DaLover: If binis and itshekiris made their submission in Akure, why did the committee go to Benin? as usual you always try to bring down the Nigerdeltan whose only crime is sustaining your country...hell fire awaits your ungrateful soul

Politics › Re: National Dialogue: Who Should Attend? by tomakint: 10:49pm On Oct 28, 2013
In mine own candid opinion, I would prefer the people's vote to nominate 3 representatives per State to be their eyes at the Conference.
Off records: I want Nigeria to do away with this wasteful Presidential System of Government we inherited from the visionless regime of the Murtala/Obasanjo 1979 drafted Constitution! Regionalism is our surest best from a referendum driven Sovereign National Conference! cool

Mutaino7: Yeap there is generational curse. In the bible jacob cursed reuben, simeon and levi...... In later years their descendants. More prefably moses suffered the curse of generational anger(levi). Go once said "I will visit the iniquity of the father even to the fourth generation".
May God in His infinite Mercies grant you the requests of your heart and continue to Bless you. You will live long and enjoy your life in abundance of good things of LIFE (AMEN)! Thank you!
Properties › Re: Bitter Experience Living With Landlords by tomakint: 7:39am On Oct 27, 2013
@Op you have done a good job for digging up a topic as sensitive and real as this for discussions! In as much as we cannot conclude that not all landlords/ladies are the same, it is very important to consider the salient points raised here! Living in the same compound with your landlord/lady is not a wise decision worth considering my own experience was hellish, especially if the landlord/lady are elderly (70 something upwards). They must disturb, use you, nag, frown, fake a smile to make a point!
Politics › Re: video: Gen. Gowon Interviewed Soon After Biafra Surrenders In January 1970 by tomakint: 9:34am On Oct 25, 2013
debetmx: What the bleep are you saying? i never said the January 15, 1966 was an "ibo coup". Even Major. Nzeogwu himself said "Ethnic Consideration" was the reason the coup failed in Lagos
What was Kpera's rank as at January 15, 1966? When was he informed about the coup? Was he among the planners of the coup?
....and where did you see me quoting 'debetmx' said this or that? Get well soon bro, the journey is still ahead and if I have the chance I may dig out ur old posts undecided

@litelov, you are indeed an intellectual with a class! I have fought against my brothers (the Yorubas) here on this hotly debated topic but all to no avail undecided I was branded a 'bastard' for no just cause! It still beats my imagination that some so-called 'intellectuals' here still call that Jan. 15 Coup, 'Igbo Coup', here was a coup (especially the one led by Kaduna Nzeogwu) that had northern officers as partakers, one name that came to mind was one Col. Kpera who eventually became military Gov.

Great Danes and Irish Wolfhounds are world's tallest dogs (both averaged 32 - 36 inches tall at the shoulders).....this one is exceptionally tall. I love Great Danes and St. Bernard!

This is another landmark achievement in the history of the Aviation Sector! Welldone Honourable Minister (but that should not prevent the President's sledge hammer from landing on you if you are found culpable in the N225 million fraud)! This Jonathan's administration is indeed a blessing to Nigeria and Nigerians.

If by 2015 Nigeria remains as ONE and if by 2019 still ONE, then I can declare boldly before ALL that one day in the FUTURE, Nigerians will be grateful to have Goodluck Ebele Jonathan as PRESIDENT!

Wao, this criminal case is long overdue and I pray that the faces of the perpetrators in this ignoble act are all brought to book! Jonathan should use this moment to reverse his negative approval ratings in the camp of the opposition. I am watching cool
Politics › Re: National Conference: Charles Novia Fires Harsh Words At Tinubu by tomakint: 3:52pm On Oct 24, 2013
This is my feeling too about Tinubu's outburst regarding the well marshalled National Conference Jonathanplanned to kickstart next year. I believed Asiwaju spoke too early, he should have taken at least a month of rest after his surgery coupled with the jetlag his system must have been exposed too! The contents and intents coupled with the suggestions given to the National Conference are still ok so far so good. Tinubu should REST very well!

Tuntheycr7: Could dis be real?
If yes, means he sacked Bukola Saraki's boys b dat o
That could mean alot, Newdawn tinz may be
You must be dreaming, Ahmed is being teleguided or let me say 'remote controlled' by Bukola Saraki! Don't be surprised, the sack may be an order from Bukola. Ahmed fear Bukola more than Allah, this I know! For Kwara to be free, the Saraki Dynasty must be destroyed. Kwarans (especially Ilorin indigenes) are under serious bondage.

Truly Jonathan is a man of humility, a man who harbours no hatred in his heart even against those who hated him with passions! I love the maturity of Pastor Tunde Bakare for receiving Kuku, this is good for democracy!

0Willywilly0: Why is it that the only Yorubas Benin people like are the Ondo people,
It has to be so because we share lots of striking semblance, for instance one of the 7 sons of Oduduwa (according to Legend) was the founder of Owo Town in Ondo State and the Olowo of Owo is dressed like the Oba of Benin! Onishere, Alaa, Idanre, Ore share boundaries with Benin! You can even trek from Ikare to some villages in Edo State! Yes, we have a relationship dated back into history!

b1327: asin i dont understand where this op is rolling to,is he suggesting the whole of ondo state to be under lagos ogun etc cos i dont get is write up
In simple English, Ondo has been sustaining the Southwest for too long and Lagos, Oyo and Ogun have been enjoying the Industrial Estates sited there while Ondo is neglected! Oluwa Glass, Okitipupa Oil Palm, Bitumen concentration, Petroleum Oil, Cocoa, Timbers and Ocean! A State with these potentials need not fear the FUTURE!
Politics › Re: National Conference - Akure A Good Candidate As South West Capital by tomakint: 1:44pm On Oct 22, 2013
One good thing you can't take away from Ondo, Ijesha and Ekiti people is their level of steadfastness, we don't condone traitors in our midst as an Ondo indigene I remembered what took place in 1983 when election was rigged in favour of Omoboriowo against Ajasin, I remembered how Fagbamigbe publisher of Awo's books was set ablaze for being a member of NPN, Olu Bajowa an Obj's stooge was nearly lynched but escaped..I can go on and on, I am in total support of you OP. You are a true Ondo son!

Were these not the same people we encircled, blockaded their lands killing them in their hundreds of thousands? Took their investments and called them abandoned properties? Gave them £20 to start life with all over despite the fact that some of them have substantial amounts well over thousands and even millions of pounds in banks? Yet, they never complain but took their destinies in their own hands to be the best! To all my Igbo friends in the house I say CONGRATULATIONS! Indeed, IGBOS are unique

litelov: I am not Nigerian and I have never been to Nigeria but I have personally studied west African history and culture because DNA links my family to Nigeria. So I'm not speaking from any tribal perspective.
I can tell you that what you wrote does not make sense at all.
1) its not a matter of believe! Its a matter of recorded history!
litelov, may you know peace all the days of your life for saying the absolute truth about a 'war of extermination against the Igbos'!

I love the new revenue sharing formula and in addition the federal government must appoint an auditor to checkmate the reckless spending of our lawmakers and for RMAFC to review downward the self-apportioned bloated salaries and allowances of our Lawmakers (Senators and House of Rep members).
