Don't call him again. Let him go no matter how hard. If he wants to marry you he would've done that years ago He will call to check up on you and that will be all. There's also a slim possibility of him calling to make things serious but don't put your mind to it cos that's very unlikely. It's possible he wishes you're something that you're not and that thing is important to him and he's torn between opinions running through his soul because you satisfy all other conditions and probably don't give him wahala. He feels he can get what you lack from another girl so why choose you, hence nothing for you. A humans mind is that hard.
Funny how not hitting you is a point as if the normal thing is when a man hits a woman. That one is not a point And your number 8 point is your worst foolishness if really true. There are some men who will trivialize the thing that he is taking too serious, and will marry you without ado within months if possible weeks and love you sincerely, make yourself available to them and to all eligible men, in no time you'll be hooked up. Hope is never lost. |

Omar09: I will listen to my parents especially my mom if she has a valid reason that has nothing to do with Tribalism.
My uncle when he wanted to get married brought home a woman who was very beautiful, but his mom refused saying she's a single mom with kids tho his mom was just seeing the woman for the first time. Long story short, my uncle went ahead with the marriage and today....! He is wrecked! By the same woman his mom warned him about. He's mom's late (rest her soul). Now my uncle just found out this year that his wife had five kids for the first husband.
Now tell me why I shouldn't listen to my parents? Wow five whopping kids and she still looked young and without kids. Are you kidding me?? How did having 5 kids wreck him. Your point is not valid |

Financial impropriety is a crime Some people get punished for just collecting from laundered money (eg olisa metuh) while some people get exponentially rewarded while being part of a network controlled by Abacha that “embezzled, misappropriated and extorted billions from the government of Nigeria”. (eg bagudu governor of kebbi) This life is very unfair |

Femsyn: To buttress the OP's views...
I read this story and i laughed... i laughed hard because marriage is complex and is often more that what meets the eye.
Do you know the couple's story? They alone, know why they act in the manner they do. Look! how a woman or wife react in marriage is borne more of the input of the husband. What you see is what you get.
Let me ask you a question? Do you think the woman would've reacted the same way, if the man is often of the habit of squandering family cash on irrelevant things, stays away from the house with girlfriends, ignores the wife, does not carry the wife along in major decisions and does not take care of the home?
Young men, don't read hastily. The man the OP depicted up there is a responsible man. Most women align with their husbands easily, when the man is doing the needful.
The man has done enough for the reward you saw for few moments. Men, that reward doesn't come automatically. You work for it!!!
My response is not for the OP, because s/he has done justice with the points given thereafter. My response is for men who might read hastily, and assume the wife's behaviour is follow-come. You are a wiser man You really helped articulate my points albeit more aptly It was the follow up points that saved the OP if not it would'nt have made sense. Not all men crave vain glory. The OP is a woman and is trying to glorify men. The man is the head but they're both equal partners in the union. The old woman is just extra wise and a peace lover |

edoairways: He didn't forged his certificate rather there were discrepancies in various result submitted. Each bearing different names not necessary fraud as been painted by the media You need to correct your statement or your punctuation. You're saying there were discrepancies in the results but I guess what you intended saying is discrepancy in the names. If the discrepancies were only in the names and not of the results itself, it behoved on the supreme Court to have ascertained that he is indeed the rightful earner of the certificates he presented which they failed to do. Therefore the supreme Court really erred gravely. They have miscarried justice and saliently setting deadly precedences. |

What will you gain? You have just sent a good brain to be trained by criminals to torment the society in the future. Trust me, he'll come out a terror. This is where this country always gets it wrong. Is he the only teenage Nigerian boy living in poverty? Your recommendation is that criminality be rewarded but uprightness be overlooked. It doesn't work that way You recommendation starts and ends in movie scenes. |
