The truth is that Muslims have population than Christians because the LGA is skewed in such a way that Muslims population are high.

The Christian there are too docile and always a willing tool for the Muslims to Lord over. The last election is an evidence of hw the Southern Kadunas joined the bandwagon of Change even when they knew that Buhari was a known bigot
Thanks for the info but my friend proved to me then that Christians are more which I think you have touched here on the area of the docility of the Christians leaving everything in the hands of the Muslims to determine their fate. Nice one bro
Christianity Etc › Facts About The Bible! by tomakint(op): 11:57pm On Jan 15, 2017
The Bible contains over three million letters (3,000,000) precisely, 3,566,480 letters. There are 31,000 verses and 1,189 chapters in the Bible. About 38 hours are needed to read through the Old Testament while 11 hours are needed to read through the New Testament making it a total of 49 hours to finish the whole Bible.

The Bible has been proved to be written by 40 different writers over a period of 1,600 years. The great subject of the Bible is "Jesus Christ". It is in fact the most interesting book in the world. It is the best selling book in the world till date for more than 40 years running. Also, about 400 years before Jesus Christ was born, the Old Testament was completed. It was written in the Hebrew language. Some brief sections (parts of Ezra and Daniel) were written in the "Aramaic language"!

It was only after the earthly life of the Lord Jesus that the books and epistles of the New Testament were written, and that in Greek, since this was the universal language at that particular time. Around 100 years after our Lord Jesus Christ, the New Testament was completed.

Note: The hours it will require one to read through the Bible at a "Talking Speed" is 70 hours and 40 minutes. If you choose to read through the Bible by taking four chapters per day you may finish it in one year (365 days)!

*We talk everyday on trivial matters but hardly spend quality time on this Book of Life that has transformed many lives over the years. Please avail yourself of this golden opportunity while you still have the chance by taking time to read your Bible everyday for direction from our Heavenly Father* (Joshua 1: cool!

The only thing those marauders know is tit for tat. There comes a time when you need to survive first before practising your religion.

The Southern Kadunas are one of the weak link in the middle belt because the Muslim north among them is dividing them through creating chiefdoms among them which sometimes pit the Katafs against lets say the Gbagyis

The only thing they need to do is bear arms and fight back. They have the numbers but they are docile. The funny thing is that the igbo population there are willing to help them
God bless you bro, can you educate me on something. I have a Kaduna friend from Kafanchan side who told me that Christians are more than Muslims in the whole of Kaduna State please how true is this? If true how come Christians are not given the chance to produce Governors except for Ibrahim Yakowa who died in helicopter crash.

May I ask you, can we live our lives differently the way the early church live theirs, do we have another bible, do we have another Jesus, do we christian so to say have another religion.

we are quick to tell the other religion to allow their god fight instead of killing for him, yet the christian today are quick to say, we will revenge for God.

Am not saying you should not defend yourself. But carrying Gun, cutlass, club and facing satanist who have nothing to loose even if he died in the process he believes there await rewards for him.

But as a christian what did you have to gain, when in the process of fighting for God and trying to help God, because that is what I can decipher from your submission.

Sir Tomakint, Jesus Said to Peter who wanted to kill for Him that
"Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword."

Are you more bible than Jesus

Politics › Ekiti APC Slams Pastor Adeboye Over Support For Fayose, Alleges Bribery! by tomakint(op): 9:21pm On Dec 25, 2016
The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ekiti State has frowned at the comment made by the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Enoch Adeboye, yesterday commending the state governor, Ayodele Fayose, for what he called the governor’s courage and willingness to defend his people and the cause of the common man in the country.

The party said it was alarmed that a cleric of Mr. Adeboye’s standing could praise Governor Fayose for his persistent insults and abuses on President Muhammadu Buhari, noting that the cleric should be seen as speaking for himself and his comment must not be seen as representing that of the entire members of the RCCG.

In a release issued in Ado Ekiti on Sunday and signed by the state chairman of the party, Jide Awe, the party alleged that Mr. Fayose could have bribed Mr. Adeboye with huge amount of money to get such endorsement, which is not being circulated.

Pastor Adeboye had during his tour of the country to the state as part of the church’s annual ‘Let’s Go A Fishing” programme, said to Mr. Fayose: “We thank God for your courage, for your boldness, we thank God for your being willing to take risks so that your people can be protected. You have been a governor who knows when to say enough is enough in defence of his people. And I’m sure you know what I’m talking about and I am sure the world knows. I don’t want to say more than that but be assured that we are praying for you and you will succeed in Jesus name.”

Mr. Awe said Governor Fayose is a man that can bribe even angel of God to endorse the devil, warning Mr. Adeboye to avoid what will make the people of Ekiti rise against him.

The APC said that Mr. Adeboye even chose this period of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ to embark on praise singing of a character like Mr. Fayose is to say the least, preposterous.

The party chairman called on members of the RCCG, especially families of the founder, Josiah Akindayomi, to call Mr. Adeboye to order before he destroys the church with his involvement in politics.
He said the pastor must not be allowed to destroy the legacies of the founder of the Redeemed Church and the entire members of the church.

Mr. Awe said Mr. Adeboye should be reminded that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is a staunch member of the RCCG and what is expected of the cleric was support for members of his church, not praise singing of Mr. Fayose.

THIS WEEK - LET'S INTRODUCE PASTOR (DR) W.F. KUMUYI -4

Why The Church Is Called Deeper Life PLUS The Real Meaning Of My Name & Why I Changed It – Pastor W.F Kumuyi

The founder and the General Overseer of Deeper Life Bible Church, Dr W.F Kumuyi in an interview with Elife talks about his
Christian Faith, why his church was named Deeper Life and the real meaning of his name. Pastor Kumuyi narrated why he changed his original name Ikumuyiwa meaning “death brought this” to Kumuyi.

Excerpts: African names have meanings.

What does Kumuyi mean?
The full name is Ikumuyiwa, which means ‘death brought this”. After I became a Christian, I realised it was the death of Christ that has brought us salvation, and also the redemption and reconciliation we have with God. So, for me, the name, Ikumuyiwa, is very significant – death has brought something good. The death of Christ has brought us the grace and goodness of God, and the relationship we have now with the Lord.

How many siblings do you have?
I have two siblings – a sister who is three years younger than I am, and a brother who is far much younger, 18 or 19 years younger than I am. Both of them are in Nigeria . My sister lives in Ondo State . A born-again Christian, she attends Deeper Life. My brother lives in Osun State, and he is also in the Church. Both of them are following the Lord.

You left the Anglican Church for the Apostolic Church. What made you switch?
I was teaching in Mayflower School, my alma mater. I completed my secondary school education in 1961, and started teaching
mathematics at Mayflower in 1962. It was there that I was introduced to the Apostolic Faith, not Apostolic Church, and really heard about the change that Christ could make to our lives when we turned from our sins and believed in him and how he died for us on the cross of Calvary. It was there that I had the salvation experience and things really turned up for me.

You became a born-again Christian at the age of 23, on 5th April 1964. Do you still remember what happened?
Yes, a preacher was preaching a simple message, and because I had become almost like a moralist in the sense that I protected my name and personality, when that preacher preached, I saw that it was not just our actions that made us unacceptable to God, even our wrong thoughts and wrong plans or planning our lives as if God didn’t exist, also made us unacceptable. I then realised that I needed God. And when the preacher made an altar call, he pointedly said if “anybody needed Christ to fill the void in their lives, such people should come forward”, I felt drawn to what he was saying. I went forward, knelt down and prayed.
In fact, it was such an important day for me that I still remember it to this day, even where I knelt, how it all happened, and the
peace and joy that came to my heart, that now I was reconciled with God through Jesus Christ. It was very definite.

Was it in Lagos ?
No, it was in Ijebu-Ode in Ogun State , about one-and-a half hours drive from Lagos.

Why did you call it Deeper Life?
Actually it came from the people. When they received the articles, they came to the Bible studies and said: “We’ve been Christians before, but this one is deeper than what we used to know.” So they used the name Deeper Life. We also knew that we were leading them to deeper relations with God; that is how those articles became Deeper Christian Life Articles. Then as we continued with the Bible studies, the group became known as the Deeper Christian Life Ministry. And when it became a Church in 1983, we called it the Deeper Life Bible Church.

Are you saying the name, Deeper Life, didn’t come from you?
Well, yes and no. We called the articles we sent out “Deeper Life Articles”. The people themselves were saying those articles were
deepening their Christian lives. So the name came from both sides.. - Excerpt from interview by Elife
