The commissioner said on March 16 a man from Amaoji in Isiala-Ngwa South Local Government Area of Abia reported that his wife connived with a doctor to sell their baby. He said that the new born baby boy was sold for N300,000 by the doctor who allegedly delivered it. Tilli said that the doctor had been charged to court while three other pregnant women he haboured in his baby factory were used as prosecution witnesses. He said that a couple were also arrested for selling their new born baby for N200,000 to someone, who was still at large. Tilli said the command would stop at nothing to ensure that the state was rid of child- traffickers. (NAN) http://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/04/police-in-abia-arrest-7-child-trafficking-suspects/ |

Why dying for nigeria when i can live to make changes and defend it? M.K.O Abiola died for democracy, and what is the outcome? the presidency wasn't given to any of his family. Murtala Rabat Mohamad died for nigeria, just a blue ink of his head and chest on #20 note. Nnamdi Azikwe fought for one nigeria, his people castigated him even after death. Emeka Odumegwu Ojukwu fought for the dissociation of the nigerian ions and ran away only to come back to be shining the congo of one of the prettiest gurl. And even contested the senatorial seat and presidential post. So, why being homicidal for nigeria when I can live to exterminate the people involved in nigerians problem and rectify the situation. |
That is the problem about some africans with our mentality. Will the beating abort the picture of the joystick from the poor boy? The best thing she could have done is to orientate the boy and start a sex education right away since he is already exposed. |
Alamiesegha is a shameless Idiot. Just because Umar Yaradua is dead, that is the reason why he felt he could just make a lie out of him to justify the God forsaken pardon. How i wish the dead has a way of inflicting something like a chicken pox or a slap on any lie against it. Why can't he indict Obasanjo or Atiku in the saga of course the crime was committed during their tenure.. |
bcomputer101: #Gbagannnnn#TU QUOQUE! The action of the children in the home will only be determined by how the father's attitude is. A father with a strict action that disciplines his children when they go wrong with love ends up having a children that have the fear of the father. Whereas, a father having to pacify the rebellious child at the expense of the other children will end up having rebellious children with grudges. |

BY IFEANYI OKOLIE LAGOS— Five persons said to be specialists in vandalizing and stealing telecommunication cables belonging to Nigerian Telecommunications Limited, NITEL, within Lagos Island and its environs have been arrested by the police. The suspects identified as Eze David, Iluwa Ubah, Oyebuchi Nwodom, Femi David and Michael Okoki, were arrested separately by policemen attached to Dolphin Estate Police Station and Anti-Robbery Policemen from Area ‘A’ Police Command. I started last year and I usually operate in areas where I knew the police do not patrol regularly. “I have done it for more than 10 times and I make more than a hundred thousand naira from each trip. The job that gave me out was at Broad Street, by Kakawa on LagosIsland, we did that for about two days and when we were about conveying the cables out of the area the police intercepted us. “I ventured into it because there was no other job for me to do.” http://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/04/police-nab-5-suspected-nitel-cable-thieves/ |
byrron:it was an error. Was meant to be in the north eastern part of the country. |
So far an attack was made on a village doesn't mean it was aimed at the politician in the village. It is just one of the numerous attacks on the village in the northern part of the country. Had the attack been aimed at the deputy governor, it would have been launched when the politician was around in the village or when he was on a journey in the village. Just like the attack of the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero and Hon. Gyang Fulani and senator Gyang Dantong. |
hugafella: In your quest to insult ibos, u simply ignored the fact that BH committed crimes against humanity. U have sold your conscience on the platter of your hatred for ibos. U forgot the ibos have always asked for justice. And if people from your part of the country are okay with unjust treatment, then be prepared to live with the consequences. For us, we believe justice should prevail and we have every right to do so. I'm sorry for people who reason like you, because y'all have never had anything to stand by. Always on the fence criticizing ibos.like you said, a crime against humanity and is the igbo the only humanity? Tell us what justice the ndigbo have fought for! The best thing that could have been done is to request for justice and not whining. |
I don't really have any problem with this man because of all the pastors, he is the only 'real' pastor devoted to charity. And doesn't squeeze oil out of his members, shrinking them. All this while that they have been challenging his controversies, there hasn't been anything to hold against him to prove he is devil incarnated. Where are those so called men of God that have no controversial life? How have they impacted on the lives of their members and the poor? The only problem am having with him is the decision to stop predicting what the outcome of the football matches are going to be. Of course nobody to give me the prediction to all these football betting sites again. |
Seems GEJ has realised that the south west is the gun powder keg of nigeria just like the balkan peninsula was to Europe. That is why he feels he needs pacifying them. No matter how good human being is, there isn't anyway he can satisfy people of diverse culture, religion and mentality to life. I trust my people, bribing them will never make them to lose their focus or get them disorganised at all. With all the time given to pacify terrorists, grant pardon to the ex convicts, satisfy the rebels and grant amnesty to militants just for an election that is coming up in 2years time, when precisely will he have the time to execute the presidential role he is elected to do? |

Afam4eva: I've heard Nigerian people say things that suggest that knowing how to speak good english suggest that one is educated. How's that even possible. You see ladies saying things like "He's a nice guy and speaks very well". He speaks very well means means he speaks good english with a foreign accent and not Igbo or Yoruba. So, Why does speaking Good English translate to one been educated and smart. Can't someone who doesn't speak English be smart?actually, a fluent and good spoken english is not an assay for intelligence. Just like a house with colourful outward appearance, nice exterior design. But when the interior of the house was seen, just an opposite of the exterior. Though i agree it is a sign of sound education which is a function of the school he went to, the environment he grew up and the kind of parents and family he has. |
Chubhie: Please refrain from condeming all the good people of yoruba i personally know. Dude and company are known hacks who are payed to do tribal jobs for politicians who fest on such negativity. His myopic views should in no way change how you relate with all wonderful yoruba peeps.philosopher chubhie. How far? |

I can't enter into this ultimate search of nigerian good news! The search resembles trying to pass an elephant through a needle. |
The top 10 richest presidents dominated by the arabian peninsula. Jonathan is richer, that is the reason he couldn't declare his assets which he is constantly acquiring after Yaradua had forced him to declare them when he was the vice president. |
OAU law doesn't require mathematics! |
Does he think prayer is the solution to Nigerian problem? We have many churches that can pray 30hours out of the 24hours given in a day but still wallowing in the same problem they are praying on. Likewise many mosques in the nooks and cranies of this nation built to pray with the members still stucked to the same tribulations. One can only back an action or work up with prayer before God can even be interested in whatever we invites him to do. God can do everything but will never do everything for us, hence the need to work for ourselves. Well, what does one expect from someone with millions of cluelessness! |
vanstanzy: We want u to shut ur hell-hole of a mouth up.blunt tool! Didn't you read where he talked about igbo? Or did he carried the entire south along? Well, people like you should exist to appreciate why it pays to be wise. |
confusion247: Foolish question from a tribal bigot.you seem to be deprived of common sense. Just tell the whole nigeria what exactly you want. Well, what reasonable thing can come from a confused fellow. |
