Following the turbaning of Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu by the Otaru of Auchi at the Otaru’s Palace yesterday, pastors of the Redeemed Christian Church of God have moved against him by disowning him.

“He is not one of us. We are not like that in the Redeemed Christian Church of God” one of the senior pastors said.

Inform NG can also authoritatively confirmed that efforts by Pastor Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God to reach Osagie Ize-Iyamu over his turbaning in order to seek clarification has so far proved abortive. 

Pastor Adeboye who was visibly worried on the negative image the turbaning might have on his ministry has told other pastors of the church to stay away from Ize-Iyamu until there is clarification over the desperate move to turn the Bible on its head.

His devastating revelation in a recent interview in which he accused Yoruba advisers of killing Chief Moshood Abiola, the now undisputed winner of the June 12, 1993 presidential election, has exposed many of those that became instant heroes by mere noise-making and pretence.

In what seems to be his most revealing newspaper interview (Saturday Sun, July 12, 2008), Alhaji Jakande argued that wrong advice by Yoruba leaders who had hijacked Abiola contributed to the avoidable death of the billionaire businessman who was the presidential candidate of the disbanded Social Democratic Party (SDP).
