exco90: Hello Nairalanders, please I need you to clarify me on something Two year contract job with zenith not far from home 200 to and from with 110k per month in akowonjo/ Lagos or permanent staff Job with 75k per month in ilupeju oshodi lagos 900 to and fro.. please which one should my sis go for.. we have till tomorrow to accept one of the offer ... Please which one is better Let her go for ZB. The contract isn't really for 2 years as you can resign at any time you wish to. If she put her ears on the ground, she can switch department to one that has transferable skills. Pay has also been reviewed (gone up obviously) and she might end up not touching it as the tips you get in a day is enough to cover transportation costs and feeding. All the best. |

Lekiboboe: HI
A BSC holder going for another BSC is not advisable. Approval chances is low with such move.
These are the red flags a Visa Officer will possibly spot - 15 years is a very long Study gap - No Academic Progression (going for another BSC) which will be termed as WRONG PURPOSE OF VISIT - Her Age
Your friend should jejely go for a PG. Cert or Post-Baccalaureate or Post Diploma program in a Business field for CAREER PROGRESSION (as related to her work experience)
See the link below for the programs https://www.nairaland.com/6957495/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/230#111060488 Hello, I'll like to ask.... If one decides to go for a post graduate certificate program related to their current work experience (career progression), does the grade one graduated with (Bsc.) matter here? Pls? |

Thomsyne: Nah I think it is if you have a Masters and then you want to go for PG that’s a red flag. But if it’s from BSc to PG, many people are doing that here. I spoke to a friend that just landed, he has a BSc and now going for a PG.
I stand to be corrected though. thanks for your response, but please, does your friend have a 2.1? That's my concern here. Thanks. |

Trackeo: Red Flag syndrome as regards cad. Study Visa in academics....eh...there should be progression....no loop holes....if you have (2.1-say banking and finance_B.sc) ...you should go for be going for M.sc in banking and finance or other related course.......This progression should be there... I'm considering the cost, thats why. My sponsor can only show a closing balance that can cover for a Yr study program, and I read I have to show for the entire 2 years if it's for Msc. Sighs. |

ShowYoung: SOP is your only way to explain to the VOs your situation as regards many factors such as Home Ties, Financial Status and Personal Assets, Career or Academic Progression, reasons for wanting to study the course among many others.
If it were to be the US visa, for example, you would be called for an interview, but Canada does not do interview: SOP is your only way to convey your message. Hi.. I've been following this page for some time and reading through. I applied for a post grad and I saw somewhere in this thread...can't remember the pg now that having a 2.1 and going for a post grad instead of Msc can be seen as a red flag. Please, has anyone gotten a study permit having a 2.1? Or should I abort mission? I need clarity, biko! |

Isyma: Hi guys goodmorning, I need urgent advice, I've been processing form A for Fanshawe college school fees but has not gone successfully, now I just got admission at cambrian college with way lower tuition fee more like double of Fanshawe College tuition. Considering Fanshawe resuming by August 6th 2022 and Considering cambrian resuming by October 31st 2022. And also considering the quality of the two schools whc do think I should go for? Should I just continue processing Fanshawe or just buy black market dollar and pay for cambrian immediately as their tuition is quite affordable?
Please help guys, Thanks I believe you must've gotten a response from your questions by now. I'll also like to ask, did you submit IELTS for cambrian college? Thanks. |

CuteTj: @ toyin03, yes Norway is expensive compared to other European countries but at the same time their salaries are higher compared to those countries. Vaseline I buy in Lagos for N300, after currency conversions, its N930 in London but 1250 here in Norway. When you get a job and start earning their currency, you will realize life here is not expensive as you are made to believe as you generally will be earning well. Its only expensive if you bring your own currency and start doing all the conversions.
Yes. I and my son have joined my wife in Norway.
Fiance!! I don't remember mentioning fiance. Although I know boyfriends/girlfriends/fiance/fiancee can visit their partners for periods but its only applicable to partners of Norwegian citizens and I think that was just a different visa program during the lockdown when there were strict entry requirements. I don't know if the program is still ongoing as entry restrictions have been lifted. Thanks for the clarification. I'm looking at University of Oslo once the application is open. Thanks! |

CuteTj: To the school's account. It is a requirement to be issued a visa. If you don't send the money, forget about the admission which in turn will lead to a visa denial. When you get to Norway and you open a bank account, the school will then send you back all your money. Hello, good evening. I just want to ask about life in Norway. How is it like? Is it an expensive country like they say? Have you finally joined your spouse over there? And again you mentioned something about your fiancé joining. How's that possible? Thanks. |

seniorboy1: If your previous evaluation has been completed (or given estimated completion date on your dashboard), you will need to upgrade the report and it will cost C$100. Your upgraded report would contain both credentials.
If your previous evaluation has not been completed or at document/verification submission stage, you need to send a mail to WES for addition of credential. This is free. Phew.... Appreciate this mann. |

I'll really appreciate response concerning my WES question.
Let's say I've already sent for a certificate to be evaluated, and another certificate comes at a later date. Do I pay newly for it to be evaluated or just add it to the previously evaluated one. I can't find answers anywhere.
Thank you. |

Hi guys, I've searched through the main thread and I can't seem to find answers to my question. My partner has just his bsc and a HSE cert, now I'm not sure if the HSE cert will count as 2 or more certs. He intends to go for another short course (BCS) but the certificate will be out by August 2022 meaning we start the evaluation August and God knows how long that'll take before creating a profile.
My question is can we go ahead with the evaluation on probability? If it comes back negative, hope we don't have to pay for a fresh evaluation. Is there an option where we can just add the certificate to be evaluated?
I'm worried cos of the time here. I'll appreciate y'all reply. Thanks. |

Which of the payment gateway would you Recommend? I will use this opportunity to review my application from the 32-page to the 64 page passport once this issue with sanapay is resolved.
