Hello house,

I got the attached mail from the embassy now.

Please I need help as to what exact step(s) to take if am to get the correction done ASAP. How do I get the SL with the embassy? And do I have to return it back to Germany before new one can be issued?

My AD was August 13th and I have limited time.

I will appreciate all the help I can get so as to save time.

Thanks.
Are you using SL or BA? which ever you are using, If you have not sent it, try and send it. That is the stuff there. Congrats to you

For those asking for my transcript. ... here is it

We are sorry for the incident before your interview. Please while appealing, try and pay attention to some of these from your transcript
There is nothing you can do about your age cos I may think its not expected of you to do another Bsc at this age. You have to cover this by..
1. Presenting a strong appeal here with a strong motive for travel(study),
2. Convincing facts correlating your first Bsc and the intended and since your course is not that related,
Why this course? should be tackled with good facts and reason.
3. Pls back the above with strong and good resume that shows some experience if you didnt and pls package it so that it relates to what you want to study)

VO.. Do you have any questions for me?
Me. . Do i need to submit some of my photocopies that are missing?
VO...No, it is immaterial at this time

From the above, she had already made her decision thats why she said it is immaterial at that time

6. Get all the documents that were missing on that day and also find others you need to add. if you are married put your MC and children BC
Every points here and others which our Bro/Sis will add, should be in a detailed and well constructed appeal letter including your BA confirmation letter
We will join our faith with yours and victory will be sure
Regards and best wishes

If your school is in Hamburg, the alien office treats your application and you should expect to get your AM from the Consulate any working days after the 23rd day from the date of your interview

Good Day Guys.

I just joined this forum with the aim of starting my Germany journey ASAP after recent refusals from Canada.

I sincerely appreciate all the contributions that are made in this forum.

I have a few questions please but first let me share my background.

I have HND in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with upper credit. I also have over 8 years working experiences in Engineering working with companies in Nigeria.

I am also concluding a HND to Degree conversion program this month where I will earn BTECH in Electrical/Electronics Engineering and I am targeting 2.1.

I have also seen some schools at the DAAD website that offer Engineering masters program for 2020 summer intake which I can apply directly or through uniasist.

My question is, if I apply through uniassist, will they send my application to any school that I choose or schools they think matches my profile. Also, do I have to pay uniassist for each of the schools or the 75Euros covers for all the schools that I am applying through them?

Also, can I start applying to these schools with my HND transcripts and conversion admission letter that I have already, pending when my HND to Degree conversion transcripts will be ready.

I will also appreciate if anyone can forward sample motivational letter and recommendation letters to my email kanzj2010@gmail.com.

Thanks guys in anticipation.

You are very much welcome
Uni-assist will only send your documents to the school(s) you are applying to
There are some schools that you dont need to pay e.g TU Berlin and few others. If it requires processing fee, its 75 euros. If you apply to more than a school, you pay 30 euros each for subsequent application. Two schools will be 105 euros and so on.....
On whether you can use ur HND and conversion admission letter!! First you may need to put a mail to the course coordinator in your desired school cos only him can give you a concrete answer. Though I have heard a few case of getting admission with HND this thread, but like I said only the school can give you that info otherwise you may just need to wait for the conversion degree and transcript. Please find out from the school before you start with uni-assist(stand to be corrected on the HND thing)
In this German waka, you dont need a recommendation letter. Google is your friend cos there are loads of motivation letter/statement of purpose samples on the internet. Always know that there is diff between motivation required by the embassy and by schools
Hope this help

Thanks for your contribution. Yes, she excused herself twice but i'm pretty sure it wasn't to ask any question related to me. The first time, a young lady (don't know if she's a VO too) came to gist with her, she said something about $2,000 if i remember correctly. So she excused herself & went in to talk with her & some other people. I could hear their voices talking, she did same the second time.

To be honest, I really didn't like her attitude during the interview. I expected her to be more professional with the whole thing. There was no phone, and she practically expected me to shout; I really didn't like that at all. And she kept asking is that all? when I answered her questions. I don't know what she saw, she probably made up her mind about me even before the interview was over.

The questions she asked me were:

Why Germany?
Why this course?
Why not English speaking Countries?
Do I speak German?
Do I know anyone in Germany?
What do you know about Germany?
My BSc thesis
The Course i studied
My CGPA
My plans after study

As for my docs, they are pretty straightforward & I can't think of anything that may be wrong with them.

Thanks once again.
Try and do a thorough check on all your documents, All your school documents, admission letter, your names on all these, discrpancies etc. Dont leave any behind do a thorough one. The next is your motivation letter
The reason am saying to do a thorough check is that you will need to address any lapses with a strong letter/motivation
Dont also forget to contact those you've been ask to

In addition to what the ogas here contributed so far, what I perceived is that the VO wasn't absolutely impressed by your motivation seeing that you graduated from school since 09 that's quite a while now looking at the recent update of the consulate booking system for the category iss. I believe had it been you provided the VO with sufficient proves like your professional engagements linking your long gap since your graduation it would have been a successful process. and again I perceive that the VO is in doubt to correlate physics and computer simulation in science which still boils down to how sufficient you could convince the VO beyond every reasonable doubt.

Hence, enough said there is still hope and really remarkable way forward. which is for you to appeal. To me, I will advise you to

1. Repackage your ML bridging the gaps and doubts, you really need to do a great job on your motivation letter (ML) .,

2. Try to include all necessary documents to show that you are already enrolled student to support your admission letter,

3. Add your proof of sustainance and ensuring that your data are correct .

please do not hesitate to contact dolpaz, he will be of invaluable assistance in this matter.

Above all, remain optimistic in God because it is already a won battle for you. It will end in praise.

best regards.
From ma opinion the gap isnt the problem since the course is related. ma case is 12 yeas that I left school and no such issues. If you go through his transcript carefully, you will see that there were some issues on that day. This should be his first point of reference to identify where the issues are. He has to do that first in additon to all other good solutions you've profered.
We just wish him the very best

Hello guys, I need help.

Had my interview last week Thursday, I got a rejection together with my docs yesterday. The reason for the refusal is:

"There are doubts concerning the indicated purpose of your trip as well as the ability to study."

I intend to appeal but I need help especially from people who have experienced this & successfully appealed afterwards.

Contributions are highly welcome.

Hello guys, I had my interview at the German embassy yesterday & it was largely uneventful.

Got inside, waited maybe 10 mins & was asked to enter cubicle 2. The VO was a young, dark lady with long braids. She was kinda casual with her approach & actually excused herself to go gist twice while she was asking basic questions & typing away on her pc. I was like, really? I sighted the the woman with the coloured dreadlocks inside too.

She didn't even signify when the interview proper started, the questions were the usual questions here, & she didn't even ask me half of the questions I was expecting. However she kept asking is that all? when I answered the few questions she asked me.

Now, the part that I really did not like was that there was no phone (or i didn't see one) from my own end of the partition. She practically expected me to shout, which I didn't like at all. I mean I can almost reach out & touch her if not for the glass partition & you expect me to shout like we are 10 meters apart? I didn't think that was good enough.

The last question she asked me was my plans after study, I answered her & she told me the interview was over. I'm not sure I even said thanks, just gently packed my stuff & left. Another odd thing was, she didn't verbally ask me about funding or advise me to fund immediately like I have read about for some VOs on here. Although, she gave me two other forms to fill which covers the issue of funding & the email it should be sent to.

That's pretty much about it. Good luck with everyone.
The first step to sloving any problem is the identification of the problem. If you ask me, I can say there were really some issues during your interview....please check the bolded from your interview transcript

1. You said it was quite uneventful
2 While the interview was on, she excused herself twice while asing basic ques. There may be things she was asking about your document or.....
3. She didnt even signify when the interview started. She may have spotted somethings that she feels may/would disqualify you, but just need to conclude or carry on
4. She didnt even ask you half of the questions you were expecting!! What question did she really ask or stressed on?
5. I'm not sure i even said thanks!! This shows there were issues with the whole process
6. Another odd thing was, she didn't verbally ask me about funding or advise me to fund immediately like I have read about for some VOs on here.....This can tell you funding isn't the real issue
Brother like I said earlier check your documents very well, I mean every of your documents.
What was it that made her excuse you twice. that could be the main issue??
After all the checks and corrections, you can then appeal with your SL and we join our faith with yours that things will turn around for your good
Best wishes

1. I opened a Fintiba account & went with the make the transfer doc. I haven't funded as I intend to use SL. My sponsor just got the SL yesterday & informed me, I got a call from the courier service about 10 mins after I got the news that the SL was ready. The VO didn't ask me any question about funding, though she gave me 2 forms to sign to that effect.

2. Enrollment deadline is October 31st.

3. Begische Universität Wuppertal

4. MSc Computer Simulation in Science, specialization is Imaging in Medicine. Yes it relates, my UG degree was Physics. Had a 2:2, 3.42 Cgpa, graduated 09.

I thought I did well in the interview, maybe the VO wasn't just impressed enough.

From ma view on the bolded, the rejection is not BA related but basically has to do with either of these
1. Poor performance in your interview
2. Poor motive to convince the VO(Motivation letter)
Do you have a conditional admission or any related issues with your school or documents?

I suggest when appealing, take time to write a good motivation letter as someone had pointed out, try and block or send the SL
This time also try and check the SL very well to ensure that its ok
Wish you God's Best as everything will turn around for your good

Go to Turkish airlines directly and not an agent to get the student discount to get that price. And if they don’t agree, call the Abuja office, they have the option of doing everything online.
