YCA Condemn attack on Oni's Convoy

The Youths for Credible Alternative (YCA) has condemned the senseless attack on the convoy of the Governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Ekiti State by members of the opposition in Efon Alaaye.

The campaign team of Chief Segun Oni was on a tour to Efon Alaaye for a town hall meeting with leaders of the SDP when thugs suspected to be that of APC attacked them destroying vehicles and inflicting injury on members of the SDP.

Chief Segun Oni had earlier visited some local government in the state and the visit witnessed large turnout of his supporters.

The Director of Information of the Youths for Credible Alternative, Hon (Chief) Oladele Olusola while reacting to the attack said it was senseless and barbaric. He said the people of Ekiti State know what they want and no level of intimidation will make them back out. He described Chief Segun Oni as a moving train that cannot be stopped.

The Secretary of YCA who was part of the team that visited Efon Alaaye, Mr Olatokun Najeem said it was Almighty Allah that saved him. He advised the opposition in the state to focus on issue based campaign rather than resulting to needless attack.
