That aside, NATO as an organisation has an open policy meaning any European country can request to join. It's on the perogative of the members to decide who they accept or reject.

Russia has every reason to be worried about Ukraine joining NATO but a major reason why the world condemns Russia now is that Ukraine is a sovereign nation, just as Russia and the invasion is appalling because it is happening in the 21st century.

I am listening to the Ukrainian representative at the UN council meeting, He mentioned that Russia are killing and attacking their civilians but didn't mention the damages and how they are winning the war and how they have been resisting the Russian forces. Their is something missing which is pictorial evidence of the attacks. As it is now, it consist 27 European countries, while UK, USA, and France hold nuclear bomb alone. So why are u guys shouting USA name alone. Is it a crime to be a powerful country in the world?
