There's nothing in England? grin What a delusional statement. Speak for yourself. Thanks for the "advice". As for the rest of us, no matter the 'nothingness' in England, we still dey go. Have a good day.

Delusional statement? Oh I get it, you must be a newcomer. Welcome! Well let me tell you something, as a British citizen with degrees and is moving to the States soon. I know what I'm talking about. I said what I said. Deal with it. Wake up. Do you know how many Nigerians are relocating back to Nigeria everyday? I guess you must be oblivious to the fact that many Nigerians are moving to America, Canada, Germany, Australia and Dubai now? If you come from Nigeria on a student visa and successfully complete it your degree the chances of one staying behind is slim to none unless you have an employer who is willing to sponsor you or you marry someone. To add to that, thousands of white people relocate out of the UK every year to other countries. You obviously live in a bubble. The UK government and policies are changing everyday. Brexit. Ding ding! Everything is becoming expensive. Don't even get me started on the outrageous taxes and the tiny houses in London as compared to houses in LA or Atlanta or even Nigeria. Wake up! Smell the coffee Mr Delusional.

Gold digger.

The Lady is a Nurse in the US and a US citizen.

They allegedly met last November, courtesy of Okon's former girlfried who made the mistake of bringing him overf to visit her 'friend'....only for Oga to see green card and jump on this babe.

I hope he enjoys married life and realises that marrying US citizen no be beans, you cannot scam your way out of it

Whats the ex babes surname?

Yes. He met his now fiancée through his then girlfriend in November 2017 when they both visited the US and spent some days in his Kosi's house. Kosi and Egor, his ex, were close friends before the snatching occurred.

Wawu! Kosi lives in Cali right?

He wasn’t just accused of being a gigolo, apparently, he met this his wife to be through her best friend, who was his girlfriend. This matter scattered the ladies relationship.

As in, his girlfriend traveled with him abroad, and they stayed at her friend’s house.
That her friend whose house they stayed in, is the lady in those pre wedding photos with him.

Forreal? Wow! I'm sure theres more to this story.
Romance / Re: I Need Urgent Relationship Advice by Tominiola: 5:09pm On Dec 11, 2018
You definitely need to get a DNA test done. Don't run a way. Get the DNA test done when the baby arrives. Don't run away because if that child turns out to be yours and you fail to be a responsible father you will live to regret it and that child may just end up hating you. Ask her to bring 50k and you add 50k so you can get the test done.

Romance / Re: My Mother Thinks My Girlfriend Is Not Wife Material by Tominiola: 5:06pm On Dec 11, 2018
I think you are partly to blame for that. Can't you save your mothers name as something else? Your girlfriend filped out beause she felt threatened. More over put yourself in your girlfriend shoe. If you girlfriend stored her fathers name under sugar daddy in her phone, wouldn't you be suspicious? Wouldn't you flip out too? Get your girlfriend and mom together and apologise to your girlfriend and get your girlfriend to apologise to your mom.
Romance / Re: I Am In A Big Problem by Tominiola: 4:50pm On Dec 11, 2018
First of all, if you had a girlfriend why did you start dating someone else? That's evil. Anyways, just let her go. She will get over it eventually. Don't pick up her calls because by doing that you are giving her a false glimpse of hope that maybe she might be the main girlfriend or even wife someday.

If you plan on remaining celibate until marriage then yes its not a problem.
Romance / Re: My Boyfriend Told His Mum I'm His Friend by Tominiola: 4:44pm On Dec 11, 2018
I don't think its something you should be worried about just yet. The relationship is still very new. If 6 months or a year into the relationship he is still referring to you as a friend (e.g. friends and family) thats when you should be worried.

i would like to say something...

people have mixed feelings about the uk.

Any one telling you that dont come here there is nothing interesting here is lying oooo grin grin grin

butttt

coming here legally is what matters if you come without work permit or permit to stay then you will face a lot here ooo because like someone said everyone minds their business and no one would help you,

but if you get here with even the basic requirement then welcome to a new life ,

i would recommend the US because if you go with a visiting visa to us as long as you dont break any law and dont tell anyone that you dont have the papers you are good .

My friend relocated to mexico with his dad ( mexico is more easy to get into) then then crossed over the US boarder worked odd jobs , saved a lot and applied or their papers and they got it smiley

NOTE: I dont recommend the above because the truth is that you know the system in nigeria and it is easier to make it in nigeria , make money in Nigeria and you will be coming here to charge phone like its nothing.

I wouldn't say they are lying. Lets be honest. There is nothing here. England as a whole is expensive. Like you suggested America is better. America is where you will find a lot of opportunities.

Hey guys, i couldn't post a savings this week, because i am putting the money towards rent for my new place and Christmas vacation for myself and my wife. Does anyone have a suggestion about the best city to spend Christmas and new year's eve in the USA?, I was thinking about Las Vegas or New York, or maybe Los Angeles or Atlanta, i actually have no idea.

Definitely Los Angeles. There is so much to see and do. Plus it's has warm climate, so it would be like being in Nigeria again. But like I said there's so much to do. I wish I could move there.

Not necessarily. My former colleague in Nigeria who came to Canada 3 years before i did is a manager at one of BC's government agencies, and he has only being in Canada for 5 years. Though he has about 15 years of experience in Nigeria and guess what, they refused to make him even a supervisor or team lead in Nigeria because of "man know man" syndrome. Well, the guy earns about $109,000 a year now compared to the 435,000 naira he earned in Nigeria.

shocked shocked shocked WOW! Looks like he made the right decision by moving to Canada.

I am a permenent resident. I actually got my PR visa 2013, but like i said i had a good job in Nigeria and wasn't in a hurry to travel. I decided in 2014 to come to canada and stay, but i could only survive 2 weeks in Canada and i ran back to Nigeria because i did not still have the balls to surrender my job in Nigeria. I came back again in 2015 to Canada thinking i would stay, but after 2 weeks i went back to Nigeria because i still didnt have the courage to make the transition. But in 2016, my PR visa was about to expire, so i had to make a final decision, NIGERIA or CANADA? at that moment, I had to make up my mind and leave Nigeria and i have been in Canada since. Now, My sister came to Canada immediately we got the PR visa and she is now a citizen. Assuming i had left Nigeria immediately we got the visa, I would have been a citizen by now. But i guess God's time is the best. I will become a citizen by next year.
Canadian citizenship process is one of the best i have seen, maybe after or before that of Ireland, if i am correct. You spend 3 straight years as a PR and you qualify for citizenship provided you have no serious convictions and no bankruptcy claims. Write a test of 20 questions and that is it. Once you pass, you are sworn-in a few weeks later as a citizen.

First of all. I just want to say congrats on getting into your masters program. I actually just got my Masters degree in IS too here in England.
Tbh, I'm surprised you kept leaving to go back to Nigeria. I've been trying to convince my brother to go to Canada. But he is procrastinating. Next time I speak to him I'll be sure to mention the fact that he can leave for a while to go back if he gets cold feet.

Yep them don plenty everywhere. Had similar experience when I was looking for a flat on kijiji, a colleague mentioned she had same experience too. Anyway Naija 101 should keep us alert.. Canada no mean say foreign fraudsters no dey. Lets all be alert as usual. When I came here.. I was on one of them streaming sites, next thing I get one of those pop up ads n it says my computer had been locked and I should call "Microsoft" for a technician to unlock it. I called the number and someone with an accent picked and said I have to pay. My antenna started standing at that point, but I was freaking out, cos I couldn't leave the screen. I googled Miscrosoft care and the number was different from the one on my screen and the person was still blabbing. Anyway, I called my bro and he told me it was a scam, that I should just turn off the wifi and turn off my computer. na so I escape oh. While this was going on, I called my bank immediately and blocked all my cards "forst".. This happened less than a week after I landed so I was pretty shocked.

Phising scam (social engineering) please beware guys
