to update/edit. However, the recent NLNG recruitment, some persons were asked for updates. I wasn't, yet I was invited for the test.
Pls, debunk rumuors that you are out till DPR start sending invite mails. Quote me, DPR would NEVER close your application without sending you a regret mail. They are organised people, wait till the mails start coming before you conclude your fate. All we need now is "Patience."

Firstly, i used an up-to-date google chrome on a system to edit the details.

Secondly, on your question of out-smarting the system, No sir! I think i used my residential address' LGA instead of the State of Origin's. It's of course a terrible oversight, as it shows it's non-editable.

I'd go with your advice of calling their hot-lines before noon. I wouldn't mind if you could help me with their functioning lines. Thanks for the reply sir and no offence taken.

You should also include LGA of your residential area.

Rigorous process to shortlist 3,500 candidates for the interview. Out of which 400 as opposed the initial 700 some of us speculated about will be selected as DPR staff.
Mind you, all these 400 will not be on merit list!. Nearly 60% will be for those with the longest legs in this country. The rest...it's going to be highly competitive. It's safe to say there's hope in a "no man's land" than in this country in terms of white collar job. This will probably be my last post on this thread.
For those with portals closed, please be HOPEFUL as there's nothing God cannot do. I wish y'all best of luck. I've moved ON unto greater things by God's grace.

We need winners on this thread not quiters, those on nepotism are already working in DPR what's left now is purely merit candidates.

Now, every staff is aware that texts and emails have been sent to successful candidates. That's the merit list. I wouldn't know why some received messages and their portals still got close. Trust me it's hard digesting the news and typing on here.Portals closed, case closed.

Was it stated in their SMS and email that they're successful or invited for interview? Or you just assumed the update texts is for successful candidate.

Onyiridike will provide answer to this , I never wanted to argue with her that some received the SMS and email whose profiles are experiencing "object moved, errors and portal closed" I can categorically say that the message is for those who didn't update their profile at all.

I won't comment much but rather be reading posts on this thread until interview messages start flying in.

See desperate people rationalising everything. There are people whose portal was closed even though they never edited anything (myself). So, that assumption that they were sent messages because they didn't edit their portal is stupid. Maybe they'll eventually invite some with portal closed, but one thing's probably true, those with portal open and mail have made it.

Well the mail is sent to those who didn't update their portals which made it remained open, my portal was closed 18hrs after I've edited it.

The mails is for those who didn't update their profile which enabled them the continuous access to the portal

I believe the mail is for those who didn't update or edit their profiles before the general closure of the portal. After I edited my details , I was able to login for more than 18 hrs before the "Application Portal Closed" thingy.

Disclaimer is also Denial in disguise , why was it that the same set of people that received the SMS also got the counter messages? Why wasn't the disclaimer sent to everyone of us before they went on to release statement through their site? I believe DPR sent those SMS in haste and they quickly corrected the mistakes .

My own reasoning which I believe is very logical, those with "Application Portal Closed" means their profiles had been processed and attended to , hence waiting for either invitation or rejection messages those which is still opened is either unprocessed or being attended to. I mean no offense please.

I can say with all certainty that the text message did not come from DPR. The guys (Umeh and the other one) who got the text had earlier posted their details here on this thread. So who ever sent the text got their details and decided to prank them. Then sent a counter-message before things go too far and get out of hands.

Brother I'm very sure of what I'm saying , Engrvin and Drnice both got the SMS and they never screenshot their profile on here.
