I don't know why some clowns here have turned into perpetual revisionists! Ojukwu never wanted war but peace, Biafrans didn't fire the first shot, Nigerian Troops (under First Division, Commanded by Col Mohammed Shuwa) did in the early hours of 6th July, 1967 at Garkem (a town about 49 kilometres from Ogoja in Cross River State)! Ojukwu remains a HERO for fighting the injustice of his era and his suggestion for a confederacy then remains relevant in the scheme of things today!

Katsumoto: To ensure that development spreads to all parts, I believe that various areas should be strategic capitals. Lagos of course will be economic capital, Ogun industrial, Ekiti/Ondo - academic, Ife/Osun - Spiritual, Ibadan - administrative, etc.
Brilliant suggestions, but you and I know that should we split today the battle for a Yoruba Country capital will be source fro Ibadan, Abeokuta and Akure that is if a little 'kiriji war' will not occur between leaders!
Politics › Re: The Many Problems With Nigeria And Why President Jonathan Should Be Respected! by tomakint(op): 8:11am On Oct 21, 2013

/\ /\ /\ another issue I will love them to discuss extensively is the 'Middle-Beltans' especially replacing the 'NorthCentral' with Middle-Belt! The present Middle-Belt can be divided into; Middle-Belt West namely; southern Kebbi, Niger, Kogi, Kwara, Benue and southern Kaduna while Middle-Belt East shall consist of; Nasarawa, Plateau, Taraba, Adamawa, southern Gombe, southern Borno and southern Bauchi! With this, the myth about a monolithic north will be finally laid to rest!

Once upon a time, a particular race were targeted for extermination, a brave soldier, Lt.Col Ojukwu (of blessed memory) took the case upon himself to report the plight of his people to the appropriate quarters (Gowon and his Hausa-Fulani Masters) they pretended to do something but the pogrom continued for 5 good months the aftermath led to the Civil War (an extension of Murtala and gangs pogrom on the Igbos)after the war, the Igbos were totally emasculated but today the Igbos have been vindicated!
Christianity Etc › Re: Why Did God Reject Cain's Sacrifice? by tomakint: 11:20am On Oct 20, 2013
When we give ourselves and all to God for His use every other thing we need to be somebody shall be randomly supplied this I know. But the problem here is, mankind find it extremely difficult to serve God this way but would rather serve and honour The Creator's creations except for few among mortals! So, in Cain's case, it could be deduced that he already harbours hatred against his brother, Abel before they appear before God with their sacrifices!
Politics › Re: Survey About Goodluck Ebele Jonathan by tomakint: 2:45am On Oct 20, 2013

Politics › Re: Proposed National Conference: A Case For Kwara State by tomakint: 11:40pm On Oct 19, 2013
Katsumoto: The people of Ilorin and Kwara in general should decide where they want to be. Afterall, Ketu, Popo and other Yoruba.
In any case, the emirs of Ilorin are more Yoruba than Fulani. The emir is only fulani in title.
Katz, you may be right to an extent on your last sentence, but when I was in Ilorin, I got to know that the Emirate thing has gone too deep in politics that it will take a revolution to have an Oba in Ilorin, Lawal tried it but died mysteriously!
Politics › Re: Proposed National Conference: A Case For Kwara State by tomakint: 11:24pm On Oct 19, 2013
Enegito: you must be fool to say dat.which heart has he spoken?idiot
You lack the basic cognitive skills bequeathed to mankind by God, yes, the OP spoke the real truth and the hearts of many must you display your boorish attitude here by attacking vado? Ilorin is purely a Yoruba place betrayal between brothers paved way for the Fulanis to occupy that land and up till date an Emir is King in a Yorubaland shocked shocked I thought you will worry more on this but you preferred to attack?

peppy luv: Don't live ur life in a just and upright way, keep waiting for prophecies that will lead you to end time cuz u don't know a man's world comes to an end when he dies and that time you do not know!

Lunatics are on their way to derail the topic and turn it to another catholic bashing thread but I am so ready!

Christianity Etc › Drinking: What Does The BIBLE Says? by tomakint(op): 4:31pm On Oct 19, 2013
First thing first, Bible have always preach modesty in all our ways as Christians, these days, I have seen many Christians frowning at other Christians because of their indulgence, if a bottle of alcohol (Star, Guinness, Wine, Gulder etc) is ok for you why not go for that and be fine if you can't take those sweetened ones like Coke, Fanta, Maltina etc Excesses of alcohol is what makes you look like a wretched before God, the Bible never talks about total abstinence but modicum of control in all our ways! In some Christian circles, if you touch a bottle of Guinness, you are automatically a 'sinner' undecided Children of God, over to you!
