oluwaniyin: Please for those in Germany already, how much is the estimated cost of the insurance for 2 years masters program. (in EURO pls)
Did you pay immediately for the 2 years? or It is monthly deduction or how ?

It depend on the school tho. We have two type of insurance which Is private or public but most school don't allow private sha so the public is more efficient than th public the public are ( TK or AOK) which u pay almost 80 euro monthly and u can go to the hospital as u like no but the private is more cheaper it like 40 euro but it kind off complicated when u want to use it like the one am using is Mawista and if I go to the hospital they send me bill then I pay so I will later send the bill to ma insurance company and they will refund ma money but most school don't collect the private sha they will ask u for TK or Mawista...

You write so much. Are you sure you dont wanna be a journalist? hahaha just kidding. I support your IT dream cos that's what am studying here too.

You only need to show 8k euro for one year to get your visa. 8k times current euro rate in naira is about 1.8m plus flight ticket lets say 150k. so with 2m you are ok for one year. Keep saving cos it's worth it to invest in your future.

Yes you can get permanent residence here in Germany in 5 years but the 5 ears does not include when you are studying. It starts counting when you start working after graduation and paying tax. Though i heard is now reduced to 3 years but have not conformed it.

Plus u have to knw the language before u can get a job oo don't forget... Germans don't give out their visa easily ooo no be small thing

researchQ:
Kelly please help me with this questions
I have an HND (higher national diploma) please do I need to attach the HND statement of result issued to me by my former school? Or do I need to attach transcript? If transcript, should it cover both OND and HND or only HND? Is statement of result okay ? Or do I need to attach my HND certificate as well? Finally is it acceptable to combine two secondary school certificates?
Thank you as I await your response.

one thing i will like you to knw is that uniassit does not accept HND and OND don't knw if they will now do that but the last time i checked they rejected the result and the transcript but if u send the result to the school directly they might accept you get.. all the best bro... so it better to look for the schools outside uniassist

Let me seize this opportunity to conduct this
interview on this forum
1. Please, introduce yourself, name (optional),
course, level, school, city, your school in

2. How does German educational system differ
from the system you were used to?
3. What academic challenge(s) did you face or are
you facing currently and how are/did you tackling/
tackle them?
3. What is your (academic) advise to prospective
Nigerian student coming over to study?
(summarised)
4. Do your school have a sizeable number of

5. Did you find it difficult integrating into the
society and how were you able to overcome it if
you had?
6. In your opinion, do you think a hard working
Nigerian student with a particular result can
maintain his/her academic performance in
Germany with the same efforts? A scale will be

best measure of hard work but For instance,
A spends 6 hours of study everyday in Nigeria,
GPA=4
". ". ". ". ". ". ". in Germany GPA=?
7. Like in any society, there are distractions or
factors that reduces performance, what are the
major culprits in Germany for an unenlightened

1. My name is Temitope I studied economics in Nigeria grad 2011 and finished ma service 2012 oct left niger April 2013 to study international business here in berlin HTW writing na thesis next semester (next month).
2. German education is much difficult everyone will face that challenge when I first enter I was like Tope u where amoung ur class efico in niger why u come they look like dis everything look new to me. Am must confess niger education is poor..
3. Advice do the course I knw u can perform well I thank god for that cos ma international business was a right choice for me my friends doin Msc economics are complaining bitterly.. So develop ur research knowledge in niger we nt good in that most of us did our copy and paste project in bachelors
4. It depend on the country they from most of ma class mates are german and u knw them na. Germans are never friendly they keep hard face every where they can't control that tho ... Sone schools have a lot of blacks like university of cottbus blacks in ma school are very few most schools in berlin don't admit much blacks I doth knw why tho ...

5 I found it very hard integrating before unko I speak little german when I first got here and I don't have any friends so it was kinda lonely but now Kia I don turn balogun for berlin oooo...
6. We much diff can't answer that but education is nt easy that all I knw it way different from niger own oo Allah
7 no fun to distract you man only if u ladies type that can distract u cos for me I don't do white girl so I don't get distracted the only common thing that distract African student is how to make money while studing it happened to me also but god has that in control....
