Am tired of making people understand from the begenning that APC doesnt make you disqualiied although i didn't make them understand that initially when my portal changed to editable 24hrs later i got a mail to update and i discovered my nysc certificate was missing, after rescanned and upload in less than 24hrs my portal became closed till this moment....i watch as some people will come and say my uncle in DPR say dis and that here......una papa no fit dey work for DPR na only una uncle sabi work for dpr....and same people will still boldly and confidently say text message will start coming in this week and una go still come talk say mayb no interview for the recruitment and una know una self here, simply because una get message una go dey feel like say una don get the job already...

Lets all be hopeful if you know you did your test well and your credentials meet DPR requirement. I wish everyone a success mail irrespective of your current online application status.

As the public is aware, the Department of
Petroleum Resources (DPR) is currently
conducting a staff recruitment exercise aimed at
selecting suitably qualified persons from a pool of
duly shortlisted candidates, which followed the
approval of their applications for advertised
positions in the Department.
It is important for the public to note that the
ongoing recruitment exercise is being carried out
in accordance with extant rules guiding such
exercises in the Nigerian Public Service. We
therefore wish to assure all Nigerians that the
process is being undertaken with a high sense of
responsibility, transparency and fairness,
considering all principles and values that reflect
the diversity and plurality of our nation.
To this end therefore, the process has been
designed to be rigorous and competitive to ensure
that only the very best candidates are chosen
based purely on merit and their respective
abilities.
In this regard, we wish to further assure that any
rumours circulating in the media or elsewhere to
the effect that special consideration is being given
to certain Nigerians and / or their wards regarding
the ongoing recruitment, are manifestly false, and
should be disregarded in its entirety as the
Department is sacredly following a transparent
process that does not allow any room for
manipulation in favour of people no matter how
highly placed their principals or sponsors are.
Finally, we want to use this opportunity to request
that, candidates who participated in the recently
conducted aptitude tests to keep monitoring the
accessible online portal for the outcome and
subsequent stages of the exercise.

Some gullible fellows have left this thread simply because of what they have been made to believe.

Worse still, another set of gullible fellows have gone ahead to give "Thanksgiving offering" simply because they have been made to believe that their names have entered the "book of life" and hence, they are parading themselves up and down on this thread...isokay

Long story short.....I have a friend who lives with his 13 yrs old daughter...... Recently a female friend who is a neighbor called me and told me the little girl confided in her that the father is harassing her sexually.

I was shocked but sometimes I stay in there home I used to notice some funny moves but I couldn't place my finger on it cos it all seems to me like Father and daughter love.

I couldn't ask the little girl cos I wanted to have a proof. Recently I came visiting and he started that rough play as usual but because I was already tipped as a result I was at Alert. I quickly told him I was going to the shop.....But I didn't go anywhere I came back immediately and went straight to the window. I saw him bouncing untop of her. The expression on her face broke my heart she is not happy.

I called that female neighbor and told her what I saw.....we told a friend we all questioned the little girl she confirmed it to be true.


Now what do we do? We planned to confront the father is this the best step to take?


I just want him to stop.

How many got the update SMS /mails or are you just of the opinion they say? But mind you some who got the initial SMS are seeing the "not qualified for interview texts on their portals ".

Do you know update mail and SMS were sent again this evening ?. And the guy that predicted it said those with open portal are the successful ones .

Don't you think is about time we believe him and call spade by its name ?

Am beginning to see reasons with those who think the recruitment website may have some technical issues

my friends who were not invited for the aptitude test portal are closed till date. DPR IS DIFFERENT. DPR portal were open during the aptitude test and after the test all portals were closed. applicants for kaduna state board of internal revenue are not much compared to DPR. then those that scored above 83% in kaduna state board were they portals still closed from your statement. i was expecting my portal to be closed after editing but it didn't. it is either those people whose portal are open are disqualify or they are the qualified ones.how about those who score less than your sis, are their portal still open.do you know if the cut off point is 85%. please dont assume again. Thanks

if you sensibly analyse the whole posts on this thread you can vehemently reach a conclusion that this thread comprise four(4) set of people out of which one must fall under this categories. 1. Those who read and go out without any comment. 2. Those who post a genuine information. They have reliable information that is to say they are either work at DPR or they have a close relations there. We should have listing to their opinion instead of wasting our time arguing. I knew they are ready to give us all what they have as far as DPR recruitment as concern. They are ever ready to contribute if not because of the behaviour of some of us here. Some of them may be part of Recruitment team. Those people who have reliable information here are: DPRMoniker, Walush, Saddeq, Palaver, Tamihawtt87. 3.those who want the thread to be very active even if they dont have information Example are: Insperyadyou, EngVin, Engrnic, Goodwalima1985 and so on and so forth. 4: those who want people to talk about them like Madrid4u, Dayjahvoo despite this guy has two account, he also use another female account Onyiridike. He uses onyiridike account to disqualify people with portal closed and he also uses Dayjahvoo account to insult people. What ever the case may be i wish evry one here success

Are you aware that your salary is another person's tithe and there are some persons here who earn more than you do. You should not demand for respect just because you earn above 250k. The person you are talking to may just be your boss tomorrow.

The information I am passing across is simple, DPR Portal would not send uploading emails to candidates and close people's portal for no reason.

You guys have also made instances of NNPC past recruitment where NNPC sent update emails to people and those people ended up being unsuccessful in the process. However, what they did not tell you was if NNPC closed the portals of people that did not receive emails back then.

What I am saying is simple, Application Portal Closed is the status of even people that were not even invited for the aptitude test, not to talk about those that were invited
