God bless you for looking at her outbursts objectively. You see in this our country Nigeria, there is a mindset. That mindset is that of class distinction. Driver, house boy, house girl, gate man, cleaner, cook, steward etc.
You'll hear them say... Call me MY DRIVER " where is my cook? What is my cleaner doing? Do this people have names? Address them by their names!!! Please call Emmanuel for me. Not call my driver.
If a family of say 5 goes out to church,shopping or anywhere, I can tell who the house girl is amongst the kids. It's shows. Rags is what some wear or slippers, while the kids wear shoes, canvas etc.
We need to change our mindset about all these people doing services. Menial labourers, artisans of all trades are humans!! If you can't spend on them, atleast show some respect. Please. No successful person that is not dependent on this "menial services".
So when you see someone who takes care of her driver, then commend her. It's a far departure from the norm around here. Driver that people hardly respect? I know some bosses that won't even allow their driver eat in their houses, or step inside the living room!!

What a weird thing to say, it's almost as if she's more concerned about the money spent trying to save his life. A good doctor will still battle to save your life even if he suspects you're going to die, ICU care per day costs a whole lot of money anywhere in the world

If you don't know what to say just keep quiet. Pray you are not in her shoes. Travel abroad and see. Hospitals would advise families of patients about what they feel, the risk and all, what to expect, chances of Surivival etc. Here no, they can do all things! In the end, it's deceit. Seriously, throughout last 2 weeks Twitter has been opening without VPN. Ask around. This is not a lie matter.

Wrong...The university committee will never allow you to deflate their ego. They have a law department and you are hiring 1 or two lawyer to drag a case! I would rather advice the guy to pleade for suspension if guilty, instead of trying to take the bull by a broken horns. Test the waters all times. The student took the correct step. Presidents, governors, senators and the likes are not gods! We need to be aware of that fact. Truth be told, he is being oppressed for his political views-which should not be, especially in the confines of a Citadel of learning. A governor of a state is a public 'servant', all the money he has amased legally and or illegally cannot alter that fact. Someone whose salary is paid by tax payers money should be a rallying point for all citizens and not their emperor.
When you see an institution take sides in politics then understand that the state pays it's bill. Like they say: "he who pays the piper detects the tune" . A simple phone call to the registrar would do. Tell your people, if that boy is not removed, I will sack the board.... Just an example.
Unfortunately, this is the clime we live in. As I stated earlier, the student made the right move. The university is doing 'eye service'. Follow the news, and you'll see that the state government will disassociate itself and the governor from the matter. If the governor was offended he should have sued him directly. I don't know how long the matter will take but the student will win. Watch.

I remember Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey said "they will work towards restoring access to Nigerians as they believe in open Internet and free speech" . As we speak, twitter is going through without VPN.
