Saint Malachy (circa 1094 – 1148), an Irish Prelate and Reformer, greatest of the successors of St. Patrick, born in Armagh, was ordained a priest in 1119. He was acclaimed to have restored ecclesiastical discipline in Ireland, unified the church there, and brought about the use of the Roman liturgy instead of the Celtic. He was canonized (declared a Saint) in 1199. He was the first Irish Saint to be canonized by a Pope. Saint Malachy was said to have some supernatural powers and the gifts of prophecies. In 1139 while on a pilgrimage to Rome to visit the Pope, he got a revelation from God where he saw 112 Popes that will reign in succession till the Great Tribulation, heralding the End Time as revealed in the Book of Revelations in the Bible. According to his predictions, Pope Benedict XVI is the 111th that means the current Pope is the 112th, hence signaling the last Pope before the Tribulation. He even stunned his followers by giving accurate predictions of the Popes he talked about, for example, he named Benedict XV as ‘religion devastator de popular’ and legend have it that during his reign (1914 – 1922), the Christian population were decimated by almost 25 million especially during the exploits of the Bolshevik Party (which later metamorphosed into Communist Party) in Russia. He also said something about Pope John Paul II, the one he named “the Sun’s full eclipse” and true to that, the Pope was born in the year 1920 when there was total eclipse of the Sun and also died in 2005 another year of eclipse. Saint Malachy predicted the last Pope as ‘Peter the Roman’, he said that during the reign of this Pope, the Roman Catholic Church will be subjected to it’s worst persecution, the City of Seven Hills will be destroyed and the Dreadful Judge will judge the people and the end will come. http://www.bibleprobe.com/last10popes.htm |
Tinubu is the G.O.A.T (Greatest Of All Thieves)! If only the certified dolts, who happens to be his praise singers (especially my homeboy 'payless' ![]() |
I have always maintained that, corruption, the hydra-headed monster in Nigerian politics is not a PDP thing but Nigerian Nemesis since time immemorial and I don’t see what PDP is doing wrong now that APC will do right. In actual fact, I don’t believe in partisan politics working in Nigeria (even though the Jonathan’s administration has done a lot to convince me, yet, I remained not convinced)! It’s a system that embraces wastefulness and encourages corruption on a large scale. So, whatever PDP is guilty of, other parties are also not guiltless. Looking at our current system of government (Presidential System of Democracy), one would wondered aloud to himself or herself how on earth we keep wasting so much (trillions of naira, right from 1999 till date) on over 12,000 political appointees (from the President’s bloated cabinet down to local governments wards’ councilors) that are not really delivering the goods every year and yet we are busy test-running with different parties (as if they are the solutions) the truth is, palliative measures offered by past administrations should not be confused with panacea to our myriads of problems! This is not considering the gross corruption going on in the Civil Service Commission unnoticed. There must be a change in the system of government first, before there can be a meaningful change in the polity, and this is why we all should SUPPORT THE SOVEREIGN NATIONAL CONFERENCE OF THIS ADMINISTRATION – THE ONLY WAY FORWARD I KNOW OF! The 1999 Constitution must be thoroughly reviewed, no immunity should cover corrupt serving political appointees/public officers irrespective of their status, revenue allocation must be thoroughly reviewed, the power concentrated at the centre must be broken down and decentralized to the zones, states, local governments and wards, we must henceforth develop a benchmark for the forthcoming National Census that must be the yardstick for future ones, the excesses of President, Ministers, Governors, Legislators, Permanent Secretaries and other top government functionaries must be curbed to a reasonable state, the private sector should be empowered more to tackle the spate of unemployment in the country, if all these can be tackled once and for all, the rest is history. My Point! |

sobastical: This can't be true, how do they expect thief to catch thief......pathetic I say...For your info, that's just the way it is in the world; 'Ole lo mo ese ole n to lori apata' (only a thief can follow the trail of another thief's footprint on a rock)! Al-Mustapha I repeat will do a good job because he knows so many secrets of these 'untouchables' who are robbing us blind. |
aaniagu: All those accusing festus wil regret it come 2016. Of a truth, the north have the greatest say in nigeria. If it was a hausa man dat said all that, do u think he wil be removed?Jonathan knows what he is doing, don't be surprised he might be the one that influenced Odimegwu's resignation just to placate the North because we need Jonathan come 2016 to finally right this wrong of our true Census figure! Trust me, the North won't get away with this, this time around! |
Obasanjo was boasting shortly after he was sworn in 1999 that the Ajaokuta Rolling Steel Mill will be the pride of the nation 'very soon' unfortunately, after his usual phony funding and 8 years of nothingness, Ajaokuta refused to work and here comes a man, humble, unassuming, good-natured whom many have written off as a misfit performing wonders all over the sectors including a rolling steel mill that will add 700,000metric tonnes annually to the manufacturing sector. GEJ is one-of-a-kind! |
Although the Op refused to give the SOURCE of this news but there is a FACT stated here which is, all is not well with APC (Tinubu's investment) in Ekiti State. |
How I wish this is TRUE, a man like Al-Mustapha will bring many 'untouchables' to their knees....this is the type of man needed at such an organization! The truth is Jonathan needs to confront corruption with iron hand if he must stand the test of time, although he is really trying and has achieved a lot but he needs to raise the bar when it comes to fighting corruption. |
kingoflag: Nigga STFU! Even Chad is is on the same council even as it was admonished for having Kid-Soldiers fight adult battles, does that mean Chad is working? Thats how you dummies took to the airwaves to scream GEJ's inclusion on the Times Man of the year list as a sign that he was "Working".You have always been a FOOL that's why you are called KINGOFOOL buy a better brain, this one you got is faulty son! |
Pattey: Does Nigeria know the usefulness of a UN Security council seat? You just raised a valid point here but I can bet no democratic government in Nigeria dares raise eyebrow against these superpowers only the military in the moulds of Murtala, Buhari and Abacha that can dare them. |
As much as I respected his gut on the past injustices rendered to past head counts in the country, I felt he allowed his emotions to take a better part of him by being too loose, however, I am too sure the next occupier of that post will do a superb job come 2016. |
greatdonmikel: . You must be very stupid for making this statement. It is a serious matter. Kwarans are killed every year for sacrifice you are talking about listing name. You are a foolish foolYou better leave that sleeper alone, the Saraki Dynasty will definitely perish for all their evil deeds on the innocent ones, it was even confirmed that this son he left behind is damn too ruthless in the game. |

Demdem: Ingrate students. Were you once a student at all? your line of reasonings on this forum is that borne out of warped view against positive reasoning! I doubt if you have a positive belief in yourself in the real world. Young man, time is going. ASUU don't give a damn about the students, I was once a student and this I know! @Topic, kudos to NANS! Kudos to Yinka. |
When he came onboard he met 13 Silo complexes he made it 33 by adding 20 more now the storage has moved from 311,000metric tonnes to 1.3million metric tonnes just within 2 years and this is the same man they called all sorts of derogatory names Jonathan may eventually be the BEST PRESIDENT IN THE HISTORY OF THIS COUNTRY. FACT: HE HAS REVOLUTIONIZED THE AGRICULTURAL SECTOR ![]()
|
Let the awareness start right in the camp of the enemies (AbdulFatah Ahmed and Bukola Saraki belong to the G7 marauders) I am expecting Jonathan's posters to flood Niger, Sokoto, Kano, Jigawa, Adamawa and Rivers States for these saboteurs who called themselves governors (of these states) to believe the manliness of Goodluck Ebele Jonathan! |
@Boladez, why not learn to take things easy in life, I still maintain that the caption indicates 2weeks, why not allow the 2weeks to lapse before venting your anger unnecessarily I think in this scenario, the earthworm is wiser than the goat! |
The guy with the red cap in the first picture looks very much like eggheaders.
Definitely not far from the truth kai Sunny_bobo your comedy na first class rated....
