10.Pharmacist

How Much Do Pharmacists Earn?

A fresh graduate of pharmacy commands a salary range of N120,000 to N180,000 per month.

What is the Role of a Pharmacist?

A pharmacist is a healthcare professional who specializes in the safe and productive use of medicines. Pharmacists dispense medicines and are charged with making sure that the medicine is legal and is prescribed with a suitable dosage; oversee the supply of medicine; give medical advice to patients and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to save lives.

How to Become a Pharmacist

If you want to pursue a pharmaceutical career in Nigeria, you would undergo a five-year education in any accredited university to earn Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm). After which you would proceed for a year internship and be inducted into the Pharmacist council of Nigeria.

Wow!
Every Tom, Dick and Harry?
Like the Tom, Dick and Harrys do not also deserve to have their own 33 years experience and then come back like you to share their own stories.

Very interesting perspective!

EgunMogaji2:

The very idea that I, and many others, have the gonards to move back to Nigeria when almost every Tom, Dick and Harry is processing Canadian visa is shocking to some.

I glossed over the "a country that gave me everything" part because it didn't sound logical. Are we not supposed to go learn, experience and then come back home? Though mine took a bit longer because I started a family but I'm still proud that I made it back with excperiences.

Besides, in these societies like USA and UK where I believe he is based, the system makes you earn your ways if you're legitimate. You take out what you put into it basically. No free gift in Freetown.

Anyways, maybe this cynical view that some are showing is why African Americans are flocking to other African countries instead of Nigeria. I mean African Americans are moving to Africa but it's WW3 for a Nigerian to move back to Nigeria grin

Please house....is there no other way for housing apart from this CROUS and VISALE of a thing....

@whycaress,

The accommodation was very frustrating and i didn't understand that CROUS at all. Try https://leboncoin.fr and select colocations if you want sharing. Also check if there are agencies offering accommodation for your city. Did your school give any suggestion?
In my case, i wrote to all the property owners and managers that my school listed.

All the best!

Hola amigo. Bienvenido ¿Como le va?

A whatsapp group would definitely b created for this, Infact I'm in a group were I learn from natives, but it'd b better to have more positive responses b4 creating a group of our own.

Necesito quince (15) personas serias, más o menos, para hacer el grupo de Whatsapp.

I know there is power in number, however, for this cause, i vote (no pun intended.............hahahaha) for less. We just need people with passion and dedication even if it's cinco personas, but if we get quince and above, then maravilloso!

By the way, can you introduce me to that your group where you interact with natives? Por favor!

I am so excited to see this thread, i have actually searched for Nigerians learning Spanish before, but didn't see any. I started learning in July using mostly Youtube, downloaded books and duolingo and it's been quite interesting. My progress is currently way below my set goal and i would be glad to have a community outside here where we can also practice our speaking.

Hello @TochiPhotos my namesake, I'm really excited to see what has become of you.
Ever since you bailed out on us (your ardent followers) in Humans of Lagos........lol, i have been wondering every now and then whatever happened to you. I remember you mentioned having a challenge then, but you never got back. I even sent you a mail but no response. Congratulations on this new feat and phase of your life and may you keep soaring.

Please i have a question because i'm making an enquiry for a friend's son. You stated that the fees at HSE is between $2000 - $4000, but what i'm seeing in the website is way higher; 390,000 Rub ($60000+) and more. Please is there something the website is not telling us or has the fees been increased? It also appears HSE do not offer Engineering courses?

Try to use only Igbo when communicating with your family members and friends that are Igbo. It might not be easy as some will laugh and make jest of you, but that will just be for a while. Stay away from those that tends to discourage you.

I tried sending you a private message here, but seriously, i don't understand how this NL private message works. If you don't mind, drop an email address so that i can contact you.

Hello Everyone,

Well, i got a debit for my bid yesterday and an alert for the upfront interest few hours later.

It was for 182 days and the bank gave me 17.1%(from my calculation). Though it was lower than the official 17.5%, but i'm really pleased with it, i only lost about N2,991.

As for the bank, it's not one of those banks that a lot of people will agree with, but my TB experiences with them for few years now has always been amazing. I don't know if it's just my branch though.

All the best to you all in all your investment endeavours.

Hello Modath,

It will be good for you to sometimes pause a bit, reflect and try not to be too hard on yourself and life in general.

A lot of people are proud of their tribes/ ethnicity and they don't have to undermine others in order to prove that.

That you are surprised or impressed at Theresa May's action (genuflecting before the queen) shows your level of exposure. Genuflecting to elders or those in higher authority is not exclusive to your beloved tribe alone. I was thought this noble act while growing up and so was everyone else raised in a good home.

If only you could open your eyes and mind just a little and look beyond your immediate surrounding; you will come to know that everything does not revolve around you and your tribe and you will also learn to be less bitter, less condescending and a happier person.

Tribal war is not healthy for you.

Take care.
Politics / Re: Enugu Killers Were Fulani Herdsmen - Police by Toyatc: 9:26am On May 02, 2016
fiizznation:
The entire Fulani herdsmen attacking a community for no just reason doesn't make an iota of sense. Furthermore, I was able to identify the major grazing fields for the Fulani cattle in Nigeria. And the southeast is not on that list, meaning Fulani herdsmen rarely take their cows to the eastern part of this country. Borno state is the number one grazing destination for Fulani herdsmen. So I challenge anybody from Enugu or southeastern Nigeria to just show me one picture of Fulani herdsmen grazing in their lands.

@Fiizznation, Really?
You are supposed to be intelligent, but you have allowed bias and myopic mind to distort that. You identified major grazing fields and South East is not on that list? Really? in Nigeria? with what statistics? Since you are challenging us to show you pictures, i am also challenging you to come so i can take you round the South East so you can see with your physical eyes the Fulani herdsmen and their cattle all over most farm lands this period. I want you to come with me physically because pictures can be doctored.

When you don't know, ask questions and make proper research before coming online to spew rubbish and expose your ignorance. In case you don't know, during the dry seasons, Fulani herdsmen and their cattle is a common sight in the farm areas in the South East.

From what you have written, this is not a case of perversion . Or is he married?

He seems to genuinely like you. Instead of blurting out; why don't you ask him directly what his intentions are. If you are not interested, then say so in a mature and respectful way.

You can only begin to be worried if only after you say no and he is still insisting or if he is making a threat.

For now, it's just a case of "a dude liking a babe".
