N75? This type of topic (expensive joke) would have generated more steam if posted on an April Fool's Day. No one will take it seriously on the screens of online news and pages of newspapers except truly implemented in the real sense at gas stations across the Nation! |
Paul John: Enough jobs are awaiting them in the village.Enough jobs in the villlage? Like........ |
Most times the 'God says people' are the desperate ones! If you have no feelings initially for him and all of a sudden you see yourself developing some feelings for him, it's either you've just been scammed or you're just being naive. Remember, the journey is a LIFELONG one! You better go for counselling before it is too late. |
Not good for the 'faint-hearted' it can lead to stroke! Good for the 'brave-hearted' it makes them better risk takers. Lesson: Love with your head first, if the other person appears sincere and your spirit is in tune then put your heart into it but pls do with caution! |
mike404: We're going to vote general ayatollah buhari and co out come 2015 INSHA GOD!You can bet Christianity has taken its rightful place in the political history of this country and that has come to stay! |
Demdem: if the bolded is the case then ur earlier post was totally uncalled for and unnecessary. Ur assessment about ACN also is ur opinion and holds no water IMO. The odds has always been there for Mimiko to win the election in Ondo ( he didnt perform terribly bad and coupled with the Power of Incumbency, it was a sure thing). That shouldn't be washed away. ACN lost Ondo ( a state they are just starting to infiltrate) and u automatically feel the party has started to dwindle in the SW. U also feel because few LG were lost in lagos then the end of Tinubu is near. my friend, u know nothing about politics. It seems to me u believe that if victory isnt 1005 then it isnt victory. Sori bro, this is democracy and there will always be dissenting voices and stance. lagos isnt an exceptionYou need to accept the factb that no empire lasts forever and that is what Tinubu has succeeded in turning ACN into, exactly the problem of other ACN controlled States, life is becoming ubearable for the common people is this what Awolowo's Action Group or UPN was doing to the common man despite the fact that Tinubu claimed that his ACN is fashioned along Baba's Awo parties!!! |
......and the next thing you hear around is,"Islam is a Religion of PEACE"!!! But What peace is Islam offering to the whole world? ![]() |
ABUJA, NIGERIA (BosNewsLife)-- At least hundreds of residents began fleeing northeastern Nigeria Sunday, October 21, after three days of Islamic attacks against churches and other targets left dozens dead. Among the churches hit by suspected fighters of the militant Boko Haram group since Thursday, October 18, was an evangelical congregation in Nigeria's troubled Borno State. Reporters said gunmen of attacked the building of the Church of Brethren in Nigeria in Atagara village in the Gwoza area, killing at least two people. The entire church was reportedly set ablaze as part of a wider campaign in the state that also involved killing a Chinese engineer and three colleagues. CHURCH TORCHED At least one church was also torched by militants in the northeastern city of Potiskum, where at least 31 people were killed in the last three days, including one or more policemen, according to refugees and reporters. Most churches were closed Sunday, October 21, as worshipers kept away for fear of attack, residents said. "Christian residents stayed home for safety reasons," French news agency AFP quoted resident Bukar Kolo as saying. "A church was also burnt in the attack and people are afraid to go for Sunday church service for fear of possible attack," he said. It was not immediately clear how many Christians were among the dead and injured in Potiskum, but witnesses said that besides the church many other properties had been burned. HIGHER DEATH TOLL? Residents said the toll could be higher than the reported 31 killed in Potiskum, as some relations had taken some bodies from the streets for burial. Boko Haram, which means 'Western Education is a Sin' has been fighting for an Islamic state in especially central and northern Nigeria, where it has demanded that Christians leave the area. The militant campaign and the military response are believed to have left more than 2,800 people dead since 2009. Nigeria, Africa's most populous nation and largest oil producer, is divided between a mainly Muslim north and predominantly Christian south. The government has come under pressure to improve security, though soldiers were seen patrolling the streets of the crisis-hit areas. http://www.bosnewslife.com/24230-breaking-news-nigeria-militants-attack-church-and-other-targets-dozens-killed |
onatisi: i really feel touched when i see this guy like this knowing the pains his father and mother will be having an the ridicule his children and grandchildren will be subjected to everydayYou can imagine what must be going in the hearts of his parents, it's pathetic Charly Boy has taken what used to be like jokes i those days to an extreme level which is quite strange and disturbing. ambrosini593: Oh my GodDear Lord, Deliver someone from his 'fairy tales' lifestyle before something funny happens to him. What in the world is wrong with this grandfather now ? |
Within four years he amassed some trophies that would make any coach in the business grin with envy; he had won 14 trophies, something that will take some coaches their entire career to achieve. His first assignment with Barcelona puts him in the history book of FOOTBALL; he won six trophies out of available six, perhaps an evergreen record for life! His victory over Manchester United in the 2008/09 Champions League Finals in Rome made him the ‘Youngest man to coach a Champions League Winning Team’! He is still respected in the ‘sphere of good and tasteful football’, where football played according to Barcelona under the tutelage of Guardiola is so tasteful you feel like tasting it, that was the era of Guardiola! However, he made some ‘terrible miscalculations’, yes you heard me right, ‘miscalculations’! I have always believed that, selling or ‘forcing out’ of the following players; Giovani dos Santos, Samuel Eto’o, Bojan Krkić, Yaya Touré, and buying the following; Alexis Sánchez, Zlatan Ibrahimovic were disservices to F.C Barcelona. I don’t know what he was thinking when he saw ‘potentials’ in an Alexis Sánchez but failed to realize the efficacy and the importance of a Bojan Krkić and the same can be said of the unfortunate swapping of a sluggish Zlatan Ibrahimovic compared to the fleet footed and goal-poaching Samuel Eto’o, what he intends to achieve with that crazy arrangements will remain a puzzle to us except, he choose to ‘elaborate on it’. His continued featuring of fidgety and clueless Isaac Cuenca and Alexis Sánchez while benching better players like Tello and Pedro Rodriguez when it was clear they were out of injuries cost us the league and Champions League – It’s time I talk turkey on this! As far as I am concerned (if I am wrong I will like to be corrected with facts), Alexis Sánchez remains the worst player in the history of F.C Barcelona to wear that ‘privileged No 9 jersey’ not even my Bojan Krkić will waste all those golden chances that came his way, especially during both legs with Chelsea in the 2011/12 Semi final stage of the Champions League. Besides his sold and bought players, he failed to realize that under a Frank Rijkaard, our defense line was well fortified. Guardiola attempts in scuttling that arrangement of Rijkaard is still reflecting even under a Tito Vilanova’s command. Guardiola may be ‘lucky’ to win 14 trophies within 4 years, I don’t think it will be wise for Tito to follow suit. 2012/13 season looks promising but Barca’s complacency at the defense line is giving a lot to worry about, for now David Villa, Lionel Messi and perhaps a Pedro Rodriguez remains the best scorer we had, of course, the most ‘reliable’ of these three is Lionel Messi. Now let’s compare these three to what our most virulent rival, Real Madrid has; Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Gonzalo Higuaín – they are simply better off. I am yet to see players in the mould of Yaya Touré and Rafael Márquez in the current F.C Barcelona squad, this portends danger. Carles Puyol is aging, he needs a stand by ‘substitute’ in case of emergency. No doubt, he has been a fantastic player and a “Camp Nou Legend any time, any day. Leave it or take it, if January should come and go without getting some good and tall players (instead of the average-heighted men we had) at the defense line, let’s bid the League and any other competitions good bye! No doubt, Pep Guardiola is an achiever but he allowed his ego to play on his judgments, on this one he missed the mark! He failed to realize that millions of fans are involved emotionally in the business of the game, hence he fell out. I am cock-sure, if Barcelona had gotten to the final of the 2011/12 Champions League and probably won it, he would still be in charge of F.C Barcelona no doubt. I hope Tito Vilanova will learn from the costly mistakes of his former boss and do something fast, the league is still young with lots of other competitions to fight for; a word is enough for the wise! |
Demdem: Even if they fade till oblivion, whats my business with that? Do u also agree with him that Fashola has been rejected just because ACN lost some LG elections there. Answer that first, it will assist me in accessing ur state of sanity. If you are willing to argue intellectually you will enjoy me, but if ready to fight dirty, you will just end up hating yourself! Fashola is ok to me, unfortunately with the way ACN is going about politics under the tutelage of their thuggish boss, Bola Tinubu, I am afraid the smear may be on Fashola soonest! I don't concede that Fashola has been rejected but the fact remains that with the embarrasment ACN recieves in the just concluded Ondo Gubernatorial elections, I am afraid there is an ominous cloud gathering already! ACN should watch out, listen to people all around in ACN-controlled states. Trust me Tinubu is running an Empire and that Empire is favouring him and his gangs, don't be decieved ACN is dying! |
Demdem: Fool, so because ACN lost some LG in lagos, it automatically mean that fashola has been rejected by lagosians right?Stop sleeping while standing, ACN is fading gradually! All you need to know hav been supplied by 'thelastpope' ignorance is indeed a disease, get well soon! |
Sometimes I wonder how a tribe that was marked for 'extermination' about 45 years ago can pick up there pieces and still bounce up to the top in commerce and industries, estates and transportations! Ndigbos have not ceased to amaze me with their business savvy and prowess! In that war, a new spirit was given to the Igbos to go conquer not only the business landscape of Nigeria but of the world, hence, giving birth to the new catchphrase, 'any country you go and u no find Ibo man there, comot'! |
Gowon will go down as one of those 'arrogant rulers' Nigeria had. He allowed himself to be used and because of his innate ambitions to rule Nigeria at all cost there4 2 millions soul must 'go'. He tot he can bribe God by organizing prayers even though his home state is under 'judgment'! Definitely, Gowon is not a Christian in deed, he is still blaming Ojukwu till 2moro leaving out his own major part-subverting the Aburi Accord! Gowon is a bloody hypocrite who wants to die with blood in his hands! |
Smart jeezy: I don't know the one to pick out of my 12 girlfriends....Stick with the one you are most compatible with but if in doubt, go for counselling! |
As the good people of Ondo State PATIENTLY wait for the final results from the 3 local governments, I congratulate them for a job well done by returning Iroko back to Alagbaka Quarters and wish them all GOODLUCK in the next 4 years! |

Thank God I am proud to b a Yoruba man with lots of luv for my other compatriots, unfortunately you stil harbour the same hatred your grandfather (Akintola) had for a progressive tribe (Igbos), indeed ur case is irredeemable, I can't help you. Keep scamming and hating as usual! |
abouzaid: Did anybody notice that dayokanu=alh harem. Follow policewoman postsIs that so? I'l advise her to watch out for that scammer o, Dayokanu is a lost soul looking for his identity, sincerely he deserves our sympathy! So the psychopath is the same as Alh Harem? Na waooo |
dayokanu: I took after Akintola. That must mean I am an Omo OkoI must hav struck a chord! Thank God I am Tomakint! I am not a tribalist like DAYOKANU who sees nothing good in other tribes! |
dayokanu: The bastardd ashamed of his fatherland that choose to all himself YorubaNo you got it wrong its the other way round, your grand father (Chief S.L Akintola) was the bastaard that sold himself into the hands of the Abokis and you know what came out of the bargaining, so you understand why I said you are the real BASTAARD now? He (S.L Akintola hated the Igbos, now you have taken after him) good job kid, but remember where the wickedness of your grandfather landed him? |
MegaMan2020: Thank you General Gowon for slapping the taste out of the Igbo cannibals mouths lool. The poor losers are still crying to this dayYou are not a WISEMAN at all!!! Policewoman: Coward. Come out and say it in the open and see if your head will still be on your neck.Stop wasting your precious time replying that 'thing' he is not worth it! If in doubt, just check out his many posts on this forum, you will know what I am talking about!!! |
Paul John: http://leadership.ng/nga/articles/38019/2012/10/20/ill_ever_be_grateful_supporters_one_nigeria_gowon.htmlThat's the problem with the clown, Gowon(Pretender in Command)! Just tell me what is United in this UNION Now!!! Nigeria's leaders can be irritating most times, he just dont want to accept that he was a total failure, the man looks more like a CHAMELEON to me!!! |
Rencent: . H. Hmm True Talk bro . I just came back with my Family from iceland.but its only 2 hours day of darkness.the Place is a Must visit ooReally, but I was talking about my experience in July 2004, it was marvelous,Iceland land of the 'Volcanoes, Geysers, natural warm spring during winter and cold water during summer. Yeah 2 hours is possible but during my time it was 4 hours. Next time pay a visit to the 'Blue Lagoon' you gonna love it. Good job!!! |
Onegai: And why are you shocked, lol? I know 3 separate cases of sisters fighting over the same man. One moved with her elder sis' hubby (they're still together), the other married her younger sis's toaster and the last 2 sisters were fighting over a guy who was toasting me while keeping his options very very open (I bailed). In each case, the men were charmers and cheaters. What! you lost me completely there! What is this world turning into, women can b dessperate attimes |
She find herself in this shameful position for stealing, but what happens to those stealing the 'real money' in this country? How I wish the same jungle justice meted out to this woman can be extended to those 'rogues in power', see where the condition of the country has pushed this one to now~! Truly, I don't support stealing but a graduate jobless for 5, 6, 7 years can turn into anything if the pressure from the environment keeps piling up on him/her just to survive! And this woman will become a mother or wife one day? What a LIFE!!! |
This lady you are seeing her picture is an alleged leader of an armed-robber gang, she was nabbed and stripped naked by in Abuja- Nigeria. According to the source, they were five in number, bu she ran out of luck as onlookers swooped down on them and vented jungle justice, in their attempts to rob another woman. This incident happened at the AREA 11 TRAFFIC LIGHT where they were held by traffic as they were been chased. Among the team of five, she was the only one who was captured as the others were able to escape.Inside the ash coloured Nissan Sunny were loads of ATM cards, Passports of various persons, her bag contained “many phones” an eyewitness said. |
QueenAw: Relationships consists of a whole lot. Trust, love, respect, etc. Like a string, once broken it can never be the same again. You could patch it back up, tie it back etc. But the string is no longer the same, it will become bent, shorter etc. You could try, but things can never be the same. That's a nice one from you there Queen, you really dealt well with the topic, I like that! |
Onegai: I'd have said that, but I guess people can add pressure to the erring spouse's begging n make you take him back. A lady brought her niece to come help her in Lagos plus go to school. That was how niece started acting like wife to her hubby, in front of her. Neighbours began to gossip, so she got fed up, caused a scene. Hubby came and threw her and her kids out, and told niece to stay. 5 yrs of nacking niece n some other chicks, hubby came back to beg (with family, gifts and of course Pastor). She took him back last year. I don't know how a human being can treat another like that and she forgives him. There's no demon in the world that will possess you to forget your duties and be so shameless. Then expecting forgiveness and demanding that you be accepted back with love. Wow.I was jolted after reading and still in shock now, just tell me that didn't happened! Ok? |
I am not too sure if what is obtainable in this world is anything to go by, but I have seen over the years and from events that have happened in many 'broken homes' that winning back a lost partner is almost a failure and most times if successful, the probability that it will still head for the rocks is high seems to be the reality on ground, why? |
