It wrong to believe that government should make money circulate by engaging in reckless spending as in the past. The truth is that our economy can only grow when local production and entrepreneurship are encouraged.

In other climes, banks conscientiously work to build customer base and develop the economy by providing funds and expert guidance to micro/small scale businesses as well as entrepreneurs with good ideas. Here in Nigeria, banks are on high horses servicing mainly importers, politicians and big companies.

In other climes, there are thousands of NGOs set up by wealthy people and big corporations to help people with excellent business ideas and poorly-funded going concerns. They organize business plan competitions to encourage entrepreneurship. In Nigeria, wealthy individuals sponsor candidates for elections while big corporations organize music concerts.

can you point out the reckless spending by the pasts govts? you dont stiffle the economy and expect the local production to grow. is the environment conducive for anyone to invest? millions lost their jobs within these 3 years. you talking about other climes, is your govt doing what other climes did to encourage all those you listed above to flourish here?

she complained about the unwanton killing of innocent nigerians by uniformed men. is that part of the efforts by the govt to encourage people to invest?
if the economy is bouyant, the money will automatically be in circulation.

corruption is a compound word that can be used for anything that negates morality. GEJ was only trying to explain to us that we shouldn't lump stealing or call stealing corruption. rather we should call them thieves instead of corruption. and he gave instance of someone going to the market to steal something and people are shouting thief thief thief, people around will descend on the person and give him the treatment of a thief, but if you catch a thief and be shouting corruption corruption, no body will look at you and the thief will go free. so he was just trying to tell nigerians not to see those stealing govt money as corrupt but as thieves.

first, the legislative arm is not an arm of any political party. the senate rules is that the senators should elect whoever they want as their leaders. the best the party that has the majority is to zone is to each position to geopolitical areas and anybody from that zone should be free to contest. but coming to tell them that this must be the person that must be the president is not democratic.

pdpd changing the senate presidents has no correlation with this. OBJ or PDP never imposed any senate president on the senators.

thats because of the allocation from the federal govt but those funds does not translate to physical infrastructural development in the state. Rivers state is just like every other state that are receiving lesser allocation

If the president of a country decides who becomes the senate President, of what use is the senate to the country? Every arm of government is supposed to be independent to check the excesses of the other arms. If the legislative arm becomes a rubber stamp of the executive, then they can do whatever they want to do at will without anyone opposing them. you were supposed to vote for 3 positions and you were accredited ONES for the different elections. you were not accredited separately for each election.

now you decide to vote for only the presidential election leaving out the two, the record should should read that you were accredited for the two you decided not to participate.
in summary, you were accredited ones for three separate elections meaning that the number of total accredited numbers for the three elections should be the same.
If in a PU, 300 were accredited to vote, the number of accredited voters for the individual election irrespective of the number of persons that voted for only presidential or both or the three elections. meaning that the number of accredited voters should be 300, that for the senate 300 and the HOR 300
