Of course, the NASS is wasteful. That much is known.
It still doesn't legitimize spending $30 to extend the life of a chronically ill individual for a short period of time.

At the end of the day, that same individual still lacks the physical and mental strength to govern a complex nation of 180m.

In this animal farm, I guess one animal is more equal than others. undecided

Quite frankly, every gets I'll, especially at old age. And every will eventually die of one affliction or another.
Personally , I am not among those that wish him quickly recovery. I only wish him Karma.

I am only concerned, even angry that he doesn't follow the path of honor and integrity ( that he boasts about) , and go home to his private life And family to mind his health and enjoy whatever time he has left on Earth.
Nigeria, as a nation, shouldn't be suffering Buhari's chronic illness with him. undecided
The presidency is not his birthright.
It is a trust , a temporary trust reposed on him by the millions that voted for him , and the millions more that accepted him as the President of Nigeria.
It's not fair.
Are you a Medical Doctor? What other path should he follow or you've are so elusive of what the constitution says, he has made his intentions known to Nigerian as per Medical Leave, handed over properly and that should be enough for Amy right thinking person to comprehend. Why are you so bordered about him being around set. When there was a President that was around hale and hearty and over $90 billion dollars was stolen under is watch.

Karma will always speak for those that do not want the peace of Jerusalem.

Presidency is not his birthright and sure that's why he has 4 years. If He decides to die a President its is call and choice only not yours.

Instead of tolling same line of Integrity and Honour you sit critising his legacy oga way your own? undecided

Sincerely I don't know whatbis wrong with ND. Its as if they are born, bred and nortured in Blame Games.

Its a Shame when People have been collecting allocations like every other State/ Local Government and come on social media to trade blame and point fingers.

What are you using your allocations for?

Una dey give Chiefs, Royalties and Politicians your developmental allocations and expect Ghost to come and develop your zones. The Money Diezani Alone Pack is enough to fix ND problems yet all you get to hear is leave her eeeh! Na her turn. Well if you want development each ND citizens would have to wait their turn.

Wake Up! The little you get, make good use of it. Lagos never got allocations for years during OBJ Time and yet Tinubu worked wonders for his state.

Besides, no right thinking person should expect more when the one given is squandered. its a spiritual law.

Stop the Waste, and you will get transcending development.

Though city roads in delta ain't this bad. Abeg let the community ask for accountability from their Community Leaders

The 8years he spent in office, his works spoke for him in all sectors,he formed an inclusive government and all regions in the state felt his impact, that u can't take away from him. He left a lasting legacy behind unlike other thieving politicians
Lasting legacy Wow! I wonder if some people think through their anus or something.

Forget talk. Your state if things were done right by now should be gunning to be better than J City. World class infrastructure in place. Road networks tarred to the right gauge that 20years from now the Government of the day would have no reason at all to revisit those areas but rather concentrate on more salient matters that needs attention.

May be the problem is little understanding of what Legacy means. Now let's use our own environment as analogy.

Legacy is when you visit White Residents in Calabar, Imo, Ogoja, Lagos, Kano, Ibadan, Gboko, Makurdi, Lokoja, Ogbomoso etc and you see so many building constructed before the sixties still in place just for a few retouch here and there.

Legacy gives room for continuous development and not going round in circles in terms of development. When we build Airport, Roads, Bridges, Schools, Offices we know that its at per with Futuristic and International Standards so that all we get to think about for 20 , 30 years or more are minor maintenance fixes here and there.

Oga Legacy no be chop I chop bro na una future una dey chop so and sincerely curses from pained right thinking future generations will not let such person rest in peace.

Politicians that are ready to leave such are what we need. Don't be deceived wasted opportunity has a way of haunting both in this life and after life.

Let's stop celebrating poo abeg. The only reason why the shameless will come back to raise their head is when expectations from the suppose righter of wrong falls below standard.

As youth we should learn to have foresight.

I read it all, well I am a supporter of TBJ however I am not an igBo hausa or yoruba. I have been there 3 times. I can relate to your story.

I think the yoruba ushers are the problem have you been to the canteen at the canopy? With very few foreigners And also used the one inside the church itself wit majority foreigners operating it and see the difference.

The yoruba ushers are too rude no be small. The white guys while smile at you once in awhile and won't shout at you but try the yoruba Female ushers you will see something.
Ladies and gents when going avoid the FEMALE YORUBA USHERS at all cost except she is below 21 (I met one she was sweet talked well, smiled, jumped, danced and even told me about joining one youth something can't remember it's been awhile.
Sorry my yoruba bro's and sis but I think I would advice our MOG to replace half of the yoruba with foreigners or hausa no wonder he shouts them down and the TV operator cuts it off TBJ likes his people but they don't like him he should do and relocate do you know most of the people of ikotun do not attend the church not to talk of believe him despite the free electricity the church gives them and the business boom the church created in the area sad but life is a battlefield not a play ground right?
You can't come from South South and talk about Church and Personality you know little or nothing about. If you grew up from an area and majority of the people there refuse to patronise you or acknowledge you there is a problem. That problem could be Trust or Envy. But here I see no envy. I think its Trust since the people there can't vouch on his Source if its God Almighty or Otherwise.

Just like your people cannot vouch for Asari as per honesty.

He doesn't give Ikotun people light he might be extending is gestures to two or more street but light source is not from him. And besides He is just fortunate to be located around an industrial zone reason for constant light in the area.

Church attendance is by choice but with you eyes opened and Gods word as your guide. By their fruit we shall know them

Yes that is the truth.

BUt cosnder this...we generate 6000MW max for a population reaching 200million people . South Africa generates 40000MW for a populaiton of 45million.

Naturally we have to increase generation

Hence, we have to pay
We have to pay to increase generation and also pay to get no light. How does that work? What's wrong with generating power then convincing that now that we are doing fine at this level of May be 10- 12hrs per day we might need to increase to serve you better.

What's wrong with sincerity of purpose by ensuring all the houses in Nigeria own a prepaid meter even if it's just for 5k at most so that they know what they are being billed for.

You can't be rubbing the innocent and still expecting them to embrace you. I think government should always consider the cushion effects in decision making.

After watching the trailer of Alter Ego; the latest movie of Nollywood veterans, Omotola Jalade and Wale Ojo, one would be forced to wonder the reactions of their spouses, seeing them play such erotic roles together----

While Omosexy, revealed that she sought the permission of her quite understanding husband, Captain Matthew Ekeinde, Wale Ojo, although not married said he also spoke with his partner.

When GOLDEN PEARL MEDIA quizzed to know why the movie Hunk is not ready to make his partner, his wife, the Phone Swap star, said he is not ready for marriage yet.

According to him: 'I don't know if there's a problem with marriage, but I like been in a relationship without the pressure of marriage. Whenever I want to play sex roles in a movie, I discuss with my partner. ‎I enjoy myself more without marriage or its pressure," he said.‎

‎Wale even confessed that all the sex scenes he played with Omotola Jalade were real and natural.

"My sex scenes with Omotola are very easy. After all, I am a sexy person. I don’t see it as that hard. Omotola and I are great friends, so it was very easy for us to have that chemistry and do what we had to do. It wasn’t difficult at all. Our kisses were real. We grabbed each other, we were passionate, it is natural. It is real."‎

When asked if he felt something emotionally while the act was going on, the United Kingdom returnee said, "Of course, you have to have an emotion to do this. We are good friends, so things worked out well. It wasn’t that hard. I always love playing the bad guy role."‎

Someone should please tell our actors and actresses that their profession is ACTING not REALITY. No sane person expects them to go on jeopardising Reality for an ACT all because of fame, awards or money.

Even a lot of the so called BFilms are ACTS with scenes technically manipulated.

It will be total foolishness if this were true. You have succeeded in fanning another man's ego, reducing your prestige/ honour and that of your spouse, children and generations yet unborn. We easily forget the power of the Media and also the Internet. Never Give Evil a Foothold. I sincerely hope this is not true because it will always never be worth it.

As much as I am pained with the experience and the excuse of State Government. Its most surprising too that a school managed by two states does not conduct standard periodic audit of the institutions account but saw it as a necessity now that they are called to responsibility. Hmmm... "Yeye dey Smell"

Let the right thing be done Open up the school so your generations progress too is not delayed because I know God is watching and will reward. Pay outstandings on grounds that Audit will be conducted immediately that is done and make it a policy to always conduct periodic Audit on the Accounts. Just because you are Government does not mean you should be irresponsible to the point of eventually calling for Privatisations. For the private sectors no be human being dey there?

There was once a Governor who set aside a day for general cleanup in cognizant of the fact that some persons want to be coerced and threatened with punishment for them to carry out that which is expected of them..... Everything was going fine, flood came but didn't caused any monumental disaster based on the mechanism put in place for mitigation.

After a time there comes one other sat through everything and decided to end general cleanup day. The lazy masses among them were happy and sat their ass down. The season of reckoning dawn on them the resultant effects was unbearable and unmanageable.

Good Morning Nairalanders!
It wasn't the governors fault its we the people that has refused to keep the bolt in our head. Some useless, clueless and brainless personality took the government to court and then said that the sanitation plan was disturbing people from moving around hence it should be cancelled. No sane government will end such policy without a better plan but our people, are the main problem of the country. We fleece everywhere with our own selfish agenda forgetting eventual outcome. We have refused to be futuristic rather we enjoy short term gain. NFAs

Good the government will make more money. Innocent will suffer for the unjust and then people will shout out that they are making life unbearable. I don't know how we think though but shouldn't it better to keep our self from arm by being patriotic and sending caution where & when we see defaulter rather than inflicting ourselves with more pain. What goes round will always come around. If it starts today your area will not be exempted even your state will adopt same style and call it revenue.

Its both sides.Women get used and dumped same with Men. The diff is that men gets to become tougher, dust up and moves on while women spend time whining before letting go that's if they do.

Sounds so unmanly to whine about how you were used and dump by a lady. Guys can't stomach friends laughing at them on that. Its more like guy you f**ked up.

For women, they talk to their friends about it, whine and whine, seek shoulders to cry on and all. For guys abeg no time. Man up that's life but you've got to move cool be a man.

Funny part is most times on both sides the victims are the good ones dating the wrong person.

My Advice: Know your level, stop looking for china gold or packagings. Find someone that appreciates you for who you are date, love and settle but don't get drained.
