Atiku who spoke in Lagos at the Ford Foundation Special Reunion to mark the 80th Anniversary of Ford Foundation said like many parents of his generation, his father needed his help in the farm and therefore attempted to stop him from getting formal education.
This is not the first time Atiku would be saying this.
It doesn't look real and true.

Gbaaaaam!!! I'm glad you can relate to my situation
you know another interesting thing;

The application of things and interactions with members on Nairaland to reality. ignoring "some unimportant" people calling one's line (like ignoring many mentions on Nairaland). To them, it seems like arrogance

I don't get you bro
the same way I feel about myself.

The thought of what to post, the imagination of what thread to create, response to mentions and some other Nairaland issues and the time spent doing them are enough to make one to be cut off from friends.

Recently, I'm beginning to think I'm now evolving into an introvert. As a very social person laced with high sense of humor, I barely call people these days even though I have loads of credit on my phone. People now complain that I find it hard to reply my whatsapp and BBM messages after reading them, and I have been accused of becoming proud and snobbish.

I now feel very fulfilled being alone in the room while my villa mates are making fun outside which is unusual of me. In fact, I'm not socially active like I used to be. These are signs that I'm becoming introverted

What could be wrong with me ?
this seems to be typical of frequent Nairaland posters!

Just shoot the man without trial. What kind of wickedness is this? Why can't we have good news from Bayelsa state? Why perpetrate act that will only give bad name to Ijaw nation? This is evil...

Shoot the man on his balls angry
not really wise shooting the man!

Let him be wholly burnt but not to death so that he can live to experience the great pain.

law to death, and a brother-in-law who is severely burnt is fighting for his life

Politics › Re: Sokoto Government Recalls 39 Students From UAE Over Recession by Tolexander:
He said, “As at the time we sent the children to Dubai to study last year, the state government was spending over N400 million per annum to maintain them there.
If the government was genuinely and effectively spending the N400 million on Sokoto State University annually, the University would be competing with the UAE universities in World universities ranking and many students from Sokoto State would benefit from it instead of the selected few (likely selected out of nepotism and cronyism).

[s]Shut up my friend. I don't know what's the problem with many of you on this forum. You have made unnecessary criticism and insults your daily bread. Yes the President went to commiserate with osun state on their 25th anniversary and at the same time commissioned a school. Pray tell me, what is now bad in this harmless thing he did? Must you guys criticize everything even when that thing is harmless? Obama commissions kindergarten schools and nobody make any fuss about it.

Economy is bad doesn't mean everybody should loose their sense of reasoning. PMS sold @ $38 pb is enough to push the country into any eminent recession. What is Nigeria exporting again aside crude oil? Most of you here are funny. You say all sorts of no-brainy jargons and still think you are making sense.

OrlandoOwoh:
You have no point. I'm sure if the President sits in Abuja and you didn't hear anything about him yesterday, you would have been happy. FYI the commissioning of the school was part of Osun State @ 25. Next year he will be in Lagos State @ 50, prepare what you will say against the visit.
and who cares if you see no point in it!

PMB visited Ogun @40 and we "read" the 40 projects commisioned, I didn't criticise it.
Coming to commission a school structure in Osun @25 is a celebration of no merit. If he had come and gone without any commissioning, no problem with that.
It is not a working visit to a local government we are talking about here.

Anytime you open a school gate, you close a prison gate. School is very very important in human development. However, PMB is there for a bigger reason of celebrating Osun at 25 like he did when Ogun marked its own anniversary smiley
How many schools are in Nigeria today, and how many prisoners have we?

How many schools were existing in the pre 80 and how many prisoners had our prisons then?

Stop making some quotes that betray reality in Nigeria, though they are applicable elsewhere.

Are u alright, what brings oschoffa into this, in fact this shows you acknowledge the fact that he was called when the eclipse of the sun occurred in 1947, september 29th, but because of your disbelief, you refuse to comprehend and accept the coincidence. Why would it be oschoffa, it has to be a lie. say whatever you wish, think whatever you want, the truth is the power of God is inexplicable.
You are a fool, I can't be decieved anyway cos I'm not a sheep!

Moreover, it occurred in May 1947, not September. Take your ignorance away from here!

This is new to me. Bro shed more light on this make I learn
Read the excerpts below

The movement was founded by Samuel Joseph Bilewu Oschoffa, a former carpenter born in Dahomey (now Benin) in 1909. [3] Raised as Protestant (Methodism ), he had a divine revelation on 27 May 1947, during a solar eclipse , in a forest where he was lost. He felt called to pray, to heal the sick and raise the dead and founded his church in September 1947.

3- OSHOFFA IN THE FOREST
To exceed by the facts, it did not know any more what to make but it returned nevertheless in the forest in the
hope that after the cutting of wood, its paddler would hear reason and return to surely seek it. Once with the
place where it was to cut out wood, it had solar eclipse, it was on May 23rd, 1947. All around him darkens. At the moment when it tried to reflect to understand what occurred, in front of him, appears a light dazzling which had the appearance of a human being suspended in the air and at the bottom of this image on the ground a white monkey having four teeth including two in top and two bellow (this has a spiritual direction), a snake and a peacock. A voice resounded LULI! LULI! LULI! What means the GRACE! GRACE! GRACE! The voice told him: “my son, I am not afraid will entrust a mission to you. Because much are those which adore me here on ground but which still will seek additional protections after other gods so that after their death, they lose my face. Your mission will thus consist in preaching the good news of repentance to the Men. I will accompany your works by great miracles and wonders”. When the voice disappeared, it was filled of the HOLY SPIRIT and remained in the forest during ninety (90) days when it nourished only pure honey and water of river GODRO.

This is my country. This is Nigeria. @akinwunmiambode @lagosstategovt Who protects the small businesses trying to do HONEST work in this disgustingly corrupt nation? With no warning, @nulijuice and all the shops on this strip were bulldozed down because the landlord apparently did not pay a 40 million Naira permit
This is a lie nobody will take.

Bulldoze a whole structure cos of a permit fee not paid? The highest government would do was to seal the house.

Tell us another lie!
