KINGinVAHALA:
And I still wonder what both Saraki and Ekweremadu are still doing as Senate president and deputy.

They said they were going to sink with saraki if the need be, so why are they lamenting when the ship is sinking?

Someone with a good heart should please remind dino that he is the next in line to board a sinking ship with saraki.
Leave that Dino clown alone they will soon teach him the Chess rule tactics.

I think we now get the message .... their removal is not for the betterment of this country it is for their self interest...... SGF ( DAVID BABACHIR LAWAL) deal with it , SARAKI will be the SENATE PRESIDENT for 4yrs...... in dino voice 4 years too sure
You are still lost....the credible reason for their resignation is premised on the undisputable fact that the duo have brought the Senate Leadership to disrepute and global shame especially the Senate President so the only honourable thing to do now is that the duo should jejely resign. Are you there now?

AminuRano87:
Islam was introduced to northern Nigeria since 14th century by Arab traders from North Africa I.e Egypt, Morocco etc coming to Kano to buy slaves, Groundnut, Horses etc
What Usman Fodio did was establishment of Islamic government of emirs through war I.e JIHAD
The questions now is, who are these Arab traders? What is your source? Any documentation to prove the validity of your claim? What we were thought those days is that Uthman Dan Fodio a Fulani Jihadist from Mali conquered the Pagan Northern Nigeria and thereby installing Islamic Caliphate across his conquered territories which in return spread Islamic teachings that eventually across Nigeria.

No single person can be singled out for that honor. Islam came to present day Nigeria through trade contact. There are Muslims far down as Yoruba land even before the Jihad! Islam even came to Yoruba land before masquerades worship was introduced!
Really? I am really learning a lot here.......but can you tell me the date Islam was introduced to us here and by whom.

Tick, Tisk, Tisk,,

All this wahala wey dey Saraki neck, I wonder if he has had time to loot since becoming Senate president.

Some have powers, but cannot loot..

Some can loot but have no powers..

We have Powers and we can loot.. Glory be to God on high.

Amen..
Clown cheesy grin Saraki is in one deep shiit but wouldn't mind rubbing that shiit on many before going down. He will be thoroughly messed up for daring his leaders. He must understand that he is just Senate President, a body that comprises of 109 members and not the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Its a pity these "educated jihadists" up North are still hellbent to cause chaos across the Christians populated Southern part of this Country....the question is, what do they really want? I really feel for FFK at this juncture on the ground of gross abuse to his fundamental human rights to fair hearing at a competent Court of law. I am patiently waiting for this REFERENDUM should Buhari choose to go on with his total disregard for law and order coupled with his one-sidedness fight against corruption.

What happened to the Senate rules was not an amendment. It was a clear forgery blatantly engineered to influence a pre-determined outcome, to lay credence to the the primordial ambition of four men.
It is a provocative treachery against 180 million Nigerians.

Best way to defend democracy is to prosecute, and throw behind bars, those who make a ridicule of it.

The senate belongs to Nigeria. It is sustained by Nigerian taxpayers, and is subject to the laws that binds all of us. It is not an institution for the celebration of treachery and brigandage of the perfidious few.
I love and appreciate wise men....succinctly put.

I am really impressed by this SGF response, Saraki is simply not fully aware of the enormity of his crime. He sees himself as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria whereas he is just President of the 109-member Senate... ...his actions so far can be tantamount to evoke the spirit of a parallel government which attracts serious punishment. My candid advice especially to Saraki is, RESIGN angry

Saraki is being played by smart lawyers who saw his desperation for power and choose to keep deceiving him that he should hold on to power in the face of flagrant abuse of the office of the Senate President going by many incriminating legal issues dangling around his neck like 22-carat gold chain. The fact is, they need Saraki to spend more and more before sending him to gaol.

cramjones:
Who does not know Mr. Ogah is a fraud? In Nigeria we never seek to find out the source of people's wealth. Even if you have never met Mr. Ogah, a quick look at his CV would alert you. In his CV he worked in a bank, left the bank, and all of a sudden started running a multibillion naira company. No mention of where he got his start up capital, no mention of bank credit, nothing! Abracadabra he became rich.

Just like FFK. What business has he ever done? What has his salary been since assuming two ministerial positions? All of a sudden he becomes rich, and people are questioning his detention in prison? Folks I support a dictatorial Buhari if it will bring some sanity in the country, and some dignity to hardworking honest Nigerians.
