Was putting my money on sailfish<especially>, and tizen os but since i heard about ubuntu for phone abi ubuntu touch. I just can't wait to see what it will become, after the high canonical put us in with a glimpse of the os runing on the nexus 4, i gotta say 4ller's got this one down

@ 4llerbuntu i know the are light de's but i want the full package and although there are distro built from ground up for netbooks like pingeee and easy peasy they are to slow on a netbook, my only options now for de are gnome 2 enlightenment and MATE but i don't which is the best and please does any de work on any distro

Pleasd can any one help me with a good distro for a netbook, the distro version should not be older than 2012, stable and come with the full linux experience i don't want those distros that have been thoroughly skinned to make it fast eg flubox or anything lxde or xfce. I was thinking linux mint 14 MATE but some peeps saying it won't run smoothly. Any answer is well appreciated

Compairing tecno smartphones to flagship smartphones is not wise but then when you're looking for a low budget smartphone "which by the way what most nigerians can afford", that offers the basic android functionality and more than enough value for the price tecno android smartphones are the way to go, simple and short

I'm not all that new to linux used it as a kid and now that I'm trying to delve into programming I want to try my hand at Linux again but I'm limited because of the lack of linux distros available netbook, I've looked up almost all the ones available for a netbook (easypease, aurora, ubuntu netbook remix, pingeee, and a whole host of others) but I'm not satisfied. I'm thinking linux mint 14 MATE......but i need user experience anyone?

I have always concerned myself with specs and benchmarks. I believe I rolled out an entire thread once showing how the iPhone 5 dominated anything on Android in GPU power and was comparable to or surpassed nearly everything out there as far as CPU specs were concerned.

i completely disagree with the above, i do not wish to argue it out but dude google that again, do ur comparison and be sincere to urself maybe the have better gpu but u can't compare the cpu of ip5 to that of some droids
