Hampy: My school granted an enrollment extension, so i’ll still be joining them this summer semester which started April 11th.
The reason they gave for the delay is that the alien office in Berlin was/is overwhelmed by the refugee situation (to cut the long story short)
My candid advice for students admitted to Berlin Institutions - apply for your visa in time (at least 5 - 6 months before your enrollment). Otherwise, use admission letters from other institutions from other cities, if you have that.
I think the situation is getting better now that most EU countries are now rejecting and returning the refugees.
Good luck to all. 8 months my brother ... congratulations |

All this shouting is uncalled for, I'd like to say that if not for all this tweak that we are doing up and down most of us would actually know how to value our data. What they promised was a fast data network and all of what they've said so far has pointed to that single fact. Like really which network doesn't slow down at peak periods, try using GLO in the afternoon when everyone is online doing one thing or the other the speed reduces, and besides they said that this applies only to heavy data users. The fact they allow p2p such as torrents is something we should be grateful for, how many countries allow that. in case most of you don't know it actually is a crime in some places unless I'm mistaken. I'm not praising them tho but all I'm saying is before you guys bury them give them a chance, let's see if they can perform. - my2cowries |

Okay just wanted to drop this one here 1. if your searching for a particular course on daad.de and you've picked all your criteria and you've not gotten what you're looking for try reducing them i.e. your criteria for instance you can try selecting a university instead of an applied university or maybe leave the or place textarea free and you might just get what you looking for. 2. Secondly if you're coming from a background of say Geology and your planning on studying geophysics You can try just imputing just Geology or Just Physics and finally geophysics just to see the results and take your pick and secondly if your course has another name probably in German try finding out the name for instance computer science students will discover that's its more often than not called Informatics on daad. my first search on daad for Computer science actually brought out Bio Informatics, so you can imagine. 3. Everybody is talking about daad what ever happened to http://study-in.de they have a brochure that explains most of all this questions that is being asked here and they've been singing this song for ages avail yourself of GOOGLE https://www.daad.de/medien/deutschland/nach-deutschland/publikationen/ziel-deutschland_en.pdfhttps://www.daad.de/medien/deutschland/nach-deutschland/downloads/sid_en.pdfPlease download the pdf's from the link they will help your search |

Good morning to y'all I'd like to start by saying I've had interest in stocks from an early age as early as my early teenage years after reading two books by Robert Kiyosaki Rich Dad Poor Dad and The Cashflow Quadrant I think, fast-forword to being an undergraduate I still have an interest in it and it has been dormant all this while and I'd like to activate it but I have one problem I tried reading through the thread and I don't understand most of the terms used in here and secondly the thing is to damn long so I'd appreciate it if you all could link me to another thread where everything about buying and selling of stock is explained or at least where i can get the basics or recommend any book I can buy that will make me understand the basics at the very least...Thank you |

Politics › Re: Senate's Rejection Of The Gender Equality Bill: Nigerians React On Twitter by Toroze(m): 10:33am On Mar 16, 2016 |
Quite honestly this matter shouldn't have gotten to this stage it's a simple question of do we have gender inequality in Nigeria, if the answer to that question is yes then what are we going to do about it. Yes they are the weaker vessel but that doesn't mean that they shouldn't have equal rights as the men being weak has nothing to do with it, rights are rights you can't for go someone's right just because he is weak, especially when that weakness isn't of their own making but is based on something that some might say has been in existence since way before our time weakness shouldn't even come into it, IMHO they should even be the ones whose rights we have to consider the more, rights are rights whether one is weak or not shouldn't be a question. If gender inequality is present here in Nigeria which I believe it is then there is no reason as to why that bill shouldn't have being passed. |

Cramming won't help you write software, or develop an IT Strategy, or draw business processes, etc... If you cram in my program, you will most likely fail and end up unemployed after school... bot0k: It's a lovely place to study, the school is good and especially if your course is in English. The city is cool with viel Americans, so English is a common language here aber if you're not really into IT or programming getting a job within Kaiserslautern may be a big ordeal, cause most of the companies need a good knowledge of German, but military base Ramstein is a stone throw away, you can get English $ paid jobs there. Jobs withing the school are for only those that can speak German. But you can still get at departments. The University expects you to Pass a German A1 strength course withing your 1st year.
Again, TUKL is HIGHLY RATED especially for Computer Science; course workload can be much but it's all good; it will be nice to see a new Nigerian btw, they ain't many here. So far only 6 Nigerians are in the entire institution.
Also, I just read from your previous post, try to Bump your GP up a bit more; big preference is giving; i.e greater chances if you can apply with about 70% upward. Bro thanks so much yeah been looking for this info for so long thanks a bunch.................God Bless |

Williamso: Your head dey there. Come collect Jaegermeister!!!
However, I will disagree on some (relatively trivial) parts. Learning German is not necessarily just to get jobs, but also for integration purposes. And that you will speak good German before your programme ends? If your programme is not in Deutsch, you will even be lucky if you can read good German before your program ends, let alone speak! (I'm not saying it's impossible, but......)
Nevertheless, please face your studies if/when you get here. If your head carry multi tasking, fine, if you can even face school, language and hustle (1 or 2 definitely will suffer; pray it's not your studies), then go for it! But don't forget that good grades are very very important...
Abeg who dey come Kiel?
Last Bullet: This goes out to all the incoming Computer Science and related students! Learn a programming language before you get here!!! In fact, prioritize it over Deutschlernen. I won't say more than that Bruv it would seem I'm on the right path....it's been long since I've been on this thread consistently cause of exams and school. How is Kiel treating you bro....Please if you have anymore information for computer science students please do not hesitate to fire |

Make sure you practice the mathematics questions posted on here earlier and do ensure you are good with your square root and Pythagoras theorem (I'm poor with figures, sure you don't wana be like me.. lol)
Though, i wasn't given mathematics initially because she asked me what i wanted ( na divine favor o). She gave me management questions: What is art of management? What are management styles? forgotten the other one.
I was given an S.O.P to write, reasons for going to Germany for Bsc/Msc (first applicant to write an s.o.p).
For my oral interview, they were the normal questions we've shared here.... Why Germany? Why the course? Why Bsc/Msc? Attractions in Germany? Your city? First president? Course modules? How many semesters? and other stuffs.
HINT: if i tell you say i ace the interview, then i dey downgrade God be that....... So tey the V.O offer me and my pal water (may be cus say she too delay us)... Just be focused, pray hard and have faith. God is the author and finisher of our faith.... God is just the standard.
