Politics › 100 Bodies ‘mass Grave’ In Town Taken From Boko Haram by Tolexander(op): 9:26pm On Mar 20, 2015
100 bodies ‘mass grave’ in town taken from Boko Haram- VANGUARD

Around 100 bodies were found Friday in a mass grave on the outskirts of the town of Damasak after it was liberated from Boko Haram Islamists, a Chadian army spokesman told AFP.
Soldiers discovered the bodies — some decapitated — under a bridge just outside the town, which was retaken from Boko Haram on March 9 by troops from Chad and Niger.
“There are about 100 bodies spread around under the bridge just outside the town,” said Colonel Azem Bermandoa Agouna, adding that he had visited the scene himself close to the border with Niger.
He claimed the massacre probably happened about two months ago and said: “This is the work of Boko Haram.”
It was, however, impossible to verify the claim independently.
Colonel Bermandoa Agouna said several of the victims had been decapitated while other had been shot. “There are heads here and bodies there, the mass grave has become like a termite mound,” he added.
Chad and Niger launched a vast air and ground offensive against Boko Haram in the area on March 8, quickly taking Damasak from the Nigerian Islamist militants.
According to a Chadian army source, the militants suffered heavy losses in the push, with some 200 killed in fighting on Sunday for the loss of 10 Chadian soldiers with 20 wounded.
“Operation Mai Dounama”, named after a 13th-century emperor of Borno province in northern Nigeria, aims to destroy Boko Haram bases close to Niger, a Nigerien army spokesman said Thursday.
Boko Haram took Damasak on November 24, killing around 50 people and forcing another 3,000 to flee, according to the UN’s High Commissioner for Refugees.

President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has congratulated Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on his victory in Tuesday’s general elections in Israel.

President Jonathan looks forward to continuing to work with Prime Minister Netanyahu to further strengthen the existing cordial and mutually-beneficial relations between Nigeria and Israel.

The President and the Federal Government will also continue to count on the cooperation and support of the Israeli government under Mr. Netanyahu’s leadership as Nigeria strives to overcome the challenges of terrorism, violent extremism and sustainable development.

Recognizing that strife and crisis in the Middle East remain matters of great concern to the international community, President Jonathan called on Prime Minister Netanyahu, his incoming administration in Israel and other countries in the Middle-East to rededicate themselves to achieving lasting peace in the region through peaceful negotiations.

The President wished Mr. Netanyahu a very successful new term in office and prayed that God Almighty will continue to grant him the wisdom, courage and strength he requires to lead the people of Israel into greater peace, security and prosperity.

Henry Michel was a French philosopher who lectured in the
U.S. and many other places. His philosophy was based on an
examination of two modes of phenomena (exterior & interior).

His basic idea is that a person should examine things (events,
persons, etc.) very carefully, before reaching any conclusion.
So, he is one of the first philosophers to have a kind of a
philosophy of examination.

There is this audio that's circulating in ghana of PEJ. It is played almost every day. it was a speech she gave during one of her political campaigns for her husband. She was quoted as saying in pidgin;

"if pikin no sabi do well in school u for repeat am"

meaning if some Nigerians are claiming that her husband has done nothing, they should vote for him again.

Has anybody heard that audio? Is it true that she said that or it wasn't?

frankmoney:
so how come Africans didn't explore other continents too ? there was no major industrial revolution in africa
they weren't really interested in the world outside africa and they'd not really got what it takes to push them from the world.

The Europeans were subjected to the push-pull effect away from their world to other continents:

PUSH EFFECT

DISEASES: diseases like bubonic plague did a little effect in pushing the europeans away though negligible.

Religious crisis most especially beginning from the 16th century of Tudor's house [starting with king Henry viii] in England and the persecution of the reformers, protestants, separatists and purists.

PULL EFFECT
Holy land: as a result of the papal call to reclaim the holy land called crusade.

Trade: though, initially with the Asian to get golds, pearls and spices until the ottoman empire got the mediterranean. The quest to bye pass the ottoman lead to the accidental discovery of American continent through westward voyage to asia.

I could go on but lazy to type and gat to go outta here bro.

Biblically, some say Ham,son of Noah who was cursed to always been beneath his brothers Shem and Japhet is the father of the negro race.
bro, don't let us publicize hypocrisy.

While thinking on the question, i realised the industrial age started in Europe not very long after the europeans expanded and widened their horizons by venturing out of the eurasia continental plate to the New World(America) to surjourn. That was where they got many things as raw materials through dominance and cheap labours.

There, can't be developement if a man persists in not moving out of his location.

3. Beans
‘For some they’ll feel full of energy after a
bean-filled meal, for others they may feel
sluggish or at worst bloated and even an
increase in flatulence, so best avoided,’ she
explained.
the inclusion of beans seems to be more of psychological than the physiological consequence.

It pisses off seeing one's partner farting during coitus. Sometimes the flatulence may appear as queef.
