Politics / An Open Letter To Nigerian Youths by tommyeddy(m): 3:30pm On Aug 31, 2018
I want to believe that every concerned Nigerian youth is not too happy about the current state of Nigeria most especially the economics sector, although Nigeria is called out of the recession period she was once in, things aren't going too well with the economy of the Nation as she is now considered as the poorest Nation there is on the planet! Embarrassing but far from being a lie as Nigeria is known for living in poverty while in Riches as infrastructural developments are well below standards and there is high level of corruption of politicians and organisation that are entrusted to provide services to the good people of Nigeria.
It is not far from the truth to say that one of the reasons the current buhari administration was voted in was because of the high level of corruption by the previous administration of Goodluck Jonathan, and after Buhari took over we can actually say he has really tried to tackle corruption but can we say he is tackling corruption squarely as most of his party members are accused of money laundering and he has turned deaf ears to to this. About the economic challenges of the country, I think the current administration is actually trying as it has always seen fighting corruption as the major challenge facing Nigeria, but now that the economy has seem a meltdown, who is to blame? Definitely not buhari because we we cannot expect a president who is over 70 years who's manifesto read out the doom it will bring to corruption in Nigeria and not taking cognisance of the failing economy and the decline in the education sector among many others.
Truly, Nigeria needs a selfless leader, probably someone like buhari but don't you think he's too old for that and has no clear cut contingency to tackle other problems Nigeria is being faced with including unemployment. A president like late umaru yar'adua won't be too bad as we saw how he worked on his 7 point agendas, increased minimum wage, increased Armed Forces salary, increased NYSC allowance, increased police salary, reduced petrol price among others just within two years in office. If we want Nigeria to grow to greater heights, we'll be needing a leader without a criminal record of any kind who will not allow the laundering of public funds and a man who has by means made the economy of Nigeria better either through his business or other contributions which have proved successful. A man like Aliko Dangote isn't far from this picture as he's a well known individual, one of the richest personality in Africa with a lot of mind blowing decisions which has led to his status of today except the fact of lack of political interest. Until Nigeria start using individuals like him, or other compatriots rather than Nigeria being used, we'll just be seen as a Nation in a vicious cycle of failed management as there won't be any change in the standard of living of the average Nigerian.
With this, I employ to all Nigerian youth putting tribal differences aside to think wisely about whWith this, I employ to all Nigerian youth putting tribal differences aside to think wisely about who to hand Nigeria to for the next four years come 2019 because a wise man once said " youths will be the leaders of tomorrow when they start making ruling decision from today". We should not by any means let our nation to be put into jeopardy. Let us all voice this out on social media. And who is stopping him? Same way nobody stopped him from speaking up for himself throughout the elections period but he chose rather to hide behind his loud mouth mercenary Fayose. Now he has lost and suddenly finds his voice again in the absense of fayose this time who has abandoned him to his fate.

If he has damning evidence, are you privy to it?

I saw the absurd mathematics some uneducated PDP propagandists were pushing as damning evidence of the election figures and one glance at it was all it tool for me to figure out their rather glaring error.

Eleka has no case and you know why?

The results were electronically transmitted to inec and before this was done from each polling centre, the various party agents signed off on the results given at each centre and kept their own records. PDP party agents all attested to the results by signing off on them. Inec only received the end process and read out the total figures which were all gotten from each LG and by extension each ward and each polling centre.

The election was extremely transparent and everyone knew this which meant the only window of altering anything was vote buying which both parties did to the best of their abilities.

To the victor goes the spoils.
what is this one saying?
so you are telling me that INEC posted the results at every polling unit as they said they will do?
or are you telling me that you do not know that the total votes of apc and PDP is more than the total votes cast announced by INEC?
Or can someone explain to me why INEC after uploading the results brought it down after noticing their unprofessional rigging skills?
and I guess you'll be able to explain how an electronically transmitted result was not announced until the next day?
or maybe tell me why the PDP party agents were sent out of the coalition room?
so it's better you shut the hell up and let justice take its course instead of bringing out some bogus points!

true though
cos I don't know how INEC announced the total votes cast to be lower than the total votes the APC and PDP had.

My brother, Fayose is a total failure.
I can't verify the OP position but honestly Fayose is nothing to write home about.
With all his posturing, he is owning 11 months pension again, over 6 months salary arrears and there is not a single project to show he is spending funds on anything.
Ah ah bros.....no projects!!!, what do you call the fly over, modern markets and constructed road- charity abii.....what do you even expect....this is a man that reads to the hearing of Ekiti people how much the allocation is and how it will be distributed....and goes in line with the Federal Allocation Stats being released monthly....oya tell me....is he now directing the 'money' to his house....and you are talking like you are not aware of the huge debt the state is into....pls kindly make researches b4 criticising....thank you

nothing to show for it?

What has the rice ekiti very small fraction people eat once in a year show?

You mean political projects?
So, you prefer that bad belle politics where one administration will abandon the other project of previous administration just because they are political enemies?

Who suffers in this retarded political game if I may ask?

Can you honestly say that ekiti are better off now under fayoshe than they were under fayemi?

If yes, list why? Also, tell us what fayoshe has done differently from fayemi?
Now I like this type of thinking. What I am trying to bring out is that you don't need to fully blame the man. And believe me politics has to be played. I understandyou clearly, and I am not being judgemental about it but look there are not enough funds and I really appreciate fayemi for whathe did but the resort should be able to make money for maintaining itself....now if you were in his shoes, you would have done the same. A state where there is low fund and the people are expecting a lot from you. Man, believe me but you will be left with nothing to do but to start your own project....and who knows.....he might still look into it before the end of his tenure wink

I would have ignored a tout like you, but it's obvious you need someone to tell you how uncouth you are.

Go through my previous post again, and tell me where I insulted anyone. Stomach infrastructure has never, and can never equate social infrastructure quote me anywhere.

With the way you are vehemently defending your beloved governor, it seems you depend on stomach infrastructure to survive, what a pity! When you get to other states you won't know how to use the "CR" comfortably cos your state does not have such amenities.

Every good government that has got a good plan borrows, look at Lagos is it not doing well?

Look at your poorly constructed English, instead of you to use your time wisely to develop your self, you are busy defending a politician.
"Seems it look like" in one sentence? Gosh! You suck!
