To those in Ogba axis, I was just informed that you can register or validate the processing of the 2011 registration of PVC you did at Ojodu Grammar school, Ojodu; Anifowoshe Primary school complex, Anifowoshe, Ikeja every week day from 9am to 3pm. INEC is frustrating Southern electorates just go there and register for PVC or validate the old ones.

2019: PDP must not ignore Atiku-ex-minister

Ahead of the 2019 Presidential election, a former Minister and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has called on the leadership, members and supporters of the party to look in the direction of former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar in its search for a credible candidate to fly the flag of the party.

The ex-Minister who does not want his name in print because of his relationship with other Presidential aspirants on the party’s platform also challenged the PDP to take into consideration, the profiles of all contenders for the sole Presidential ticket, stating that while governing a state provides a good experience for a shot at the highest office, international exposure and knowledge of the workings of the economy should not be overlooked.
According to him, the party must not permit the emergence of a flag bearer who lacks the clout to command the respect of world leaders, especially as it relates to getting international support for government’s policies and programmes.

“There is no doubt that the President Muhammadu Buhari administration has failed both domestically and internationally. I think part of the problem this government is facing is the obvious lack of knowledge of the economy by the President and this is giving all of us a cause for concern.
“Today, we have tested leaders who have indicated interest in the job (Presidency) but we must carefully identify who amongst them, fits the kind of President we are looking out for. Atiku to me is the man and if you ask me why, I will tell you more,” he told Vanguard exclusively.

Pressed to reveal reasons for his position, the ex-minister who served in the cabinet of Nigeria’s immediate past President, Goodluck Jonathan, had this to say: “I have heard a lot of arguments on how we can defeat the APC in the next election. Regardless of what anybody may say, I believe one of the things that facilitated the victory of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo as President in 1999 was his friendship and exposure to the international community. Atiku is unarguably the man with that kind of reach today from the pack of those eyeing the job.

“Let me use this opportunity to correct an impression that Buhari will sweep the polls if he is fielded against Atiku. This is a figment of imagination because if you talk about touching the lives of people, the former Vice Presidents have certainly done more for Nigerians than Buhari. Atiku has in his employ many Nigerians, cutting across south and north of the Nigerian divide. Buhari can only beat Atiku if Nigerians allow the polls to be rigged. So, what are they talking about? Aren’t you aware that even though he is a private person today, he holds court regularly with representatives of advanced nations of the world regularly?” he asked.

The PDP chieftain was apparently referring to the meeting earlier in the week of the Wazirin Adamawa with Bernhard Schlagheck, the German Ambassador to Nigeria who paid him (Atiku) a courtesy visit at his private residence.
Although details of the visit were kept away from the media, the two in the words of the ex-Vice President discussed “A broad range of issues including Nigeria-German relations, democracy and how the Nigerian economy can benefit from German investors.”

Inasmuch as I am against the partial and unbiased INEC, I think Southern Nigerians are not serious in registering for PVC. Do they need to be forced to get their PVC, if they really want to kick out Buhari?

While the most illiterate northerners are registering en-masse to get their PVC. The most educated southerners only bark on social media without having PVCs.
You Southerners are your own nightmares due to paucity of necessary information. Who told you the Southerners are being forced to get their PVCs? Did you know how cumbersome this demonic INEC is making the exercise to be like down South? Did you know that up North PVCs are handed out to people almost in their homes? Capturing machines are as effective as ever up North while here in South they keep changing venues for PVC registrations like baby diapers without fore knowledge to prospective electorates. In the North, even Emirs have enough PVCs to share out to almajiris up North and you are here blaming Southerners who are spending hours at different centers just to get their PVCs yet this miserable, compromised INEC keeps frustrating their efforts. If it will take burning down this Country should that demonic thing be voted back into power then I am in. INEC or no INEC, Buhari will be kicked back to Daura in 2019.

This is beyond the party anyone supports. The decadent of government institutions through manipulation of systems to favour one group against the other is the death of democracy.

There was a country indeed!!
This is the real deal right there I am of the opinion that many youths have been bewitched to assume all is well not knowing that there is an ongoing planned conspiracy between INEC and the FG to rig the elections for Buhari. I was discussing with a party Chieftain yesterday and when I raised the issue he just laughed it off assuring me that Buhari and his APC goons will definitely not survive it of they dare rig the elections. I am too sure that when campaign starts, APC will be steamed to silence because they don't have any meaningful slogan to campaign with.

My bros i'm in Lagos.

I believe the north should be given a chance to complete at least 8 years of ruling the country. But this does not mean bringing the worst and inefficient dullard from the north to rule Nigeria. There are good and decent northerners like Alhaji Atiku who have proven themselves in numerous positions in the past. They best part is that Atiku understands the diversity of Nigeria and uses it as a strength rather than a weakness of Nigeria.

Unlike Buhari, who has very poor understanding of the diversity of Nigeria and believes diversity is a bad thing and therefore he creates crises all over the country out of his poor understanding of what governance is about. See what he has done to the national economy because he does not understand that if the economy is good, it is good for everyone. We have to save Nigeria from the catastrophe that has befallen the country called Buhari. We know he is determined to rig the 2019 elections. So everyone will be ready to vote and publish the results of their polling booth as soon as its announced to a central telephone number where we can track how the people actually voted.

Atiku must begin to build a national coalition quickly. Buhari is banking on everyone not doing anything until its too late.

The Grand Conspiracy Within INEC That Must Be Resisted By True Democrats!

INEC is meant to be an unbiased umpire in the game of elections, but as it stands today judging from cloned websites all over the whole place from INEC, you can tell that INEC is up to something fishy. Talking about the necessary voter's registration exercise across the Nation, you can tell that already there is a grand conspiracy at play where numbers of voters  up North (especially Northwest) have been given a bloated figure that can easily erase whatever votes that can be scooped from Southeast and Southsouth in the coming elections. One more thing Nigerians must be wary of is the way and manner prospective electorates are not encouraged to register in the Southern part whereas it was alleged that underage electorates have already registered up North, also Emirs were accused of having access or being in custody of mass supply of PVCs which are to be distributed right from the palace to their prospective electorates there.

This is the crux of the matter and should be a cause for concern among well meaning Nigerians because we have a biased INEC on ground who is willing to rig systematically at all cost for Buhari and his poverty-spreading party, APC, by all means possible. They must be firmly resisted by all strength within us. The bogus figures claim assigned to Northwest must be checked. The sudden appearance of many Chad and Nigeriens citizens all over Nigeria wielding Nigerian PVCs must be firmly resisted and questions must be asked. The underage registration must be resisted. The deliberate malfunction of most of the capturing machines down South unlike the "functioning ones" this worthless INEC body spread all over the North is a deliberate attempt to disenfranchise Southern prospective electorates.

INEC had a Northern Chairman in the person of Jega and now Buhari came in, he is still fielding another Northerner, Mahmud, as INEC Chairman, even his terrible cousin, Madam Zakari, whom he wanted dearly as INEC chairman is still within INEC despite due for retirement as one of the high ranking commissioners. Nigerians must stand up to their future and begin to ask questions now before it is too late. Buhari and INEC are on a mission to enslave us further. Buhari is killing Nigerians and any attempt to force the dictator and inept Buhari on us all will be firmly resisted by all Nigerians. Buhari should retire back to his farm to go and rest in 2019!

PDP and other registered political parties, human right agencies and well meaning and influential Nigerians who are true born Democrats should take note.

CHIBUZO UKAIBE and ANAYO ONUKWUGHA, write on the intrigues arising from the recent declaration of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar last week to vie for the presidential ticket of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Port Harcourt, Rivers State while meeting with the State governor, Nyesom Wike.

On March 27, 2018, former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, was in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital for a meeting with stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

But this was more than the regular party meeting. After the fanfare and glamour that trailed his arrival, Atiku, who last December, left the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for the PDP, declared his ambition to run for President on the platform of the leading opposition political party, during the 2019 general election. His declaration was planned. The former vice president was accompanied on the visit by some party chieftains including, former PDP National Chairman, Dr. Okwesilieze Nwodo, former Ogun State Governor, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, former Attorney-General of the Federation, Mr. Michael Aaondoka and former Deputy Senate Majority Leader, Senator Abdul Ningi. Although this might not pass for a grand declaration but, it was his first significant public statement on his ambition, even though it had been commonplace talk that he would contest the presidency in 2019. Still, the choice of Port Harcourt was significant, according to party watchers. With the growing influence of the Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike, in the affairs of the party, it was strategic for the former Vice President to inform the governor and lobby his support.

Many PDP watchers believe that Atiku’s decision to declare in Port Harcourt, reinforces, Wike’s influence in the party. The former vice president is not the first to declare his intent to become the PDP presidential candidate, which is zoned to the North foisted on it by the ruling party. The former Vice President, who boasted that he will easily defeat President Muhammadu Buhari if he gets PDP’s ticket in 2019, said the President has become politically weak after squandering the goodwill of Nigerians accorded him during the 2015 elections. Atiku, who was deputy to former President Olusegun Obasanjo, said, “I will definitely beat him this time. He has wasted a lot of his massive goodwill.” Atiku said, “There is nothing wrong with it. Ours is a fledgling democracy. What it means is that political parties are yet to mature and are going through constant transformations and changes. “That is why even President Buhari has been able to move from party to party, including ANPP, CPC and now APC. And for those who read about world history and political books like I do, they will know that Abraham Lincoln, Sir Winston Churchill and others went through so much before achieving their dreams. “After Buhari won the election, he was no longer interested in the party that made him president. Every activity stopped and even the party chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, could not take any decision. “I called Chief Odigie-Oyegun to tell him that our party was dying slowly, but he told me he could not do anything unless he got clearance from the president. “The party became a one-man property. Everyone grumbles behind the president but they are too timid to raise a voice against the illegalities being perpetrated. I should be bold enough to know what I want, and can do so at my age. So, I decided to leave.” Making the declaration to runby the party. Former Jigawa State governor, Sule Lamido; former Kano State governor; Ibrahim Shekarau; governor of Gombe State, Ibrahim Dankwambo. Others are former minister of special duties, Ibrahim Turaki; immediate past chairman of the PDP national caretaker committee, Sen Ahmed Makarfi. There is also the governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose, from the south, who is running against the tide. Lamido is perhaps the most visible on the list of aspirants so far. He has staged two major rallies in Jigawa State. Like Atiku, he has also made visits to Port Harcourt, perhaps to reinforce his lobby for the ticket from Wike. While Fayose has repeatedly maintained that he will contest for the presidential ticket, other aspirants have not been as aggressive in their pursuit for the presidential ticket of the party. Nevertheless, findings within the PDP reveal that the overbearing influence of Wike is becoming a concern in certain quarters of the party.

It was learnt that some governors have not been comfortable with the way Wike’s posture has been sending off some major interests within the party. While last December’s national convention created some acrimony among those who lost, it was gathered that the dismissive posture of the governor played a major part in the eventual defection of founding fathers of the party, like former ministers, Prof Jerry Gana and Prof Tunde Adeniran. However, addressing the gathering in Port Harcourt, Atiku, who was vice president between 1999 and 2007 on the platform of the PDP, said he was on a mission to put Nigeria on the path of growth and set if free from the path of “serial failure” for President while addressing PDP stakeholders at the party’s secretariat, Atiku noted that he is offering himself to set the country on the path of growth. The former Vice President stated that since 2015, the APC-led Federal Government has destroyed the education, health and infrastructural sectors through poor budgetary allocations and releases. Atiku said, “Since  2015, we have not seen a 100kilometres constructed by the APC Federal Government anywhere in the country.” The presidential hopeful, who called for the unity of the country, saying that  no component  part of the country to progress alone, further called on Rivers PDP stakeholders to support his ambition to emerge as the party’s presidential candidate. Lending his voice to Atiku’s appeal for support from the PDP stakeholders, former PDP National Chairman, Dr Okwesilieze Nwodo said that Atiku Abubakar is a detribalised Nigerian, with the capacity to rescue the country.

In his own speech, former Ogun State Governor, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, described the former Vice President as a true Nigerian, with business and political links across the country, adding that Nigeria needs Atiku Abubakar to  revive  the country. To Rivers State Governor, Chief Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, there is the need for all PDP members irrespective of their status to ensure that the march to the Presidential Villa is not truncated by disunity. The governor said, “Every Presidential Aspirant must see himself as a member of the larger PDP family. We must do everything to ensure that PDP returns to the Presidential Villa in 2019.

Christianity Etc › Re: My Take On The Doctrine Of Trinity And Those Saying Jesus Is God Almighty! by tomakint(op): 2:23am On Apr 04, 2018
GoodMuyis:
The Doctrine of Trinity is not about the organization of Godhead in hierarchy but explaining the qualities each personality in the God head shares. Ex. All of them are eternal, omnipotent, omniscient, etc

Jesus declare that Him and the Father are one; this only explains the agreement they has together and can come to instant conclusions without contradicting each other.
You need to study this then;

"What occurred at the Council of Nicea?"

Answer: The Council of Nicea took place in AD 325 by order of the Roman Emperor Caesar Flavius Constantine. Nicea was located in Asia Minor, east of Constantinople. At the Council of Nicea, Emperor Constantine presided over a group of church bishops and other leaders with the purpose of defining the nature of God for all of Christianity and eliminating confusion, controversy, and contention within the church. The Council of Nicea overwhelmingly affirmed the deity and eternality of Jesus Christ and defined the relationship between the Father and the Son as “of one substance.” It also affirmed the Trinity—the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit were listed as three co-equal and co-eternal Persons.

Constantine, who claimed conversion to Christianity, called for a meeting of bishops to be held in Nicea to resolve some escalating controversies among the church leadership. The issues being debated included the nature of Jesus Christ, the proper date to celebrate Easter, and other matters. The failing Roman Empire, now under Constantine’s rule, could not withstand the division caused by years of hard-fought, “out of hand” arguing over doctrinal differences. The emperor saw the quarrels within the church not only as a threat to Christianity but as a threat to society as well. Therefore, at the Council of Nicea, Constantine encouraged the church leaders to settle their internal disagreements and become Christlike agents who could bring new life to a troubled empire. Constantine felt “called” to use his authority to help bring about unity, peace, and love within the church.

The main theological issue had always been about Christ. Since the end of the apostolic age, Christians had begun debating these questions: Who is the Christ? Is He more divine than human or more human than divine? Was Jesus created or begotten? Being the Son of God, is He co-equal and co-eternal with the Father, or is He lower in status than the Father? Is the Father the one true God, or are the Father, Son, and Spirit the one true God?

A priest named Arius presented his argument that Jesus Christ was not an eternal being, that He was created at a certain point in time by the Father. Bishops such as Alexander and the deacon Athanasius argued the opposite position: that Jesus Christ is eternal, just like the Father is. It was an argument pitting trinitarianism against monarchianism.

Constantine prodded the 300 bishops in the council make a decision by majority vote defining who Jesus Christ is. The statement of doctrine they produced was one that all of Christianity would follow and obey, called the “Nicene Creed.” This creed was upheld by the church and enforced by the Emperor. The bishops at Nicea voted to make the full deity of Christ the accepted position of the church. The Council of Nicea upheld the doctrine of Christ’s true divinity, rejecting Arius’s heresy. The council did not invent this doctrine. Rather, it only recognized what the Bible already taught.

The New Testament teaches that Jesus the Messiah should be worshipped, which is to say He is co-equal with God. The New Testament forbids the worship of angels (Colossians 2:18; Revelation 22:8, 9) but commands worship of Jesus. The apostle Paul tells us that “in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form” (Colossians 2:9; 1:19). Paul declares Jesus as Lord and the One to whom a person must pray for salvation (Romans 10:9-13; cf. Joel 2:32). “Jesus is God overall” (Romans 9:5) and our God and Savior (Titus 2:13). Faith in Jesus’ deity is basic to Paul’s theology.

John’s Gospel declares Jesus to be the divine, eternal Logos, the agent of creation and source of life and light (John 1:1-5,9); "the Way, the Truth, and the Life" (John 14:6); our advocate with the Father (1 John 2:1-2); the Sovereign (Revelation 1:5); and the Son of God from the beginning to the end (Revelation 22:13). The author of Hebrews reveals the deity of Jesus through His perfection as the most high priest (Hebrews 1; Hebrews 7:1-3). The divine-human Savior is the Christian’s object of faith, hope, and love.

The Council of Nicea did not invent the doctrine of the deity of Christ. Rather, the Council of Nicea affirmed the apostles’ teaching of who Christ is—the one true God and the Second Person of the Trinity, with the Father and the Holy Spirit.

"Who was Constantine the Great?"

Answer: Constantine the Great (AD 280—337) was one of Rome’s most powerful and successful emperors and the first to self-identify as a Christian. He is known for his economic, political, and military achievements, as well as his religious reforms. Medieval writers praised him as the ideal ruler, against whom all kings were measured. Over time, his reign was viewed with waning enthusiasm. Historians also began to debate how committed Constantine was to Christianity or how devoutly he actually followed it. Constantine was influential in Christian history for his personal faith, religious politics, issuing the Edict of Milan, and calling the Council of Nicea.

Constantine was the son of a Roman official and his Christian concubine. This placed him in line to succeed the throne of the Western Roman Empire. At age 31, he prepared to attack his chief rival with an army outnumbered 4-to-1. Before the battle, Constantine claimed to have seen a vision of Jesus, with a specific symbol, telling him, “By this sign, conquer.” Constantine ordered his troops to mark their shields with this symbol, the Chi-Rho, then a symbol commonly representing Christianity. The Chi-Rho combines the first two letters in the Greek word for “Christ” and resembles a capital P with an X drawn through the spine. Constantine’s forces routed the enemy, and he became emperor. The Chi-Rho symbol would be part of Constantine’s personal signature for the rest of his life.

As emperor, Constantine issued the Edict of Milan, which declared Roman citizens free to worship whatever gods they chose. The Edict of Milan ended longstanding persecution of Christians in the Roman Empire. At that time, Constantine did not (yet) claim to be a Christian himself, nor did he advocate for an official state religion. Based on his continued use of certain pagan symbols, scholars believe Constantine’s early religion was generally theistic, rather than specifically Christian. His boldness in using Christian language grew during his reign. After assuming control of the entire Roman Empire, he built lavish churches and came to openly espouse Christianity.

During Constantine’s reign, controversy arose over the teachings of Arius, who denied the full divinity of Jesus. Constantine called a meeting of Christian bishops, the Council of Nicea, to settle the dispute. Contrary to popular myth, this meeting did not discuss the canon of the Bible, nor was Constantine influential in the council’s decisions. Emperors saw themselves as responsible for promoting “correct” forms of worship; Constantine’s interest was not to declare orthodoxy but to let the bishops determine it so that he could enforce it. Further, Constantine was not known for his philosophical ability and found himself lost in deeper discussions of theology. Rather, he acted as the council’s mediator and host, roles at which he excelled.

Constantine’s Christian faith has frequently been critiqued, if not questioned outright. On one hand, he made great strides in securing political and social rights for Christians and initiating general humanitarian reforms. He poured time and money into building churches and publicly supporting Christianity. Particularly toward the end of his reign, Constantine vocally professed faith in Christ and credited his success to God. He was baptized shortly before his death, according to the common practice of his time.

On the other hand, Constantine continued many pagan practices, including veneration of the sun. His interest in Christian orthodoxy was motivated primarily by a desire to maintain social order. There are also reasons to suspect that Constantine was as ruthless toward rivals as prior emperors had been. One of his sons, a brother-in-law, and his second wife were executed for reasons still unknown. He freely blended pagan practices with Christian beliefs, leading scholars to suggest his public adoption of Christianity might have been a savvy political move, linking him to a rising social force in the Roman Empire.

Ultimately, whether Constantine was a committed Christian, a shrewd, Christian-friendly politician, or something in between is an open question. Without doubt, he ended centuries of persecution and greatly enhanced the social standing of Christianity. He committed resources to churches and Christian education, and his leadership helped to clarify important Christian doctrines. However, Constantine’s actions resulted in some negative complications. Free from persecution, the church naturally attracted more false converts. The melding of Christian themes with secular politics set a pattern that contributed to later disasters such as the Inquisition and the Crusades. Constantine’s blending of pagan, building-and-priest-centered worship with Christianity also contributed to the rise of Roman Catholicism.

Constantine’s legacy is complex and not wholly understood, but he stands as one of the dominant figures in Christian history. Without doubt, his influence transformed Christianity from a persecuted minority into the eventual state religion of the Roman Empire and the most widespread faith in history.

What u said above doesn't equate the father son n holy spirit, It simply mentions the 3 of them together.

A son is not equal to a Father.

While on earth jesus still prayed to his father in heaven n that clears Everything.
You just helped a brother to the deeper meaning in the relationship among the 3 distinct Beings, who are; God Almighty, Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit. I just pray he will understand the Holy Scriptures through the interpretations of the Holy Spirit that teaches us the Truth and not through the interpretations of his Pastors that lead to Doctrines of Men! Trinity is a Doctrine of Men which the Bible warns us against. As I am typing now, trinity teaching has bring more confusion into the household of faith than belief.

APRIL 1, 2018

Fabiyi Olademeji, a close ally of former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, is the national coordinator of Atiku campaign groups and a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). In this interview with

He spoke about the presidential ambition of the former vice president and why he deserves the PDP presidential ticket among other issues.

When should we expect Atiku to formally declare for the office of the president?

First and foremost; there are two things that happens, one is an event the other is a process; event in the sense that he move from APC to PDP; now he is in PDP, there are so many things to be done before declaration, consultation, meeting people this is a process.
And you notice that when he returned life returned to PDP, he is on that process and as soon the process is over he would come out to say if he would contest, don’t forget that he is a founding member of the party, there are also many things to be done, these are processes, don’t forget he is the founding member of the party and he was forced out of the party, that is history now;

He is meeting people, he is going there, that is a process, telling them that he has returned to the party, he met with Fayose as the chairman of the governors forum some weeks back, he has also been attending private events.
The battle line is as soon as this process is complete he would declare, he is consulting and there must be consultation, INEC has not even set time for the primaries, he is going through that process of meeting people, let them know that he is back in the party, and in a couple of weeks, he would come out and tell Nigerians his next move.

How are you managing the large number of groups indicating interest in working for Atiku?

We are overwhelmed by the number of people coming out by the day declaring their interest for Atiku. Right now there are about 600 groups coming together to support Atiku and we are in the process of profiling these groups now.
It is not about Atiku, it is about the future of Nigeria, it is about him coming out to rescue the future of Nigeria, it is about the future of our youths.

How do you react to the insinuation that Atiku is corrupt?

The question of Atiku being corrupt is stale news now. Atiku’s wealth is not government money, it means his wealth is gotten through hard work, he has let the world know how he got into merchandising, he got loan, buys house, got into custom and he invested into agriculture and education; we know people who stole Nigeria’s money where are they now?
They are very broke, the money is finished. Atiku have told people how he invested in business, how he got loans to start, how he joined customs and left, how he invested into properties and he has challenged Nigerians if you have corruption case against me bring it forward and lets see.
Nobody up till today has come forward, we are tired of talking about this issue, he has been traveling around the world, and nobody has arrested him. We know people saying all these things, Atiku had many times said how his got his wealth, let them come out and say how they got their wealth too.
Atiku belongs to the past, but he is still relevant to the present, and the future of youths of this country, it is about Nigeria, it is the future, Atiku belongs to the past, but he is still relevant to the present and the youths is key to the future of the country.

What machinery are you putting in place to ensure that those groups who would work against the interest of Atiku are checked like they have done in the past?

I want to say it is not the groups that worked against Atiku, it is the elite of the country, I call it elite conspiracy, they are against him because they think if he comes to power; he would not serve their interest, they cannot control him. This is the reason they are working against him, it is up to us as Nigerians to work against these people. It is on record that Atiku has the ability to move the country forward; and they are afraid and they know if he comes to power he would surpass their achievements that is also why they are afraid.
This few elite do not want this country to move forward we make a big mistake by electing someone like Buhari, lets move this country forward, get your PVC and you can vote these people out that is s the way forward.

Is Atiku ready to apologize to Obasanjo as advised by Jonathan?

Atiku holds nothing against Obasanjo and I believe Obasanjo holds nothing against him, there is no basis for begging; Jonathan talked like a leader, his advice is good. Atiku has taken it if he thinks there is need to do that he would do it.

How do you react to the Obasanjo inspired third force Coalition?

It is only God that makes leaders, nobody gave Obasanjo chance that he would come back to rule; judging where Jonathan was coming from whoever think is going to become the president? It is only God that determines; 1000 supporters cannot make any body president. Lets wait to see the outcome, whether third force or 5th force Nigerians are waiting to see the outcome.

Is Atiku desperate to rule Nigeria?

No, Atiku has been running for president for some time now; he contested in 1993 and he willingly stepped down for Abiola. In 2003 he stepped down for Obasanjo in spite of the fact that 19 of the governors where in his support, he said the Yorubas have only been in office for four years, in 2014 he had grounds to challenge Buhari in court, but he said lets deepen democracy. He is not desperate to rule, he just want to liberate this country. Can somebody be desperate to serve his country. He is not like Buhari who contested several times under different party. Atiku just want to give back to the country, as the president he can do more for Nigerians.

Is he ready for dialogue with the other presidential aspirants in PDP?

When we get to that bridge we would cross it, we would speak with other candidates, but INEC has not declared the race open.

What has Atiku to offer Nigerians?

Here is a man who was an orphan at the age of 16, this is about a man who does not have any helper, he got educated through government scholarship; he got to where he is through hard work; his selling point is that he is a successful business man.
Atiku is the second highest employer of labour in the country; go to Adamawa State, the school he built has put the state in the world map. Here is a man who almost lost his life while fighting for democracy for the country, a thorough family man, and he has the policy to move the country forward. He has the friends and connections to move the country forward; he is the best candidate for the job.

How do you react to the election time table drama?

The Senate could not have been wrong; it is part of the beauty of democracy; I don’t think they have broken any law, fundamentally the National Assembly has right to amend the constitution, they have not tampered with the time, they only tempered with sequence.
The sequence does not matter, why is Mr. President bothered about the time and sequence as if he is confident he would win the election.

The PDP is said to be in another crisis how true is this?

Let them say what they like, there is no crisis in PDP; we may have disgruntled members here and there, we may have few issues after the convention; it is part of politics;
what of APC; the problem in PDP is smaller than what we have in APC, we would sort things out, since PDP came back APC knows they are in problem, let them go and do convention first.

They said Wike has hijacked the party?

One person cannot hijack the party, we have executive, the dynamics that shapes the convention is bigger than Wike, he may have the resources but he cannot take over the party structure.

Jesus Christ is God, as He is in the form of God. That is, He is of the same substance as God. But Jesus is NOT the same as Yahweh. Yahweh is superior. Yahweh is His Father. Yahweh is the Almighty God.
As much as I cherish this simple breakdown of this debate I still think that the bolden is not substantiated for in the Bible. Even in the book of Revelations in chapter 5, you can tell they were never of the same Substance. No creature can be compared to God sir, he is Supreme and Christ affirms this quality in the Father. Thanks my brother.

I learn from people who are willingly to teach not accusing unnecessary. I learn from people that are filled with the holy ghost not people with literatures. I learn from people that do not slander. When I see a spirit led literature i know because such literature are deep beyond human comprehension. My brother yours isn't deep beyond human comprehension. There is no rhema in it. There is nothing new except quotations.
I can understand you clearly now since you can identify Rhema in a literature kindly read my post below then you can come up with your own rebuttal for a real debates void of ad hominem attacks and distractions. Below is my submission;

I keep wondering why the issue or debates of "Jesus Christ Equal God Almighty should be debated" when Jesus Christ already addressed that issue in John 10: 30-38;

30. I and my Father are one.
31.  Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.
32. Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?
33. The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.
34. Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
35. If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
36. Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?
37. If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.
38. But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.

Looking at Christ's own defense here is just ok for anyone who wants to learn that Christ never addressed himself as "God" but always call himself "Son of God" as seen in verse 36 where he countered the wrong insinuation by the Jews when they wrongly accused him of making himself "God" in verse 33.

I have heard some Pastors and teachers of the Holy Scriptures saying Jesus Christ was the same as "I AM THAT I AM" and even linked that to what Jesus said before the Jews in John 8: 58 when he said, "Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am." which to me is barbaric and unscriptural.

Some even take John 1: 1-5 as meaning Jesus Is God the Father when it is very clear here the word God here is what Jesus Christ said in John 10: 34; "Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?" here Christ was quoting Psalms 82:6; "I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High." here Jesus was trying to make the Jews realized that if mere men (mortals) are referred to as god then how much him that came from God, sanctified and ordered to be the Word of God to mankind cannot address himself as "Son of God"? (John 10: 35-36).

If you are going with the Doctrine of Trinity as saying Jesus is of equal status as God Almighty then you are rewriting the Bible which should not be seen with someone professing Christ as his personal Lord and Saviour. Reflect on this, if Jesus is of equal status and form with God then why does the Bible say this; "Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:" (Deuteronomy 6:4) and you wondered why Jesus said the followings;
"You have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If you loved me, you would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I." (John 14:28); "16. And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Teacher, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
17. And he said unto him, Why do you call me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if you will enter into life, keep the commandments. (Matthew 19: 16 -17) you can study; Mark 10: 17-18, Luke 18: 18-19. It is very simple Jesus Christ gave all respect to His Father in Heaven as the only God that is Good and not even Him for he always "reverence His Father". I don't think it would be appropriate to say "a God is showing reverence to another God" which is clearly what you are insinuating. Jesus also said this about His God, my God, your God whom we worship; "But of that day and hour knows no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only." (Matthew 24:36). Even the book of Mark 13: 32 was deeper in this; "But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father."! As you can see if Jesus is God of equal power and form with God he wouldn't have said only God is good nor him accepting the fact that not even him as the "Son" knows the hour when the last days judgment shall come.

I can go on and on where Christ was speaking and not his Apostles now but him talking about his status with God which I believe you can relate to but let me stop here because I know as an Holy Spirit- filled reader of the Bible you can be guided by the Spirit of Wisdom and Truth to know more about Jesus Doctrine which is Divine and Doctrines of Men which is sensual. Take care and God bless you.

CANTICLES:
Jesus is not Yahweh.

The fact that someone is called God doesn't make them Yahweh, which is where you are mistaken Sir.

Does the fact that humans Re called GOD in the Bible, make them Yahweh ?
My brother this is the crux of the matter and that's why I tried to show him the origin of the "doctrine of Trinity many Christians have suddenly taken as being Biblical hence creating 3 Gods in one body which is contrary to the Bible stand. Even in Revelations chapter 5, one can see clearly that the "Lamb that was Slain" (Jesus Christ) was a different and subservient personality to "Him that sitteth on the Throne" (Yahweh, Jehovah, God Almighty) as clearly seen here; 6. And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
7. And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.
it shows the doctrine of trinity is just to cause confusion. Yes the Three (God, Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit) agree and work together in unity but definitely are three distinct supernatural beings that operates differently and are subservient to one God, who is Yahweh, Jehovah whom Christ worships too

I have thought this topic before on this forum
What's that supposed to mean? "I" is simply a term of someone who knows it all in this stance please keep your knowledge and do a little dig deeper into the Word of Life and learn more. This thread is rich enough to make you do more research and learn and don't assume you know it all. I am still learning the Word of Life too.

Oga I know your type. You have made up your mind not to believe. Even if I dissect the scriptures to you, you would find fault
Mr I am not whom you think, you don't know me and never will, we are only discussing the Bible written by mortal men but inspired by the Holy Spirit of an Immortal God, state your proofs of what we are saying convincingly from the same Bible we are quoting from and lets learn together and not when you are forcing doctrines of men down our throat. May God help you to discern and learn.

Mr man the holy spirit doesn't work that way.You are too carnal that even if I quote scriptures you wouldn't follow
Any man inspired or filled with the Holy Spirit will always have a teachable spirit which you lack and such a one will never judge his fellow brother wrongly which you just did by calling me carnal when it's not necessary when all you need is to educate me on how Jesus Christ is the same as God and show me where Bible supports Trinity. I can easily see through your hypocritical tendencies. You need Jesus my brother and also study more.

It is still going to be a straight battle between APC and PDP, Obasanjo should learn to stop playing god in Nigerian politics and respect his old age.
