CultureRe: How Often Do You Visit Your Village? by Toyatc: 5:01pm On Dec 21, 2013
PapaBrowne: Interestingly, I visited my village for the first time in 25 years just 2 days ago. The village was lost in time but in my opinion very beautiful and serene. I actually visited over an Agric research project been worked on.
I came out with the knowledge that there is over 1000 acres of land accessible for my research. And the most interesting part, the road to the village has just been tarred by the Feds.

Below are some pics. There is no reason why we should all be rushing out to the city where there are really no jobs when we have the greatest assets in our villages-land for Agriculture.
@papabrowne, pls, are you by any chance frm Enugu state? That road looks familiar.

Hello everyone. I hope you are all doing great?

Please guys i have an issue and i don't know how to resolve it. My 91days TB deal matured yesterday and the bank credited my account accordingly. But to my supprise, at about 3 hours later (about 7pm), i got another alert of debit claiming that it is for a TB purchase. I just called the bank this morning and i was told that they thought i said they should repurchase. Can you imagine? I did not give such instruction and my plan was to cool down till next year and carefully make my investment plans. As a matter of fact i am considering another investment possibility. Even if i have to buy it will be for 182 days and not 91 days. But now this people made their decision and bought at a rate that i did not even approve of.
I want them to reverse it because it was not my instruction and the guy is claiming that it is difficult to reverse and i would have to go to their office which will be next week. Will it not be too late by then? I am just pissed and i am guessing these guys have something to gain if not why the rush. Was there even a deal yesterday?

Nigerians can be so annoying. Why all this idle talk about the OP starting this.
If you want to sign then sign if you do not want to sign then take a walk.
If you are too concerned about other bigger issues in 9ja,then start your own thread or movement about that. That is how change begin.
Afam, pls stop comparing the word "mafia" with "scam". Anybody would prefer to be called a mafia than a scammer.
A lot people from all countries now perpetuate scam using Nigeria, a lot also carry Nigerian passport. Nigerians are not the only ones that send spam mails. So why should we allow ourselves to be trampled and insulted by the same people who are the originator and masters in the same crime.
Change starts somewhere and this could be it. Better die trying than not doing anything at all. At all at all na I'm bad. Peace!

FashionRe: Relaxed Hair- Let's Challenge our hair growth (3, 4 Or 6 Month Relaxer Stretch) by Toyatc: 2:15pm On Oct 23, 2013
@ Yvete and ogugua88, thanks a lot.
@thatgurlvixen, i think it all depends on you and your hair. You should listen to your hair. My last relaxer was in march and i did not plan going this long, but a long the way, i was loving it and just felt like going on and on. Then a time came that i became tired of it and managing it is becoming difficult so i have decided to retouch next month(nov).
So what is your hair saying to you? I have seen people online who went for 10months, 16months etc.
All the best sis.
TV/MoviesRe: Gossip Girl Fan Page by Toyatc: 11:57am On Oct 23, 2013
Never tired of seeing . From time to time i still go back to it.

Blair Waldof is my best all the way. For me, the name alone depict power. Her dress sense was amazing. She could be so childish and annoying at times, but i love her character.

I admire Serena's legs and shape. For me lonely was not cute especially when he leaves that his hair bushy.
Lily impresses me with the fact that she attracts wealthy men.....lol except Mr. Humprey.
Nate.......cute guy
Chuck Bass......love love love that character.
Best couple for me was lonely boy and S
Oh how can I forget Dorota.........she made me laugh so much.

Hello beautiful ladies in the house.

My long stretch (about 8 months) will be coming to an end 9th of next month by the grace of God. I am already tired and looking forward to it.
Please i would want to know if there is any special precaution i need to take before the relaxer so as to ensure that everything goes on well and that all my effort these months will worth it.

Thanks ladies for replying.

Hello people
Feelamong, Elai147, and all the other great minds, i hope everyone is doing great and TGIF.

My bid was successfull this week but i am yet to get the full detail from my bank. But from my calculation based on the deducted amount it appears the rate is 10.5% for 91 days duration. This is below my bargin but all the same, i thank God, that is business for you, sometimes you win sometimes you lose.

FashionRe: Relaxed Hair- Let's Challenge our hair growth (3, 4 Or 6 Month Relaxer Stretch) by Toyatc: 9:14am On Aug 23, 2013
@Uzoo,
Don't you think 2months is too short if you really want to do the stretch. The hot oil treatment really helps in softening the hair, maybe you should give it a try and then take your time to comb with big comb.Take a very little portion of the hair at a time. This requires patience and time.

I am on my 22 weeks post relaxer and i am loving it. I will take off my braids this weekend and then do black tea rinse and deep conditioning.

Off the topic, Uzoo i dey see the bomb wey you dey drop for food section.I checked your blog and i will give the shawarma a try though the direction is not clear to me, but i will just try anyway.

@BagLova and Uzoo,
Thanks for your suggestions. But interestingly,i have been able to manage the hair as per combing. I no longer have difficulty combing and the texture is just ok.
I am really loving the way the hair in turning out so i'm not thinking of retouching yet. I might have to wait till November. That would make it 8 months stretch.
I am on braids now (two wks plus) but i still carry out my normal hair regime on the braid.

Hi everyone,
The last time i retouched was in march and i am not ready for another retouch yet. But my problem is the my hair is becoming too difficult to comb with a big comb and it still breaks. I do daily moisturising, massaging,co-washing etc but i am not satisfied with the results.I usually carry braids for like a month and then alternate it with wig for another month.
Please any idea on what to do. I am really looking forward to the days i would just rock only my natural hair all along.

feelamong: TBILLS STOP RATES FOR 06/06/2013

91 days --------- 11.65%

182 DAYS ----------12.3%

364 DAYS -----------12.64%

Seems our rates are hinging up small small o!

Need to keep an eye on this once again! shocked

@Feelamong, you guys are doing a great work here.
I decided recently, to venture into T-bills while still equipping myself with the necessary education needed before venturing into stock trading.

I am just wondering if this T-bills rates varies because i went to Sterling Bank yesterday 06-06-13 and the rate given to me is different from the one you posted. According to them the rate as at yesterday was:

91 days...........................10.999%
182 days..........................11.899%
365 days..........................12.55%

Why the discrepancies? No be the same market again? Can someone help me out, because just like someone said earlier, na hard earned money ooooooo, no b PDP or blood money oooo

Nice, nice, nice thread. I usually stretch for 3 months, but now, i intend to stretch for 5 months. I would really love to go natural someday, but my hair is still very problematic.
The new regime i started early this month is: moisturise, seal and massage every other day, do the green house effect 3 times in a week, pre-shampoo every two weeks and then to alternate between big braids and wigs every month.

My products includes: Coconut oil, sweet almond oil, olive oil moisturising hair lotion, castor oil, honey and "emily millionaire coconut oil &herbs".

My hair still breaks, but having learnt of the protein treatment here, i intend to give it a try. Please can one get the black tea in our typical 9ja market?
