The problem with supporting injustice is that it will always come back to hunt the supporters one way or the other. Support the ban of hijab today, who knows what will be banned tomorrow?

Must you cover your face to practice a religion? What about a simple head covering? Banning hijab will put an end to that means of perpetrating terrorism. At least, no one will be able to conceal such things under hijab anymore. Why are you even so concerned about cultural dressing of the Arabs like this?

How many robbery cases have been reported in which soldier uniforms were used? Does that mean banning the use of those uniforms? or do we start asking every military man to authenticate his identity? We are not talking about armed robbery here, we are talking about TERRORISM being perpetrated under the cover of hijab! Armed robbery under any guise happens the world over, so dont confuse yourself and confuse others with aberrant argument.

And hijab is not Islam. Hijab is cultural dressing of the arabs. People of the Bible in those old days put on hijab too. Jesus Mother used hijab because it is a Jewish culture. Elizabeth-mother of john the baptist-used hijab. Though it was not called hijab, it was called veil. But they are one and same thing. Dont try to blinden us with religion here, we are not that backward.

And the men too hide under hijab. While am not saying banning hijab is the holistic solution, am saying it is part of the solutions. At least, possibility of carrying IED under hijab will be reduced to zero.

You and I know hijab wearing is part of the problems. Except you haven't been in this part of the world, you would know about suicide bombers hiding under hijab. And for your information, there is nothing spiritual or religious about hijab wearing. It is simply a way of dressing of the Arabs. So, you guys are just copying dress code of the Arabs....nothing more.

Some other countries have banned hijab and heaven didn't fall. It is only in nigeria that we religionalize everything. Wetin dey do us sef?

Well, it is against the right of wearers of hijab to ban their veil. It is an established fact that the hijab is worn through the personal choice of the wearer even if it is religiously influenced. As such, it falls under the right to personal liberty. Hijab can't be banned except the government can prove that their is a correlation between Hijab and suicide bombing...this will be pretty difficult.

What else does the government have to prove? Haven't there been cases of female suicide bombers hiding IED under hijab? Or where have you been in the past couple of years? Nigeria or space?
