iaminspired: Wasted generation and see useless comment..... When you prefer to carry condom than run for an election.
You boldly carry condom upandan but your bible is missing. Which kin generation be this? When fornication now becomes the order of the day ..... And are busy tying trash....
This is the generation that's prefers to share sexual escapes than sit down on how to improve life
So disheartening Oga, no come dey form for here jawe |

EmmaFantastic: Ahh! Tosyne2much, don't even bother to mention your own! You are the number 1 victim of plagiarism on nairaland ...they dub your work anyhow...probably on daily basis! And talking about online policy against plagiarism, it does not really require that-it is theft of intellectual property and thus, it offenders can be prosecuted in the law under theft. Also, if you see your write up on any blog that was used without your permission, you know you can actually sue the morafockng blogger, right? Just make a sreenshot of the blog, then call the attention of the relevant bodies, let them see it before you then take further action. One of such relevant bodies is Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON). It is very disheartening to see another person reaping the fruit of your labour. Sighs!!! |

OP, if you ask me, I can say that your phone has no problem.
Do you know that 3g drains battery 2x faster? It could even drain 3x faster if the network is very poor. I avoid using 3g even on my newly bought Infinix because of fast drainage of battery
Try browsing on 2g and watch the drainage level of your battery |

EmmaFantastic: Thanks for the compliments. As for cautioning them, I've been imagining that maybe the management of nairaland should put up a strict warning out there-warning that nobody should copy and use anybody's post or article that was posted on nairaland without the original owner's permisson and the copier must put the source as well as the writer. Several times, I've actually thought of this and even thought of sending a message to Seun to suggest it to him. I know that Seun and his main MODs have a lot in their hands, the work is not easy. I don't think anything can be done because we have no strict online policies against plagiarism.. I posted an article about five days ago and I was astonished to see that about 40 Nigerian websites have plagiarized it when I searched the same article on Google |

Education › Re: Which Is Better Knowing How To Speak Good English Or Knowing How To Write? by tosyne2much(m): 11:59am On Nov 01, 2016 |
In my own opinion, I think it's a lot better to be good in speaking than writing. This is because speaking fluently is the first letter of recommendation as an educated person.
Speaking is just like your shirt and trouser which which gives an impression of whether you're a doctor or an agbero, while writing is like your boxers which is in the inner part. Before your boxers can be seen, you have to take off your shirt and trouser first. That is how speaking and writing is
When you go visiting your in-laws, nobody will ask you to introduce yourself in writing. Na your mouth u go take talk am
Concerning your fried that tops the class, I think academic excellence is more than being fluent in English because the lady who also tops my class amidst the Hon Patrick in my class, is very 'poor' in both speaking and written English. In fact, she doesn't ask nor answer questions in class due to her inability to express herself comprehensively. Also, she feels very timid to give out her notes because of the blunders wey full her book
This keeps me wondering how a lecturer would overlook her grammar and award her an 'A'. It is a mystery indeed! |

At 35 years after school you may end up not using the certificate cos age of employment theses days is between 23-27 except government establishment which I don't think a business minded person can endure such kind of jobs.I became 30 last month and am getting married by December.
