The question not answer by those in support of BBA is the morals behind the so called reality show. These days nobody reward ingenuity, creativity, high flyers in our schools are not encouraged talk less of being rewarded. It’s a sign of the end time (Romans 1: 28 says ..and even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge God gave them over to a REPOBATE mind to do those things which are not convenient). I don’t know how many fathers can stand and watch their kids doing all the ills of BBA becos of 100 Million $. The only reason why most people watch BBA is because of selfishness and a medium to gratify sensual appetite. The unfortunate thing is that our kids are no longer focusing on what is important to life but seeking after easy success. I hope Nigeria is going through 2nd Colonialsm, becos these days anything that comes from the so called developed countries is the vougue, even when its sensless. I know if some of us were alive durring slave trade we would have justify the acts. Gos will save Nigeria and Africa in general. The Europes and Americans are morally DOOMED. |
Ladies and Gentlemen of Nairaland, lets not derail from the point, no matter what Abiola did, the argument here is there was no justification for anulment of the June 12 election. Why are we asking for repatration, was it not our kinsmen who collected Gold from the whitemen and sold their fellow black brothers and sisters into slavery?. What is wrong is wrong, lets start thinking right |
To all d Greatest, make una leave Bad belle people, OAU Reign supreme OBA AWON UNIFASITY and AWO-HALL FOR LIFE |
abdulkayus: I read it on his page 2day written in Hausa language. Even me as a Muslim didnt agree 100% wit his postulations. Northerners dont lyk tellin theirselves d truth, dat is y dis religion intolerance, religion crisis will continue here and there if care is nt taken. Instead of lookin inward to solve their problem, dey lyk pushind blame on d other side.Thnx so much Abdul, with this type of post from a muslim I think there is hope for Nigeria, have a wonderful day and may God bless you |
usermane: HOLD IT!,HOLD IT!!,NAIRALANDERS I SAID HOLD IT!!!I dont know what defines insecurity if churches where innocent Nigerian go to worship are target of attacks Yes we all agree, anybody can switch from whatever faith, I dont have any issue with that but please inform the general NLders the evil of killing and maiming all in the name of faith Most NLders post comments on Pastors who they judge have gone excess, nobody have issue a death warrant, let be civil in dealing with each other |
This is beautiful, let them call Jesus whatever name they wish, its not new, even the Pharises did it yet the gospel continue to spread, am not afarid of sucide bombers, for me to die is great gain jerseyboy: 1. Christians are insecure not about their religion but their safety and lives with them being killed and maimed every Sunday. Islam is the aggressor and the ignorant cult masquerading as a religion. |
I dont have any problem with anybody converting from one faith to another, my crux is why becoming violent and forcefull when another convert fron Islam into Xtian Faith My advvice for both Xtians and other faith alike is dont fight for your saviour, defend your faith by telling everyone why you are a beliver in that faith, nobody can cover the truth forever There was a time christianity preach that the earth was flat untill a better understanding came and we all ebraced it and lived with it. When you go over the bend to kill and destroy or you defend those who commit such atrocities, then there is a question mark over what you said you believe. My advice to christians most especially Christians is dont be caught in web of hatred, Xtian faith is not isolation but insulation from this present systems. I wish everyone a merry CHRISTmas and may the reason for his coming into the world become evident in your life. |
Like Bitty say a lot of Nigerians are re-tards We make noise about everything which is a sign of joblessness Where is FARUK? what about Pension scam, stock exchange story |
Fashola is running the 2nd Leg of his tenure and as such he is not seeking re-election, so he can afford to pass any kind of law, but what legacy is Fashola trying to lay? Typically Nigerian, everyone has praised Him for a job fairly done in Lagos, now he want to rubbish it all, just like his elder brother OBJ with his 3rd Term tenure saga A SAN for that matter. Lets wait and see |
Dear NL, The exterior part of a religion does not matter much, although it is about this that people quarrel so bitterly, its inner meaning and experience that are of importance. The end and object of true religion is Divine union, and if another soul attains to this blissful state by different road from that which is the only one that can be used by us, let us be glad and praise God, instead of wasting our time explaining to him what is wrong and our way the only one. Our Lord said, ‘’other sheep I have which are not of this fold’’ It does not matter what is the fashion of the day, theology and doctrine changes from age to age, BUT THE TRUTH REMAINS THE TRUTH, ‘’and ye shall know the truth and the truth shall makes you free’’ Let us be careful how we hear, for what you hear can shape your world for good or evil In conclusion, what is peace, what is development, what is solution to human problem in real term? Atomic Bomb, Radiative Cancerous material, global warming, Arab uprising, abortion. There can never be any peace or development without union with the Divinity. Christ came to show us the way to the Father |
I wish everyone happy new year, if anyone listen to the debate in December, it was concluded that there was no alternative to subsidy removal unless we want to end up like Greece and other failing economy, that subsidy only enrich the high and powerful and the present set of govt official cannot deal with the cabals. My grouse with the Govt is 1. Why lie about the take off date (they promised April) ? 2. Why is it taken eternity to privatize PHCN (the more jobs) ? 3. Why is the railway still not working as promised (failed promises) ? 4. When will the private refineries take off? Finally, Falana and others said it plainly, the masses find it hard to trust the Govt because of past failed promises. I pray God will help Nigeria |
And how would you knoe this tribe of Yoruba that sells meat lol, I think even if they sell piss, as long as people are buying it, and they are not stealing, life goes on, I won't be able to know who comes from Yoruba that sells meat as I have seen Yorubas from Lagos, Osun, Kwarra, Ekiti, Ondo in the abattoirs all selling and killing cows, goats etc, So I don't really know which Yorubas are alapatas lol!!!!
Olumyde, jo shanu e, e be like say the guy get microscope to x-ray all meat seller, maybe him de sell HUMAN Parts |
Shell will provide light, water, good roads, schools, Hospital, so what will local govt provide, what will Sylva provide, What is the duty of the federal govt, when they are part of the joint venture. Form the statement from Madam Dieziani, the oil money is share by the joint venture. If Oil companies will provide all of the above what will govt do with thier portion. I think it will help the assembly member to take home 4 million per seesion, I hear one of them even ask us to revert to COINS, I imagine how he will carry his jumbo pay home. We are a bunch of people without priorities like Madam Okonji said. How many times have any community block the state Governors office. Soon we will ask Oil companies to provide us with wives and children |
This is where I always have issues with the Islamic followers, why force your views down the throat of all. There was a time SHARIA LAW was to be forced on all who reside in any northern state. I have never heard any state trying to force xtianity, Olumba, TB or juju worship on any body why must everything be BY-FORCE. Now BOKO H wants to govern Nigeria by force |
Pls don't get it wrong, Okonji did not recommend Islamic Banking system, she only said that interest free banking system is gaining ground over the world. A friend of mine who happen to know a lot about that form of banking system once told me that for any one to participate he must ssubscribeto the iIslamiciinjunctions This is where the whole issue get K Leg. |
NL my Sister result was released partially Only English was released Pls what is the next line of action |
Hello everybody, I would not have put in a word in to this thread if not for the direction the whole thing is heading. Let everybody do a bit of statistics and you will be so surprise of what u will arrived at The Bishop is a prolific writer, I can’t put on thread the number of books he chunk out in a year. The ministry investment into Estate is mind bugling, the list is endless The same church has built a state of the art university and the staffs are well paid I know of a man called Dangote and his worth/investments, he is one of the few Nigerians working hard and putting their mind to work. Take time to ask our NL moderator, he will tell u when u put your mind to work, you will find out that prosperity is a piece of cake. Let’s ask ourselves what have we achieve with the 1 talent God gave us. They say ordinary minds talk about people, while average minds talk about events, but GREAT minds talk about ideas (where do you belong to) GET TO WORK & SWEAT, then tomorrow Forum like this will be talking about you Shalom ![]() |
It’s so sad that creations of God can tear each other apart all in the name of the same God. I am Christian Yoruba and I remember my growing up days in Lagos, during Ed el Maloud all of us kid run to our Muslim friend home and eat the Ram together, during Xmas it’s our turn to share jolof rice with our Muslim friends. Our parents never raised eyebrow because we see each other as family. It’s so sad now, that even on a thread we can tear each other apart. History had it, that there was a time when the Roman Christians were killing fellow believer all in the name of God, so it’s not strange to see same thing in the Islamic religion today. The problem is not the religion, it is the people that help us to interprets it. They do it to suit their own interest and pockets. The question that I posse to every fanatics is how many of our Leader kids participate in the killings or how many have died like the poor, the answer is NONE. So they keep all their children in London and US and tell us to kill one another. Nigerian Lets wake up to the evils of our so call leaders. education is the greatest legacy that anyone can give to his people when you are educated you see and interpret issues better. al-Qaida and all the fanatics Leader feeds on the illiterates’ minds. When the Christian religion open up everybody saw the evil of the Romans. It can happen also in the Islamic sect I wish you all Happy new year and Nigeria will not die we have gone through worse Shalom |
A great entrepreneur was once asked to calculate what the outcome of investing the sum of 2000 Dollar at the rate of 20% per annum for 20 yrs will be, His reply I don’t know, the moderator said this has prove his point that the entrepreneur is uneducated and just lucky to have found himself where he was. The entrepreneur replied, I don’t have to crack my head with formulas that a 20 pence calculator can produce in 2 seconds and that was the reason why he employed an accountant. The great entrepreneur said he would rather busy himself with idea that will move his organization forward. Madam has chosen to focus on what is important, Nigeria first Lady. It is said that ordinary minds talk of people, while average minds talk about events, only great minds talk about idea, which class do you belong to ? Merry Xmas |
I don’t think anyone in this forum is saying that the sin of homosexuality is unforgiveable, The point is homosexuality is a sin (if we all agree) then what is the remedy REPENT !!! what does repent connotes? Make a U turn. Apostle Paul was a murderer, he repented (he stop the act), Davis did not justify the act of adultery (He cried to God In repentance). Why will you want to continue in sin and asking for the grace of God to abide in you. Read Rom 1:27-32 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. (KJV) The words of Words: Char¬lotte El¬li¬ott, since 1835 has not change in 2010 and it will never change Just as I am, without one plea, But that Thy blood was shed for me, And that Thou bidst me come to Thee, O Lamb of God, I come, I come. Just as I am, Thou wilt receive, Wilt welcome, pardon, cleanse, relieve; Because Thy promise I believe, O Lamb of God, I come, I come. This is what the Gospel says about same sex whether Lesbianism or Gay. If you want to be Christian, be one, don’t change the rule come as you are in full repentance God bless U |
NO capital no, I resfuse to take that analogy, This situation is like JOHNBULL in our nursery rhyme ''Johnbul my son I sent you to school you dont know how to spell your name'' Your kid is preparing to take WAEC and he cant spell his name He needs a brain surgery ![]() |
ori bibe (cutting d head) ko loogun (is not the prescription) ori fifo ( to Headache) *********************************** This simply means you don’t behead a man to solve his headache, but sometimes to avoid waste oribibe can become the solution, you don’t know how far Nigerian can go to perpetuate atrocities, madam Akinyuli did Oribibe to save Nigerian from the cabal, think about it |
When you see a mad man hair ruffled, washing and combing is not the solution. The problem of NFA, NFF, PTF, PHCN, PDP, and Nigeria, is deeply rooted, when you talk about Ghana, have you forgotten what Jerry did to bring sanity. We don’t have to kill anybody but if withdrawing from Int'l football to avoid distractions and lay a solid foundation to good football let it be. Our boys ( or should it be our daddy’s on the field) only play because of the money at stake, instead of Adenuga promising millions of dollars to overage and underperforming footballers let him contribute to football development. The sad thing about Nigeria is that everything is monetized, nobody cares about competency, performance, for goodness sake nairaland is here today because somebody thought It can be done. let us stop celebrating mediocrity. I will not be surprised if Ghana win the world cup: form U17, to U21, now they are gunning for the big one. when will the giant of Africa wake up. I believe we have all it takes to rule the world, Our problem has always been Leaders without vision: 2 bad |
God bless Goodluck, when OBJ sack NITEL the whole world wanted to crucify him, but look at the opportunities that Nigerians have been denied for so long, like I always say the problem of Nigeria is not religion, nor tribal, nor size and so on, the problem of Nigeria is basic: CORRUPTION Nigeria Hosted the U17 world Cup, what was the outcome, FIFA have to police us before we can build a stadia, NFF have to wait until 2 months before picking a coach to a world cup that takes place every 4 yrs. Why can’t NEPA provide uninterrupted power supply, Why will the railway system stop working, why will Professionals (Lecturers, Doctors etc ) have to down tools before their salaries are paid (when Bankole dem are looting the whole treasury), how can a system allow the like of IBB to even want to imagine ruling Nigeria again, If GJ is sincere and want to leave an enviable legacy, Let him put measures in place that limit corrupt practices both in public and private sectors. We don’t have to police them (EFCC, ICPC), in the company where I work, nobody police you, measures have been put in place, if u decide to flout them you have also successfully signed your termination letter (that is the way develop environment works) |
