Actually I think schools have been sending revised offer letters round, I got mine ystd even though I already had a COE for July intake. So there's movement in the system for July intake.

How affordable is day care in Melbourne, I heard some public Daycare are cheaper and flexible how true is this?How visible is it to work and pay for day care 5days a week for mothers who are not schooling?

Why is upkeep for kids so expensive. Do you have an idea how much sch fees for a child of 6 cost? My husband can not join me in Australia, hunger will just kill us, he can't even spend 2mths outside Naija without thinking of his businesses. Canada is flexible for me, i guess i will look towards that direction.

@Sandysilver: Like she said you need to have a good support system in Australia, You must be able to explain how you intend to study and care for the kids at same time, like Daycare or schooling, you need to have done all this research already. Financially you should be able to prove this as well

Am yet to get my grant and my school gave me extension till Thursday, which am sure even the two weeks isolation will ruin everything, it's better to defer till July and hope to get the grant before then. With the growing corona pandemic Visa grant has reduced drastically

Not necessary. So far they give you updated coe which is important. And u don't come to Australia I think few months to your actual start date. I think you should be fine. Right now, economy is crumbling and struggling as international student is top 5 source of income generation for Australia...

Big congratulations, this is the first time am seeing someone gets visa grant with family, Lucky you, God has done it. How were you able to prove home ties?

Resumption Date: March 3 (will likely defer to next term)
Note: I had 3 previous Canadian study visa refusals but my circumstances not necessarily apply to others since I have visas for several other countries.

Visa lodged: January 4th 2020,
Medicals: 31st, Dec 2019,
Biometrics: January 7th, 2020
Documents submitted: academic transcript, degree certificate, SSCE, sponsor's statement of account (50,000) Australian dollars, sponsor's int passport and picture taken together at an academic event to proof relationship, volunteer experience attestation letter.
No work experience, no personal statement of account, no travel history and no study gap.
School resume on Monday March 9th.
It can only be God. I had my doubt but God's thoughts exceed man's

Visa application;16th December
Biometrics;23rd December
Medicals;24th December
My agents required for my yellow card same December and no additional documents was required.
Resumption and orientation date;9th and 10th March.
School;University of Technology Sydney
Course ; Biomedical science
I got my grant on the 25th of February and I have been so busy since then, am typing this from my room in Sydney
lol I'M STILL JET LAGGED!!!!!!!!! and yes I passed a lot of hurdles ,lol it was either one problem or another .
In my next life I want SISTER j to be my sister, shes the real definition of a rare gem.
GOD IS GOOD !!!!!For those still waiting ,you will soon give your own testimonies and timelines.

Congratulations, what hurdles did you experience at the airport in Sydney, was there issues especially with the coronavirus issues in Australia.

Hi, now that Nigeria has their first case of Corona virus, What will happen on arrival at any of the airport's in Australia, will their be quarantine, Entry refusal or something else, Please kindly share if you have any knowledge on this, thanks

Hi all, I tried this route some time last year but he found out that the work experience must be comparable to that of NZ or Australia, and from the list I remembered Nigerians can't claim points for work experience that was achieved in Nigeria.. if this has changed kindly advise

There is nothin to worry about at the POE as no big deal at all infact it wasn't like how people Painted it, I was expecting a more drilling exercise but unfortunately I was proved wrong by the generosity shown by the officer .the officers are all nice and friendly. I tendered my admission letters and the cic correspondence letter+passport and the questions goes thus :

What is the purpose of visit?
Is this your first time in Canada?
What is your undergraduate course?
The duration of the course?
Which school do you finished from and which city(when I told him lautech ogbomosho oyo state Nigeria, the pronunciation almost removed his tongue and he stated mocking me )
What graduate program are you going for
The duration of the course
What is the name of the school
What is the source of funding (self or government)
Jokes jokes jokes, the guy started making fun of me infact through out my chat with him, he only went true my funding letter he didn't bother to check my acceptance letter and the correspondence letter,he didn't give me the opportunity to answer the above questions he ended up answering those questions himself and never bother me at all, all I did was just to smile when he ask and immediately answer himself lol. Non of my luggage was checked everyone was able to collect their permit without stress and I wasn't even asked the amount of my PTA or if I came in with any . The experience was awesome and stress free . Free wifi is available at Pearson international airport so you can easily connect to speak with your loved ones at home. The weather here is still the same sunny weather in naija just that it changes in the evening/night but not too bad tho. All you need is courage and smile. Lastly, anyone coming tru MM airport after your luggage has been weighed should immediately padlock your box and make sure you didn't put any valuable tins in the pockets or other external spaces in your box. Although I locked the main place in my box but other sides that can't be locked I kept some few things in it and discovered like two zips where partially opened when I went to claim my bags at the final destination in Toronto,few things was stolen in my bag but I thank God it is not something that useful. They also ended up damaging my box as well,they turned my box from 4legged to 3legged box,all thanks to those guyz at MM airport , please be careful and take caution.I wish everyone all the best and it will surely end in praise.

Thank God, WES credentials evaluation (Nigeria and UK) completed within 3 months. Despite LAUTECH strike, I got my transcript verified. Na who know who I use though.

Please, does anyone know Province I can get a job or nomination as a Medical Laboratory Technologist? Your response will be highly appreciated.

If you entered the pool and got an ITA without an ECA, I would advice you decline the ITA. If you don't, you would end up wasting the 90 days plus the time it would take till CIC rejects your application.

Sorry for the delay response, But i entered EE with the accurate reference number, but the date is where the difference would come in.
Also i was advised to go in EE without the ECA by a relative already in Canada, i tot about the date too though. Do you still advise to withdraw?

I doubt if there is anything you can do until they call off the strike or bow to pressure to resume work on a skeletal basis.

Called my contact​ there this morning and was told that they​ are not at work yet. Let's pray they call it off soon.

Hi guys, Please help me, am trying to pay for my WES ECA but i cant pay with my bank card coz of the limit, Even the western union option the banks are confused about it. What is the logical means of payment from Nigeria.

Also it it wise to set up a profile on Express Entry without the verified ECA from WES?
