PUNCH gathered in Abuja, on Friday,Good, these are the scanders hindered by the administration of GEJ from being probed. But the process shouldn't be selective! |
derrick333:yap! celebrate the 'incubent' champion and appreciate the past champions for the job well done. |
MrCcf:eh common bro, those days, men were playing with passion for the glory where there were no rules to protect. Hence the competitions. Unlike now that boys are driven and powered by the money to play. |
psalmizt:all these attributed to these states do not represent or has a negligible element of democratic practices. Bauchi could as well said it is a gateway to the North from Niger Republic and probably Chad. likewise all other states would give very convincing reasons to be more represented leading to the complication of political issues and allocations of seats. Democratic process deals with accurate facts, figures and values of living homo sapiens for a reliable statistics. Rhode island with the smallest landmass has a higher representation in the congress than Alaska with the largest landmass. The Democratic House of Representatives is the representation of People for reasons and not the representation of reasons for the People. Hence, the proportions values which is a function dependent on the populations and not reasons. |
derrick333:Chelsea FC was existing the time 'footballers wore pants and used orange as football'. why didn't Chelsea win the 5th league title then? |
The victory on boko haram has an undertone of the power change cos the military understands the consequence and coming of a man who knows the in and out of military operations and won't condone the corruption in the institution like it's been happening in the out going administration. hence, the change in the attitude of the military. |
RIP RIO' s wife! |
psalmizt:bro, though I know that Nigeria statistics isn't credible and base on fact, what have you to justify the larger population of the three states than Bauchi State? |
barcanista:The regionalism where each region was controlling her resources similar to the true Federalism was abolished and a Unitary system introduced by General Aguiyi Johnson Thomas Umuidike Ironsi, an Igbo. So what are we talking about? Base on your data and values, Ndigbo is the third largest ethnic group and you are agitating for the equal representation of the ethnic group with larger Yoruba and Hausa. There is no way the proportional representation can be done that Ndigbo leaving in the South East domain, their figures will still be trailing behind the Yoruba and Hausa's figures and values except: a credible census with genuine fact and data is organized and abolition of ethnic and tribal politics in our system where anybody can represent where he lives. Mind you, the representative won't represent the interest of his ethnic group but his constituency. |
barcanista:http://www.geohive.com/cntry/nigeria.aspx The US federating units controlling the individual resources has no relevance here but the proportional representation in the lower chamber of the congress. The House of Representatives in the US where our constitution is adopted is made up of members base on the population of the states. so far the Ndigbo is the third largest ethnic group in Nigeria doesn't mean they should be treated differently from other ethnic groups. |
atlwireles:maybe you are naive of The US! |
barcanista:as the OP, may I seek your opinion on the democratic structure and settings on which the Nation is modeled? I believe you will agree that the constitution is structured on the US constitution and not Bosnia and Herzegovina? |
sinaj:you too like prick? kilode? |
sinaj:you too like prick? kilode? |
Yasher:then your skull must be empty. then give us the content of the airing before going on with you! |
Redoil:what is the justification to call the barring bad? |
AIT isn't interested in airing anything concerning GMB, that is the reason it gave itself up to the task of reducing itself to the malicious airing. since GMB has given them the baring on what they aren't interested in doing, why the shout? |
so unfortunate reading many posters labelling Nnamdi Sambo as the dullest forgetting Goodluck Jonathan was duller as the VP and fenced out by Turai Yaradua. |
before election, she was running from pillars to posts, praying and being prayed for. When the election was conducted and result announced, she looked back at the way she prayed. Madam Patience Faka Jonathan probably feels prayers aren't answered and sees no reason to pray, hence her reasons for dodging every prayer in Aso Rock. |
Nigerian pastors and 419! He said some politicians wouldn't win the election, later came out to say they came to him to pray for them to revert the prophecy. He could have made the 'false' prophecy to attract and pull the attention of those politicians for prayer, as we all know prayer isn't for free to them. |
OP, what is the title of the film? cos the costume looks kannywood! |
what do you expect from the man to do? The official activity of the Vice President is constititioned on the absence of the President after swearing in. At the political campaigns prior to the election, was he not physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually useful and active for the massive acceptance of their candidacy? so far he is 'selectively' elected to be Buhari's running mate does no translate into Buhari basing his lyrics majorly and solely on Osinbajo's name. Joe Bidden, an ex officio, President of the US senate, how many times did you hear him or see him before and after Obama won his first bid? That is someone with double constitutional responsibility! |
APC has got what it wants from the PDP outcast now, the next thing is to lock the remaining ones out. well, this is good for our democracy for a vibrant opposition. |
CHARLOE:the very fact is that Nigerian men are excellent sexually more than those SA guys. |
#opoloeyenobeopeneye where is the remaining $18.52billion? |

Nigeria has complained to South Africa about a wave of attacks targeting foreigners and called on Pretoria to punish the culprits and compensate the victims, the foreign ministry said on Wednesday. Junior foreign minister Musiliu Obanikoro summoned South Africa’s High Commissioner Lulu Mnguni “to register Nigeria’s protest over the ongoing xenophobic attacks against fellow Africans in South Africa”. “In the meeting, ambassador Obanikoro condemned the attacks on foreigners in South Africa, expressing concern on the fate of Nigerians and indeed of other nationals who are migrants in the country,” said a statement from his office. South Africa needed to take “concrete steps to quell the unrest and bring the culprits involved to book” to act as a deterrent and prevent further violence, the statement added. “He also called on the South African authorities to compensate the victims of these attacks,” the ministry said. Soldiers were deployed overnight to tackle gangs hunting down and killing foreigners after at least seven people died in violence in the last few weeks. On Wednesday, police said 11 men were arrested in a raid in Johannesburg. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/04/obanikoro-summons-safricas-high-commissioner-lulu-mnguni-on-xenophobic-attacks/ |
