In a bid to run away from the hardship in nigeria nigerians run into worse situations. But seriously of all places one should run to for succor why Lybya. Is nigeria not presently better than libya? Libya was relatively ok when Gaddafi was alive not now. Our government and selfish politicians should equally be blamed for chasing us out of nigeria.

Exactly! Of all places? Why Libaya?

Someone who has never left his village asking if I don't know how black people are treated abroad? Please spare me that, the typical liberal black loves to play the victim. I don't see how it's a crime to ask for a favor from a black man. There was no racism in the request and he saw racism where there was none.

The joke is on you because I don't live in Nigeria, I live in America and have been for a very long time. I don't leave in a village, my family are from Lagos, I am a real Lagosian, BROAD STREET to the core. We are not from Enugu or Abekota and now residing in Lagos. I'm talking real LAGOS, LAGOS. So miss me with all the BS grin It is people like you that make white people feel like they can treat us anyhow. Keep making excuses till they stab you in the back grin that is when you eyes will clear cool Greet your village people for me sha.

Anyways guys, something similar happen to some guy at a bank recently https://twitter.com/dijiaderoGBA/status/824002938003718144 Yet some clowns want us to believe it has nothing to do with racism. Boy bye!

I thought I wouldn't find someone with common sense to see that the black guy acted like a baby. Typical black American NIGGER, or should I say typical black man. Always playing the victim. They only asked him if they could stay there since they were a group. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have done that if there was no other seat in the class. There must've been other empty seats, after all, he (the black guy) asked if they wanted to bring another seat close to them. But as a typical NIGGER, he made it a case of racism where there was none. And what's worse, he was even being disrespectful by throwing random stereotypical 'White' names at them. They just a asked a simple question, politely, and he made a stupid scene out of it. And guess what? NIGGERS in America and diaspora will cheer him on. This is why the white man has little to no respect for us. If I were among the other group, upon realising that it was another crybaby self entitled racist NIGGER that I was talking to, instead of staying there and letting him make a scene out of nothing, I'd just move along and find another place with enough free seats for our group of friends to move together.

I can imagine the 'outrage' and 'anger' that would develop if a white guy had started calling a group of black people random ghetto names like Jamal, Tyrone, Taqeuisha and so on. But its OK because they're white.

Sh*t like this is the reason why Trump is President.

Excuse me undecided if someone asked you to get up from your seat, would you? Listen you dont understand how black people abroad are treated cuz if you did you wouldn't spewing such nonesense.

ETHIX:
Don't blame those bank staff as they are deprived of so many benefits promised them over the years. Some are not happy at all. Some are 8 years on the same level without promotion. No promotion or salary increment.

If you are a graduate and aspiring to become a banker in those new generation banks I pity you. They make your life miserable and ensure you continue working as a contract staff for 4 years and more. Most banks don't care about their staff welfare. It is so annoying that after promising them good welfare package, they refuse to honour their pledge.

How will such staff be happy. Some are not happy at all and the industry is capitalist in nature with self centered mgt using their staff salary to increase the balance sheet.

If this continues, the service will worsen. You see banks declaring huge profits but it does not reach the middle and lower level staff. Even the branch mgt are not happy with the conditions of the lower staff. The loyalty is lost btw employees and employers.

I totally agree with you. I actually use to work in customer service and use to make a lot of money, but I wasn't happy with my job. I can imagine what it is like for those are making next to nothing and work long hours in a place like Nigeria.
Business / Re: Customer Service: Best And Worst Bank Branches On The Island by Tominiola: 2:34pm On Jan 24, 2017
The easiest way to ease the stress on everyone is if retail stores and banks have alternative pay in services. I.e pay cash in via envelope and use machines rather than queuing. By now, stores in places like Shoprite and other major retails stores should have self-check out sections. These two things can help Nigeria.

GTBANK and STANBIC IBTC are still my best banks.
They've empowered customers to run things.
I can't remember when last I entered a banking hall thanks to their 737, online banking and multiple alternative channels.

Those Complaining about banks are those who have refused to move with the times. Apart from cash deposits and withdrawals you can do virtually everything without visiting a branch.

I disagree. There are people who don't know how to use smartphone talk less of computers, so they have no other choice but to go into the bank.

He is like a mystery shopper. He goes into banks to observer the environment and then writes a report. They do it a lot in the UK and US. In fact mystery shoppers get paid. It's a brilliant idea. It helps put customer workers in check cuz their branches will be rated on how well they did as compared to another branch.

If Nigeria is going to flourish people need to start being honest with themselves and those around them. From the small I've seen it seems like a lot of people like to package tooo much. It also occurred to me that some people will do anything for money, ANYTHING! It's rather sad. We need leaders who care about us. Nigeria is meant tothe giant of Africa, but it's doesn't seem like it is

They are everywhere in Lagos.

I can remember two experiences.

First was along Funsho Williams avenue. Two guys saw me walking towards them, before I passed them, one of the drew my attention.

He told me they were going to fadeyi and they have no money on them. so I gave them enough to take them there.

Fast forward to like three weeks later. This same guys met me, one the same Funsho Williams avenue and they still told me the same cock and bull story. I just laughed and told them I ain't gat none. They were kinda smart too because you they switched this time, thinking I won't remember their faces.

The Second one was in C. M. S. A well spoken man approached me in a bus Going to the mainland. He kinda was well dressed too. He told me he doesn't have money to pay for his "t-fare"to Obalende. So I gave him.

The next day this same man met me in the same C. M. S. And he told me another cool story... Omo I change am for am o!

What they also do now. Is that, they will get on the bus with you, and form like they have lost their money, then they will beg you to pay for them. They are all over Mushin and Oyingbo. Some Lagosians Ehn.

He's definitely working for someone, he probly has a target he has to deliver to his boss on a daily basis.

Now this kind of fraud does not surprise me, it has been in existence for over a decade just that now they're involving children. During my undergraduate days (first year), there was this fat woman that we ran into our lecture hall wailing that her son (who is also a student) is terribly sick at the school health center and she has spent all the money on her and he's dying. You need to see the big big denominations flying towards her direction. We were over a hundred in that hall and almost everybody dropped something. Fast forward a few months later (second year), I was in engineering lecture thearter with some friends only to see this same woman again, same cloth same story shocked. As usual, people jumped and dropped huge amounts of cash. I was only able to stop those around me, one guy didn't even believe me and he ran forward to donate N500. During my final year, this woman came again to my faulty with the same sob story angry. Good thing I wasn't the only one that recognised her, most of us just remained on our seats and watched her perform film show. Anyone that attended UNILAG around 2003 to 2008 must have encountered this woman at least once.

Some people can't make an honest naira even if their lives depend on it.

Wow! This is rather sad! That lady is piece of woek
