Phones / HELP! My Huawei Y9s Spontaneously Locks Me Out And I Can't Regain Access. by TopeBush(m): 10:04pm On Oct 18, 2020
Hi Nairaland.

My evening was going fine just like any other evening, till I brought out my Huawei Y9s and i tap the screen to find it's asking me for password. A password I did not set and I don't have.

I HAVE NEVER SET ANY PASSWORD on this phone, neither has it been with another person, it's always with me. I'm really confused and frustrated.

Is there anything I can do, I have so many important files and information I would not want to lose, so I don't want to hard rest it. Is there anything else I can do.

Pls help me.
Health / Re: BED BUGS! Please How Do I Get Rid Of Them by TopeBush(m): 10:58am On Jun 27, 2020
If u can come to iyanapaja, let me take u to a woman who sells the spray that did magic in my home. All the bedbugs have disappeared. I sleep peacefully now. I underrated that stuff when I bought it but the woman assured me that I will comeback looking for her. It's in a transparent container and red colour settles below d liquid. It is unbranded. I wonder what they mixed there

Bro. Can you describe the place at Iyana Ipaja to me? Bed Bugs have frustrated me.

Religion / Re: 2016 "Remain Loyal To Jehovah" Regional Convention Of Jehovah’s Witnesses by TopeBush(m): 11:07am On Dec 08, 2016
Why attend a three day convention just to criticise it?...you could have spent the time doing things that will end up good.
Someone asked if people still "attend JW"
Yes, people still do. And infact the number keeps Increasing there are close to 9 million active JW's on earth.
We only recognise Jesus as the Son of God-Jehovah. But we don't worship Jesus we Worship Only Jehovah.

To all the JW's Reading the comments
don't be discouraged by these people calling you hypocrites I know a place in the bible that says true Christians will be hated, come to think of it JW's are the most hated today and for no reason at least you don't behead people but people still hate you for preaching in good and bad weathers.
Most of these people operate on what their pastors told them . same pastors that ate from the dasuki loots, same pastors that divorced their wives . same pastors thatbslept with church members. But Keep on the good work Few are those on the narrow road they will be hated Jesus was hated too .they will be called hypocrites Jesus disciples were called that too. But keep up the good work.

I lock up everywhere whenever i sight them from afar or simply tell them to gerrahiamehn. They are hypocrites.undecided

I hope you realise that if you use the term "hypocrites" on a particular set of people you'll be charged with blasphemy and your head will have to be detached from your neck. But because JW's are peace loving, you have the mind to call them Hypocrites. Ride on since that's what your pastor told you .

One thing is Nairaland or Social media are not your problem,Time management is the problem. The way you spend your time can really affect you.Second, your aim, there is a saying "aim for the stars so even if you fall you'll land on the moon" if you want to finish with a second class study like you want a first class, thats the way it works. And i wont lie to you,if you are studying a course you dont like or have passion for you wont excel even if youre intelligent. bottom line is Manage your time well, study well, aim high.

naijamark:
Someone needs to talk to this young man. 20 years ago I was in your shoe. I was so obsessed by anything British while anything Nigeria were bullshit! I wasn't paying much attention to my studies, by the way, I got my admission when most of my mates were still struggling with WAEC (no NECO then) and JAMB. I can write you a whole episode on how I was pursuing scholarship here and there when my classmates were busy with their studies. The result was that I performed bellow my academic ability (at about average) which landed me an equally average job, while the "not so smart" ones did better and got better jobs. With anything less than 2:1, job prospects are low in Nigeria (indeed for most countries). Changing job was difficult for me as non came, and as for job satisfaction, that was close to zero. I constantly reminded myself that I deserved better. I was still obsessed with the foreign thing that got me into that situation in the first place.
Finally at over 30 years of age, I am studying in a prestigious university in the UK for a Masters, Masters! To me, at this age, that is underachievement. I meet other Nigerians here who are barely 20 who graduated with 1sts with sponsorship from either their employer or government because they did so well in their undergraduate. They also have jobs waiting for them in most cases. End of story.
I will suggest you make the best of the opportunity you have now. Graduate with a 1st and see doors of opportunities in US and anywhere else open for you in the future. You'll thank me later.
Thanks So Much bro.I noticed I'm not doing well in my academics too,I have to retrace my steps. But what are my chances of exiting this place before I complete my undergraduate studies.I don't mind Restarting Senior High over there.plus I have relatives over there that are comfy to an extent. So what are my chances
