Knight1: Why was it reduced? They must have given you a detailed assessment result. I also intend going for ICT Project Manager, hence my question. Although, am still reading the thread, Page 92 - Part 1, let’s just say I want to be fully equipped. NSW is actually clear. Check their website, you don’t need a job offer and no proof of fund. The minimum point is 65 and you have to select them on your EOI. I hope someone else can shed more light on the assessment part |

[quote author=domex007 post= this is the officer's note: Docs n notes reviewed conclusion: Limited previous travel demonstrated - Limited family ties - applicantis single and young with no listed dependants - concerns over personal finances. Majority of financial documents sumitted are for a third party. Not satisfied that applicant will readily have access to the available funds stated on application forms. Applicant has not provided compelling reasons to study in canada. Unclear why applicant would incur cost of relocating to canada to rather that undertake similar course of study in country of residence. Concerns applicant is using study permit as means to facilitate entry to canada rather than educational advancement. Based on available information, i am not satisfied that applicant will leave canada after end of authorised stay. Study permit refused..
Strange! I also applied Nov last year via online, exactly what the visa officer stated on my gcms except the finance part though |

Jackson755: A gcms is a text/note written by the visa officer stating the *main* reason why he/she is denying your study permit. the refusal letter is generic, it doesn't state much. see attached sample;
To gain more information about the reasons for your refusal, I will advice you to read the Immigration and Refugee Act that deals with student visas. It might be a long shot but trust me its worth it. Hi please how can get access to the refuge act relating to study permit. i checked cic but couldn't find the page. can you post a link please? thank you/quote] |
