Hello everyone

I recalled a sad experience I had with a friend from another faith while I was in school and I've decided to share to see if anyone has any similar experience too.

I schooled in a Northern Nigerian state owned university.
I had this close friend of mine whom I'll call Musa (not his real name)

In 2016, Musa and I were having a conversation and he said something that made me sad then and still saddens me each time I remember.

Musa was telling me how wayward his cousin sister now is, that she dresses so bad that she now exposes her body so much.

Musa then went on to say, "the way she dresses now is so wayward that even a Christian won't dress that way"

I quietly asked myself if Christianity is now the yardstick to measure immorality

I felt really bad because this is truly how most people from other religions genuinely see Christians.

If we truly want to follow Jesus, let it reflect in our character, dressing, speech, relationship and everything. Let people truly see Jesus in us. Jesus is all we have, we shouldn't soil his name and make it synonymous to scanty dressings and indecent lifestyles.

I tried putting up a post here titled the Christian, the god-man and the fullness of God, to describe how people can walk in dominion and truly know whom they are in Christ, but shortly after I started the post, arguments started coming from left, right and centre.

Some argued maturely , while some were arguing out of ignorance, I had to leave the thread, cos I wasn't ready for such arguments.


The reason I continued with this one was because I knew many people weren't Knowledgeable in this aspect.

It's unfortunate that I'll soon leave nairaland, probably sooner than expected and I won't be able to continue with the thread.

I have also made up my mind to deactivate this account when I leave, cos I can't cope where there's strife and contention, I'm totally allergic to it.

No, before a witch comes after you, they try their best to gain some knowledge about you, especially knowledge of ones weaknesses.

This is why when they try all they can to get you and don't succeed, they try to make you sin against God, cos they know sin can separate one from God.

Some and their family members are regular customers in hospitals... Yet they know scriptures.

1 - I guess I saw him in his glorious form as a child in dream. I couldn't look at his face because a very bright light radiates from his face like the trans figuration. His robes was gloriously White.


2 - In his earthly form, it was early last year. I closed my eyes and saw him and he looks almost as exact as the picture uploaded by the Op.
I remember waking up and telling my friend that "I think I saw Jesus".... I wrote it down in my diary. Even though it happened in split seconds, I still remember how he looks.


Glory to God that he showed himself to an unworthy sinner like myself...

early last year, I just closed my eyes and in a flash I saw Jesus and it looks very, very close to this picture.

as soon as I saw Him, the picture faded away and my Spirit knew that it was Jesus. It didn't last up to 2 seconds.

when I saw him, I couldn't tell if he was black or White but Love radiates from his face�

what's their main aim? like why do they target people who have done them no wrong?

How can their power be totally broken over a life and family?


I once heard someone said that if a far-away witch wants to destroy a person, she'll use another witch close to that person, is this true?

EnthronedbyGod may the grace of God be with you. I don’t comment on Religion thread and avoided commenting on this but you have succeeded in forcing me out.
You started this thread condemning the catholic hierarchy but i continued to follow even encouraged others to follow it as you have some expository that will enrich people spiritually.
Unfortunately, along the line, you left the mission of expository of spiritual aspect of cultism and delved into Catholic Church and trying hard to turn this beautiful thread into a denominational bashing and counter argument.
Please face the cult you are well versed in and stop drawing unnecessary attention because Catholics hardly reply such bashing.
I am highly amazed that not less than 10 years after your conversion, you are now an authority in catholic doctrines that have withstood centuries, starting from the dark ages to the present. You questions the infallibility of pope (I bet you do not know what it means), priests unmarried life, intercession of the saints etc.
@tabletman being attacked in his spirit and dreams after coming in contact with this thread is in another level entirely and I regret ever encouraging anybody to continue with this thread.

I simply asked because of the "queen of heaven" being the same as Allah comment.

I can't condemn the catholic church of which I am still part of; even though I don't believe in 1 or 2 teachings.

The Op @enthronedbyGrace spoke about Jesus multiplying in a page I can't really remember now.

I had a similar dream last year that I'll like to share too. It was so real that I wrote it down in my diary.

In this dream, I was praying for someone and Jesus appeared and was looking at me in a loving way. Then all of a sudden He (Jesus) began to multiply and fill the church. He was on my left, on my right, sitting almost on every pew in the church, he was standing at the back, in fact, he was literally everywhere and I was im awe.
I woke up amazed and confused so I wrote it down.

Note: I am not a preacher, neither am I a pastor or an outspoken person, I don't even consider my self as being spiritual, hence the confusion.


Let me share 2 more dreams I had a little boy of around 7 years old.

I slept and saw a mine in white shiny robe which I knew was Jesus. I couldn't see his face because it was so bright and so much light radiates from his face and that made it impossible for me see his face.
He took me to a place where an Empty throne was. There was no one on the throne but I heard a voice from it which I knew was father God. I can't remember everything he said to me now because I was too little to even think of writing them down. The only thing I remember Him saying to me was that, "I'll be with you always "...
Because of this dream, my parents casually told me that I'll join the alter boys but I never did.

Truly, God has been faithful despite my unfaithfullnes. I mostly tell people that bad things don't happen to me because of this dream.



Again, around that same age (7 or , I went to church in a dream and as a catholic, we mostly bow our head before entering the church the church.

so before entering the church, I bowed down my head and when I raised my head up, I saw the stature of Jesus bowing down to me too.
What amazed me was that the stature which was made of concrete became flexible enough to bow down to me.

After that dream I realised that impossibility before God is just a word; there's no impossibility in Him.

I'll give you my honest opinion about the catholic church and I pray it doesn't stir up any strife.

I have a lot of reservations concerning the catholic church cos of their misleading doctrines, that's why i've never stepped my foot there since I became born again.

1- There is nothing like purgatory. It's a lie
2- The veneration of the pope and the claim that he's infallible and the successor of Peter is a lie and idolatry.
3- The prayer made through saints and the false claim of Mary being a means to get to God is idolatry.
4- The use of the rosary and the physical cross is idolatry.
5- The believe that the bread and wine taken during communion is the actual body and blood of Jesus is false doctrine and idolatry.
6- The celibacy of reverend father and nuns is a doctrine of seducing spirits( it should be of freewill and not compulsory)
7- Confession made to priests is idolatry.
8- The refusal to eat meats on certain days is a doctrine of seducing spirits.
9- Their belief in relics is idolatry.
10- The use of incense and candles is witchcraft and satanic.
11- The claim of the appearance of Mary in certain places is a lie, for that is the queen of heaven and not Mary.


Many other satanic teachings which I can't list here.

Have you wondered why Muslims use and have something similar to the rosary? It is thesame fallen angel bro, don't be deceived.

Also, after reading what you said about seeking for God's guidance for a church to attend. I prayed that night and slept. I had a dream that I went to church (catholic church) and people were not much in church so they asked us to move to the front. I was holding five thousand naira on one hand and a Bible on the other. It got me confused.


before this dream, last month I still dreamt that I took a bucket half full of raw rice to my church and left it at the church.

I lost my brother who has been sick since 29th of September 2018, on the 29th of may,2019. we traveled to the village to bury him on the 2nd of June. I then came back to the north where I reside.

when I got back, last week I then dreamt that there were two open graves in front of the compound we live and a the corpse in them were tied.
a woman now went into one of the grave, loosed the tied corpse because it was tied hand with a mosquito net like cloth; it was tied completely like someone that's not dead before being buried.

as soon as she loosed it, a skeleton stood up and came out of the grave. It came straight to me and began talking to me and passer byes were astonished as to why it was talking to just me and I woke up terrified.

please help me understand this dream...

please I've been having dreams where I'd just see a bible verse and I'll wake up...

1. 2 weeks ago, in my dream at night, I remember seeing " 1 Samual 5:4"
I woke up early in the morning and checked what's in that verse and it says,

"5:4 And when they arose early on the morrow morning, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the ground before the ark of the LORD; and the head of Dagon and both the palms of his hands were cut off upon the threshold; only the stump of Dagon was left to him."

2. I then had another dream where I saw the verse
"Ephesians 4:11"
I checked what was in the verse and it goes thus,

" And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers"

3. yesterday night in my dream, I saw kings dressed in the south south royal Regalia and I began hearing in my spirit that,
"seeth thou a man diligent in his work, and he shall sit in the company of kings"

I then woke up...

You are called to be an evangelist(as in the dream) and a prophet(Elisha following Elijah, seeing visions). You have the spirit of prophecy and you are also called to work miracles. Conducting deliverance on you means power of the Spirit because it is by the Spirit of the Lord that you can conduct deliverance accurately.

yesterday night I dreamt that I was following an evangelist or pastor. we were walking down the streets of the town. while walking with him, I was hearing in my mind that I'm following him the way Elisha followed Elijah.
we got to a certain place and he began telling me about how he prayed 7 prayers for my dad and God answered all; and since then, himself and my dad are now friends and connected...
He then started to pray for me and he took water and soap to wash my face saying," from today you shall start seeing visions"

he then started praying some deliverance prayers for me. I can't remember what he said he was delivering me off and I woke up.

is this dream ok please?

Actually, Lucky Dube was killed when, after dropping off his two kids at school...two men attempted to hijack his car, and shot him dead.

Both men were caught, and sentenced.

Nothing to do with being mistaken for Nigerian

the men confessed that they thought he (lucky Dube) was Nigerian....
