This is so revealing and appealing. |

It is done and settled, 2019 will be very interesting, I have it on good record and any fellow Atikulators can bear me witness that we have few of these group who can on their own mobilize and canvass for at least 500,000 voters each on their own |
SOME PEOPLE SAID H.E ATIKU ABUBAKAR COMPANIES WERE FOUNDED WITH LOOTED FUNDS FROM (1999 - 2007). I LAUGHED TIRELESSLY AND SHOWED THEM THE STIPULATED DATES THOSE COMPANIES WERE FOUNDED. 1. NICOTES (Now INTELS) founded in 1989. 2. PRODECO, 1996. 3. MY FARM, 1982. 4. ABTI Schools, 1992. Below is some information on his companies: 1. Intels Intels Nigeria Limited provides integrated logistics services for the Nigerian oil and gas industry. It offers agency services; cargo services; port management and support services in shore bases; and manages client operations, including pipe racks, stacking areas, warehousing, enclosed areas, jetties, offices, water tanks, fuel storage, generators, compressors, and various other services and facilities. 2. Prodeco Prodeco operates in Nigeria with two companies: Prodeco (Property Development Company) operating within the main territory of Nigeria and Prodeco International operating in Oil & Gas Free Zones. The first company was incorporated in March 1996 as a property development company. Over the years, PRODECO has engaged in building, marine, and infrastructural construction for various clients in the oil and gas industry. 3. Atiku Abubakar farm He also has a farm in Adamawa state. In 1981 he moved into agriculture, acquiring 2,500 hectares of land near Yola to start a maize and cotton farm. The business fell on hard times and closed in 1986. "My first foray into agriculture, in the 1980s, ended in failure," he once said in 2014. However, since then his farm has expanded and blossomed. 4. ABTI schools The major part of this is the American University of Nigeria (AUN). It is located in the city of Yola, capital of Adamawa, one of Nigeria's 36 states. The campus, which occupies nearly 1000 hectares, is a serene mixture of desert and farmland. Adamawa, one of the six states in northeast Nigeria, shares the longest borderline with Cameroon Republic. I AM ATIKULATED BECAUSE ATIKU IS NOT (1 - 10) OF THE RICHEST MEN IN AFRICA BUT STILL HE IS THE HIGHEST EMPLOYER OF LABOUR IN NIGERIA (over 52,000 employees). https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1202885433194891&id=100004203363956 |
Atiku US Case Facts of the Matter By Eyitemi Taire: I actually downloaded the 328 page document on the 4 cases including Atiku and read it all. There are many points of interest. The US govt were concerned about the $40m Atiku brought into US accounts, especially as he was a politically exposed person. Please note that the funds were mostly brought from Panama and British Virgin Islands from the accounts of his business partner at Intel's, Mr Volpi. Surely if Atiku knew his funds were proceeds of corruption rather than the legitimate business of Intel's, he would have left the funds in the tax havens from where they came, and where they would have been safe from the prying eyes of the US govt. Also interesting is that when notice was given to him that his accounts would be closed, he was allowed to transfer the funds, which he did...to the UK, no less! Again I would wonder why a smart 'criminal' such as him would keep his 'proceeds of corruption' in economies where they can be easily probed and seized. The main accusation the US govt made against him was that $2.8m was paid to his accounts by Siemens. But the same accusers admitted that there was a consultancy agreement giving legitimacy to those funds. They also noted that Siemens' books showed purchase of watches worth $170k for 'P' and 'VP', which they ASSUMED to mean OBJ and Atiku. At no point did the report ever confirm the assumption. His 4th wife who operated the accounts in question is a US citizen, who at the time was living in the US. It is interesting that she was made to answer questions and then nothing happened! His lawyer, who is very prominent in those parts, at one point after an account was closed, opened an account for Atiku under his law firm and was a signatory to the account...hardly the actions of a lawyer who knows his client's funds are proceeds of corruption. In case you don't know, he could have gone to jail for that if the money was indeed proceeds of corruption. Again he was asked to answer questions and provide documents, and then nothing! The same report details the profits from Intel across several countries in Africa, which ran into at least a couple of hundred millions per annum. $40m seems like a minor amount in that context. I know that APC people are a bit allergic to thinking through issues before bandying slogans and propaganda around. But any one who has any amount of money in foreign accounts and is Nigerian knows how those funds are treated with extreme suspicion often to the point of shutting the accounts down. In fact when your principal Buhari went to England and said that all Nigerians are corrupt, there was a huge wave of British banks shutting Nigerian accounts down. I'm sure those people who were affected will protest vigorously that their money was not proceeds of corruption. Indeed the banks and the governments doing this know that, otherwise the funds would have been held pending investigation. Please Sir, stop bandying these stories around. They don't help your Principal one bit. On the contrary, they make him look like a desperate man who will do anything and say anything to hold on to power, even though he cannot deliver the minimum results. CAN WE TRUST BUHARI AGAIN? In a few months, Nigerians will head to the polls to cast their votes for their preferred candidates. Prior to this time, precisely 2015, there was an election that brought APC and Buhari to Aso Rock. The caption 'CHANGE' swept a lot of Nigerians off their feet including my humble self, as I vigorously campaigned for APC and Buhari especially with the three pronged promise of fighting corruption which was endemic, improve on the economy, and securing our territories from the untamed Boko Haram insurgency. Personally, I went everywhere market places, churches and anywhere I can see two or three people gathering to preach this Gospel of Change. Three and half years down the line, I leave judgement to sincere and honest Nigerians. Why did I stop supporting this government? That's a million dollar question. Almost all the promises has not been kept. Instead, we have scandals upon scandals. 1. The secretary to the government was involved in a grass contract fraud, he is yet to be prosecuted. 2. Misuse of NHIS funds as alleged Prof Adewole, the culprit is still on his job. 3. Diversion of relief materials meant for the IDPs. No investigation. No culprits. 4. Massive killings of innocent farmers and villagers in Benue, Taraba, Adamawa, Plateau, Zamfara by bandits, marauders and herdsmen. Our President accused Libyans, and yet not one Libyan has been arrested. 5. The government of Dr Goodluck Jonathan was accused of corruption and that the payment of fuel subsidies was a fraud, but same government has gone to pay trillions behind. 6. The flagrant disobedience of court orders on El Zakki Zakki and Col Dasuki. 7. The $25 billion scam revealed by minister of State, Ibe Kachukwu, the report was killed and Maikanti Baru is still walking free. 8. Billions of tax payers money expended on Buhari and his son in London and Germany respectively, when there is no paracetamol in Aso Rock clinic with billions of annual votes. Courtesy of Aisha Buhari. 9. Promotion and reinstatement of Abdul Maina by Buhari of a man sacked by Jonathan for Pension fraud in billions. 10. The indictment of Amaechi of using Rivers State money to fund Buhari's election in 2015. 11. Obono Obla, the chairman of the special presidential Investigation Panel for recovery of Public Property has been accused of possessing a fake WAEC certificate. Till date, no word from the Presidency. 12. The brazen show of shame and electoral frauds in Ekiti and Osun States is yet to be erased from our memory. 13. The destruction and carnage done to the foreign exchange from $187 to $510 before the ingenuity VP Osinbajo brought it to $360 when Buhari was hospitalised in the UK for unknown ailments. 14. Acceptance of perceived corrupt individuals into APC and baptised into sainthood. ie Orji Uzor Kalu, Musiliu Obanikoro, Godwin Akpabio etc It is possible for me to go and on, but I have to stop here not to bore Nigerians. Today, the economy is so bad and Nigerians are finding it difficult to feed themselves or their families . It has been described as the poverty capital of the world. Oh my beloved country, when shall I see the good things God has endowed you with? © Wale Ojo |
Atiku’s 2019 Bid Gets Stronger As Top Legal Luminary Declares Support, Makes Strong Accusations Against Buhari Olisa Agbakoba (SAN), a former president of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has declared his support for the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, even as he accused incumbent president, Muhammadu Buhari, of destroying the economy and dividing the country. The legal luminary, who is also Chairman of the National Intervention Movement (NIM), expressed his disappointment in President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration in an interview with reporters where he described him as “a very bad president”. Image result for atiku and san Agbakoba said, “Any Nigerian with any modicum of intelligence knows that where the president comes from no longer matters. All we want is a good president irrespective of where he comes from. I would not have minded Buhari to continue if he was good. Unfortunately, he has turned out to be a very bad president. That is the problem. He has destroyed the economy. Everything is on the floor. He has divided the country. Everywhere and everything is scattered. Buhari-Sad “So, I cannot give him my own support. I would rather support a person who I think will turn Nigeria around positively. And that requires a lot of thinking. There are so many presidential aspirants on the field. But we need to look very carefully to pick the best. We need to be cautious so that we don’t make another mistake.” Asked who he would support in 2019 out of the many presidential candidates, Agbakoba named Atiku and explained why. He said, “Yes, in spite of all corruption allegations laid against him, there has not been any charge brought against him. “Secondly, he has a broad business vision. He has a deep political experience. He has a pan-Nigerian outlook. He is married to an Igbo woman, married to a Yoruba woman. He is detribalized, even in the employment profile in his companies. He goes for the best regardless of where the person comes from. He understands Nigeria. My money is on him. Whether he will win, I don’t know. But I am only looking at someone who I think will draw from his experience to turn things around. I don’t care if he does eight years. That is the joker. Let us forget this North and South nonsense. Let’s forget it. Let us focus on getting a good president. “Turning Nigeria around has an ideological and structural element. The ideological element is that we have to decide who we want it to be. The constitution is very correct when it declares Nigeria to be a secular state. Enough of this religion. It is killing us. Look at the Miyetti Allah thing or the herders problem as it were, if the leader of Nigeria is crystal clear about saving Nigeria, all this Hajj, Christian, Muslim pilgrimages that are state-sponsored should not be allowed. If I were in that position, I will abolish them. If you want to go for Hajj, look for your money and go. The state will not support you or adopt any religion. Let the state be the state, and let the religious leaders play their role. It will cool things down. “The second important point is restructuring. We have to understand that it can only work if the entire Nigerian nation is behind it.ht now, that is not what we see and a lot of people in the North do not understand it, except Atiku. And I know why. The language of the South is so threatening. You can’t restructure the South alone. I want a strong, united Nigeria. I must persuade my northern brothers that a restructured or decentralization of Nigeria is in the best interest of all of us. Right now, that’s not possible with the way things are going. I do hope that whoever becomes president will understand the emotional elements of the restructuring exercise. http://www.dailyadvent.com/index.php/2018/10/14/atikus-2019-bid-gets-stronger-as-top-legal-luminary-declares-support-makes-strong-accusations-against-buhari/ Cc: Lalasticlala |

Let me start by congratulating President-to-be, Atiku Abubakar, for his success at the recent PDP Primary and I took note of his gracious remarks in his acceptance speech that it all started here. Yes, when it started, it was meant for Atiku to succeed Obasanjo. In the presence of these distinguished leaders of goodwill today, let me say it openly that we have reviewed what went wrong on the side of Atiku. And in all honesty, my former Vice-President has re-discovered and re-positioned himself. As I have repeatedly said, it is not so much what you did against me that was the issue but what you did against the Party, the Government and the country. I took the stand I had taken based on the character and attributes you exhibited in the position you found yourself. I strongly believe that I was right. It was in the overall interest of everyone and everything to take such a position. From what transpired in the last couple of hours or so, you have shown remorse; you have asked for forgiveness and you have indicated that you have learnt some good lessons and you will mend fences and make amends as necessary and as desirable. Whenever or wherever you might have offended me, as a Christian who asks for God’s forgiveness of my sins and inadequacies on daily basis, I forgive and I sincerely advise you to learn from the past and do what is right and it will be well with you. Obviously, you have mended fences with the Party and fully reconciled with the Party. That’s why today, you are the Presidential Candidate of the Party. In addition to appreciating all that the Party has done for you, may I advise you to work together with all those who contested for the Party’s flag with you as a team for your campaign. There are still areas, nationally and internationally, where you have to mend fences and make amends. You will know how to handle what is already out and what may yet be put out by the opposition. But, I am convinced that if you continue with the attitude that brought you here with these distinguished leaders of goodwill, with remorse and contrite heart, the rest of the coast within and outside the country can be cleared. And if there is anything I can do and you want me to do in that respect, I will do. I am sure with the right attitude for change where necessary, and by putting lessons learned by you to work, you will get the understanding, cooperation, support and mandate – all at the national level. With Nigerians voting for you, it will mean that you secure their forgiveness and regain their confidence. It will be with the hope or assurance of a Paul on the road to Damascus Conversion. After all, change and conversion are of man. I believe that with a contrite heart, change is possible in everybody’s life and situation. For me, relatively and of all the aspirants in the PDP, you have the widest and greatest exposure, experience, outreach and possibly the best machinery and preparation for seeing the tough and likely dirty campaign ahead through. From what I personally know of you, you have capacity to perform better than the incumbent. You surely understand the economy better; you have business experience, which can make your administration business-friendly and boost the economy and provide jobs. You have better outreach nationally and internationally and that can translate to better management of foreign affairs. You are more accessible and less inflexible and more open to all parts of the country in many ways. As Pastor Bakare, one-time running mate of the incumbent President said, “You are a wazobia man.” And that should help you in confronting the confrontable and shunning nepotism. As you know, along the road to where you are today, many leaders and ordinary people cooperated and overtly and covertly worked hard. On your behalf, I thank them all. May their coast continue to be expanded. And when you become Nigerian President which, insha-Allah, you will be, remember what we did together in government – we ran an administration by Nigerians for all Nigerians where merit and performance count more than blood relationship, friendship or kith and kin. Although some time and ground have been lost, you should endeavour to start from where we stopped and recover some lost ground, if not time. Please uphold truth, integrity, principles, morality and fight corruption, crimes and insurgency. The fundamental law of the land, our constitution must be scrupulously defended. I make one demand and one demand on you today, I need you to say before God and man that you will always remain irrevocably committed to upholding ALL the provisions of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the whole country will remain your single indivisible constituency. Constitutionalism, popular participation and inclusiveness are pre-conditions for reversing the deficits of the past three and half years. They will ensure abiding faith in our indivisibility, oneness and faith in the survival of all against none. The fundamentals for our development, economic growth and progress are hard and soft infrastructure. Remember to always give adequate places in your administration to our youth and women. All the authorities involved with the preparation, all processes and conduct of the election must ensure that the election is free, fair and credible. Once again, congratulations and I wish you well. My distinguished brothers and leaders of goodwill, thank you for making this happen. I will now count on you to encourage all hands to be on the deck to take Nigeria to the level God has created it to be – autopilot level. Chief Olusegun Obasanjo |

5 reasons Atiku will beat Buhari silly – Shaibu ON OCTOBER 7, 201810:04 PMIN NEWS, VIEWPOINT9 COMMENTS Phrank Shaibu is a Public Communication Consultant who writes from Abuja. In this piece, he discusses five (5) reasons he believes the former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar will “beat Buhari silly” come 2019 election. Former Nigerian vice-President Atiku Abubakar raises his hands after winning the presidential ticket of the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) during the party’s national convention in Port Harcourt, Rivers State on October 7, 2018. Nigeria’s main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has picked Abubakar to challenge President Muhammadu Buhari who is seeking a second term in presidential polls scheduled for February 2019. / AFP PHOTO / According to him, one of the reasons is that President Buhari’s approval ratings have fallen even below average. Atiku Abubakar had, earlier today, been announced as the winner of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, primary held in Port Harcourt on Saturday. Following Atiku’s victory, Shaibu said the focus of his piece is to show why the Wazirin Adamawa is Nigeria’s next president. Read the piece below: “This past week marked a turning point in the nation’s political history. It was Atiku and all the news around his much-anticipated victory at the national convention of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) which ended on Sunday in Port Harcourt. It is also the week that the governing All Progressives Congress (APC) affirmed President Muhammadu Buhari as its candidate for the 2019 presidential election. As it is with any major happening in the nation’s political firmament, Atiku’s victory is the trending story on the internet since the midday of Sunday. His landslide victory has got everyone talking. The focus of this piece is therefore on why he is Nigeria’s next president. Buhari’s Dismal Performance It is no longer news that President Muhammadu Buhari’s approval rating has taken a plunge in the last three years that he has been in office, which informs the belief by political pundits that a run against the president in 2019 posses no political risk. Indeed NOI Polls, the No 1 country specific polling services for Nigeria has returned a damning verdict on President Buhari’s stewardship, with the results of its poll showing that over the last three years, the President’s job performance rating has taken a downward turn for the worse, plummeting from his highest rating of 78 percent and 80 percent recorded in September and October 2015, to 37 percent recorded in August 2016 and more recently 38 percent and 39 percent in the months of February and April 2018 respectively. In more specific terms, the average approval rating of the president in 2018 stands below average at 39.6 percent; with his latest rating of May 2018 at 41 percent. He did poorly in all areas of assessment. So if 2018 holds the truth for 2019, a well grounded candidate like former Vice President Atiku can confront the president with possibility of electoral good show. Atiku’s Intimidating Track Record There is no gainsaying the fact that Atiku Abubakar has been the most prepared Nigerian to steer the ship of state in the last decade. However he hasn’t been able to actualise his ambition because of the disposition of some detractors who feel threatened by the rich credentials that he brings to the table. But this is understandable, because politics taint noble people. So it is with Atiku. After impacting our national life for four solid decades, his impeccable record speaks volume about his public spiritedness and his support for worthy causes. At an age when many still prattled and sought relevance, Atiku bestrode Nigeria like a quintessential colossus, dishing out goodwill, service and altruism. These are undeniable. From his days as a top Customs Man, through his attempt to fly the flag of the defunct Social Democratic Party (SDP), Atiku has gone through the drudgery of grassroots politics to etch his name as Governor-Elect of Adamawa State in 1999. His crowning glory is as Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria between 1999 and 2007. The question remains, if he was not good, how has he been able to stamp a seal of excellence everywhere he went all these years? There is no lying that Atiku’s role as Vice President under President Olusegun Obasanjo has become a reference point on how deputies can be loyal yet effective. Except for cynics, Atiku’s intellect and contributions to the current debate for restructuring and fiscal federalism is incontrovertible. Furthermore, governance is not about making pretences to integrity or about some shadowy fight against graft. It has little to do with age. It has more to do with competence, sensitivity and responsiveness to the plights of the governed. In and out of public offices, the Wazirin Adamawa exemplifies excellence. His mission, as contained in his acceptance speech in Port Harcourt has a huge trunk to do with making Nigeria a better place for all. The emergence of Atiku as the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) was no happenstance. It is consistent with the resolve of members of the party to raise the bar in public service and put Nigeria back on the part of sustainable growth and development. Restructuring and Fiscal Federalism About two years after his tough lecture on the state of the nation, tongues are still wagging. Many Nigerians believe that his standpoint on the vexed issues on restructuring and fiscal federalism are timely wake up call, and will form a major part of the issues that will shape campaigns for the nation’s most coveted political position in 2019. Being that a man of Atiku’s standing was the one canvassing for ‘resource control’ made a lot of difference within the context of power alignments. He has consistently argued that, Nigeria as currently constituted as an entity is rooted in corruption, impunity and injustice and thus must be reconstituted. According to him, political and civic leaders from across the country must come together, discuss, negotiate and make the necessary compromises and sacrifices needed to restructure our federation to make the nation a stronger, more united, productive, and competitive country. His contention is that there is a flaw in the country’s constitution which was why there is a recurring cry of marginalization from every section of the country. Atiku believes that no section of Nigeria can claim correctly that its people are better served by the current structure of our federation. He has since challenged those who against restructuring the country’s federal system as it currently stands, to show an example of countries that are functioning well with a structure such as Nigeria. Whatever one’s arguments are, restructuring will shape the way Nigerians will vote during the Nigeria’s next presidential election. A Robust Manifesto Atiku Abubakar’s blueprint for Nigeria is by far his strongest weapon. The rich manifesto addresses all the challenges currently confronting the country. From defence and security, through job creation, education and infrastructure to poverty alleviation and power, no document from any presidential candidate in the history of Nigeria come close to Atiku’s manifesto in terms of concept, content and creativity. To convince Nigerians he has the vision and the preparation to change the nearly hopeless situation and offer a better deal, Atiku has articulated an ambitious manifesto, arguably one of the most elaborate in Nigeria’s political history. The same edge is seen on the social media where the Wazirin Adamawa is a household name. The import of this is that VP Atiku is by far more popular and more acceptable to the people than any politician seeking to be president in 2019. Transitory Memory of Nigerian Voters Nigerians have a short fuse when it comes to showing understanding with leaders, especially when such leaders are not delivering on electoral promises. I recall how in 2011 former President Goodluck Jonathan was the darling of Nigerians across ethnic and religious divide. He won the 2011 elections with several millions of votes ahead of General Muhammadu Buhari and his running mate, Pastor Tunde Bakare. By 2015, this same Jonathan lost to Buhari and left the scene with so much hatred from the voting public. Buhari who had been rejected at the polls three consecutive times was elected. A Buhari who had been roundly disdained as a bigot, a religious extremist, and an unsellable candidate became the toast of Nigerian voters. This time around, history is about to repeat itself with an Atiku victory at the general election in February.” By Phrank Shaibu *SHAIBU, a Public Communication Consultant writes from Abuja Read more at: https://www.vanguardngr.com/2018/10/5-reasons-atiku-will-beat-buhari-silly-shaibu/ |
gentlegenius:My brother Atiku's profile has been in the public domain before now but those branded zombies no go hear word they must believe what has been regurgitated to them by Buhari and Tinubu Tutors..... They are below; The only people more hopelessly idiotic than Buharists are Tinubuists. They have no mind or brain of their own. They unquestioningly gravitate to wherever Tinubu’s notoriously mercurial political pendulum swings. They support Buhari today ONLY because Tinubu tells them to do so. If Tinubu switches his loyalty from Buhari to Satan right at this moment, they would instantly become Satanists like pre-programmed robots. This is no vituperative hyperbole. These people are brainless automatons. By Farooq Kperogi |
