Super congrats Phlunter01. Vetassess hmmmmmmm! Glad we got the victory at last. God will crown the remaining stages with success and grace for the race ahead. Congrats again Sis. I dey eye your second PTE score o. Well done babes. Phlunter01: |
Sorry I am just seeing this. When did you qualify and which year did you finish from OOU? PM me (I hope I will be able to reply the PM) let's see if you can use what I have. H2oo: |
Congrats Sis. I am super happy when I see people get positive assessment from Vetassess. uchenna2017: |
I saw your PM but couldn't respond. I will try again. wisemen045: |
Hello Teecann! I qualified about the same time. You can pm me so I send what I have to you (notarised copy). I used it for my assessment with ICAA. I hope they accept it though.
Hello House and fellow "ACCOUNTANT" occupation path... |
Thanks bellong my bad! I didn't know Unilorin Accounting is also a victim. @wisemen045, as it is, you have to choose between ICAA and CPA when you are ready. bellong: |
praiseisgood! lol @ hired assisin's salaries. You really did justice to this. @wisemen045, UniIlorin is a good school for Vetassess. So you have loads of options - Internal Auditor, External Auditor, General Accountant. I am an Internal Auditor in a financial institution and I got positive assessments for both External Auditor and General Accountant from ICAA.I wasnt lucky with Vetassess cos my school (OOU and course - 4 years) was not seen as being equivalent to Australian Bachelors. Disectur can put you through on the Internal Audit route, I can help out with ICAA while you consult Praiseisgood for CPA. The choice is really yours to make. The advantage Vetassess has over both ICAA and CPA is that no English test is required before your assessment. ICAA and CPA require a minimum of 65 and 7 in PTE and IELTS respectively. I hope this helps you further in making your choice.
@wisemen045, |
Whilst waiting for your consultation with disectur, please which school did you finish from? Also check out the required skills of External Auditor/General Accountant from both ICAA and CPA. wisemen045: |
You are the one to do the statutory declaration. As per which is better I don't think there is any difference really. I used a notary public for all my documents and got positive assessments with ICAA (with Vetassess you never can tell). I flee at the mention of that name! A word of caution for you though, I think you should do a pre-assessment or something with Vetassess first. My honest opinion cos I have been 'burnt' as per Internal Auditor assessment with Vetassess. I just saw disectur's response. Kindly work hand in hand with him. wisemen045: |
My wife is a chartered accountant. She qualified in 2011 with 7 years experience as an auditor and tax associate She did Ielts with 6.5+ score 32yrs and graduated from unilag with first class (DLI) in 2014 Let me try to respond to this as much as I can - relating to your wife. First of all, the IELTS score is supposed to be 7 across bands so she is going to do another. Then I don't think she can assess her ICAN qualification alone, I also do not know if they will reckon with part time (DLI) - gurus in the house can speak on this but when you are ready to assess, I will suggest you go with ICAA. Moreover, you will have to get transcripts and syllabuses for both programmes (ICAN and school). |
I am an Accountant too as well as Praiseisgood. |
God's healing hands be upon your brother and grant him speedy healing in Jesus' name. Please try and prepare for your exams. It is well. |
Congrats mctowel01. This is a proof that 'though it tarries, wait for it is as it will not tarry ....' is a sure saying! Super happy for you bro.
Grant Finally. I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all. (Ecclesiastes 9 : 11) |
Congrats Bnimz! I really rejoice with you and indeed that quote is the conclusion of the whole matter! What He starts He alone will finish. Congrats again bro. Super happy for you. Bnimz: |
cc: toslad
Thanks 40manlappy and Bnimz I don't think there's anything else to add. I don't know how old you are though @gracefulchild. You may go through the first page and score yourself as per your points. But like they had already mentioned, we Accountants are on a long thing. I am not sure if your professional qualification will count as my ICAN certificate wasn't considered. |
Congratulations bro. Happy for you.
my people, it has happened oo, grant came in this morning, i am so happy. All 2017. |
