80 euro is not enough to eat in a month only if you are lazy to cook and you always hop in from one restaurants to another. If you cook, even 50 euro is enough for your grocery shopping.Food is not a problem in Germany can you cook is another issue? If you eat outside all the time then 200 euro is not even enough. All that guy was saying is correct,Be on a budget and dont spend like naijarians if not you go hear wheeeeen

Man u can eat fo 80 euro jare na cos u. No they stay alone na if u they stay alone u will knw before u buy water self money don go.. I knw wat am saying.

do you mean that €80 is too SMALL or too HIGH for food consumption in Germany land? in regards to the different standard of living over there

I don't really knw sha.. Will staart calculating that.. But to me its small sha.. I be village boi nt used to germann. Food yet.
Travel / Re: German Embassy And Visa by topeajis(m): 10:28pm On Nov 18, 2013
germanmann: I didn't mean 2003. With 80 Euros you can get enough to eat, as long as you cook yourself what I do almost every day.

Na spag and rice u go they eat be that anyway u tlk say u they eat for plc of work sha

germanmann:

To be honest with you the 8000 Euros cannot sustain you for the 2 years. Depinding on the city you live, you can sustain yourself with 400 -450€ monthly (200€ for houserent / 70€ for Health Insurance/ 80€ for Food / at least 50€ for School Levies). I know I could sustain myself with 250€ (then I was attending Studienkolleg 2003 and worked in a resturant where I got almost all I ate) at the beginning. I was very lucky to have found a very cheap and small room (120€ monthly), but the problem with this: You no fit toast any babe for Germany, because you no fit buy her even ice cream when you date her. grin

On this case I would only advice to get a small job when you get here. With this you can earn some money to add to the ones you already have. I believe if you can achieve this, you will get your visa after the first year extended. To get jobs quickly, you should know how to express yourself in German. This advise has been given very often.

Man u they try ooo waitin u they eat for 80 euro.. I go like be like u ooo..

Yah don't worry about the extension in some cases self u might e lucky to get 2 yrs visa but 1 year is sure sha so if u want to extend it nt a must u have 8k euro with 4k or a woking contract self they will extend ur visa for u and if u don't have all u can just look for one sure person u knw that can give a sponsorship document or make u just borrow money put for the account since it won't be a blocked fund dis time..so no streess dis time ..... Wit one year to extend easy like mad.. All the best

U should also consider that your transcript needs to be certified. If ur school will be sending it directly to the universities, then they should consider certifying it. That would cost u quite a lot getting different transcripts for diff Universities especially when u are applying to Universities not under uni-assist.
Try get an agent that handles study and travel matters in the state where u reside and talk to them about using their address for ur transcript and ask ur school to send ur transcript directly to the agent's office and then go there to collect it. U and the agent could agree on something.

My 2 spoons...

If ur school is sending ur transcipt u don't need to certify it. U only cetifited photocopies but nt original copies..

@ All regular members of this thread, IMHO people, who come here are mostly novice in this German school preparation and they are bound to ask questions but what is GO and read 266 pages, then come back here and ask question.

Have you all taught about new updates or changes in the old admission process written in the 266 pages on this thread? To me its not like You are helping telling newbies here to go read the whole thread, its pure Arrogance.

What happen to STFU or simply tell them, what you know and they move on, Common guys because you suffered to get the information doesn't mean everyone looking for the same information would go through the same route.

Lastly, not that the newbies are lazy to read the whole 266 pages, some don't even have internet to scroll up and down like you do from your Studentenwohnheim.

Like i would always say, its either you give people free information or the other part, i guess you know it better.
Cheers.

Lol nice observation.. How do u feel when u answer same question everyday? U think people that dedicated their time to contribute here don't have something to do. But the taugh of knowing hardworking nigerains are ready to study in germany and u can give them the information is motivating nt people that never want to research for them self most people here did their home work before coming here nt lazy people that will want to be spoon feed. So bros no vex if people. Direct u to a particular page. Nothing has change about the application stuff just do the right thing @ the right time and don't be a lazy guy like me.
