Tempering or no tempering...if the job is yours no one can deny you....but i think it will be too far fetched to suggest that top politicians, ministers, govs etc wont have a slot... That to me is day dreaming........ However those with EH that face no competition of demand from their quota might get lucky... So for me i think it balls down to wether there is much or little pressure from your side... Even appointing the head for parastatals like dpr involves intense lobbying.. Like i scratch ur back you scratch mine.... Until we stop
lobbying for appointments and giving people based on merits i dont see how it can be to reasonable extent free and fair.... Alot of people can be lucky...so pray and fast... But dont put too much hope in it to get dissapointed.... A friend of mine some years back cried for not being offered job at tetfund with his friends.... Currently he has more money than any of them including their director... Some dissapointments can be blessing in diguise... Good luck

Guys how una dey, pls any idea on salary package for nlng, success mails rolling in, request for intl passport, but package not stated yet, mayb after training. Congratulations to those that have been interviewed. I pray God's favour speaks for us.

Please i got a message about 4 days ago to update my information on the application portal and to ignore if i've been interviewed. But as I've not been interviewed, i went on to see what information i needed to update. On getting to the point of logging in, an icon popped up after i put in my email address and password to say my credentials do not match. I tried the forgot password process, i did not get any reset link.

I called one of the support lines and even though the person i spoke to was very polite, he was not of much help. He said the log in portal is temporarily shut down and the message i got to update my information is a very old stale message (leaves me to wonder why i saw the clause of 'ignore if you've been interviewed).

please is there anybody experiencing the same 'credentails don't match'? and how has it been rectified?

Let me share a lit bit of my experience, I applied for a job in one of the government parastatals in 2012, was invited for aptitude test and out of over 4000 candidates I came top. Got invited for interview and they keep calling me to get some more details about me which made me thought the job is already for me. On getting to the venue the staffs were already scampering to meet me but at the interview room where the then minister of the energy and mineral resources and FCC reps were waiting, Favour ran out of me, the only antagonist I had was my tribe man and he attacked me as if I snatched his wife, even other interviewers were cautioning him that he was asking irrelevant questions. They asked me many technical questions which I answered satisfactorily but this man kept saying “gerrout “ then I know it’s not how far or how well but how favoured by God. So my dear currently successful ones please pray for divine favour, do not only lean on ur own understanding and rejoice not on the failures of others. May God bless us all.

Madam Setaje, please stop discouraging them I’m yet to be invited and portal still closed but let the currently successful ones enjoy their moments and prepare well.

Secondly, I urge you all to put in concerted efforts to obtain practicals tips on how best to prepare for an interview to include composure, oratory, simplicity & clarity of expressions etc. Most importantly, do not rub off your invites on we the APC chaps because I know for a fact that life goes in cycles & no one is certain of what the future has in stock. It is by the grace of the Almighty that you all have made it this far. An APC candidate at this point could in the near future turn out to head the DPR by virtue of grace & providence..
