How market? All of you who were hopefully waiting for Australia boarders to be open?.. make Una dey wait oo

Ikjosh04:
Australia is one hell(used here as a glossary intensifier) of a country but that does not mean we should look at the facts and loose hope.

UK, Ireland are seeing a spike in new cases and their boarder is still open to international students even Canada will be opening her boarder later this month.

I must admit the facts are more glaring cause a glance at the past(few months back) will show how Scott even declined Australia citizens and Pr that are offshore from coming back to their country to be with their family during the global lockdown but the boarder is presently open to them now in batches.

What's even worse is some state boarders are even closed to other states from entry within the same Australia and the stubborn Scott was even furious with the premier of Queensland recently and requesting for the boarder to be open to inter state entry.

Australia government is taking this covid-19 stuff very serious and most of her citizens are already fed up and Melbourne and Sydney are even asking for resignation of her top leader.

What I think: Waiting for a vaccine before the boarder gets open to international students is bullshit and the pressure is mounting from everywhere for Australia to open her boarders. This is the new normal and everybody needs to adapt.

Also, the false news flying all over the media and YouTube videos (with the exception of the credible ones) is not true cause Scott and Josh did not say during the budget proposal that the international boarder will be closed till July(it was just an assumption) all these media people are taking what he said out of context.

Conclusion: I see the boarder open to international students come February 2021.

What was the exact wording..... dependent should not have restrictions so it might be a mistake. There been other post here in the past stating mistake as well, and there is an old post on how to correct it with UKVI
The words were Work restricted, no sportsperson and no public funds.. I believe it's a mistake as well
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 5 by tpain22: 4:28pm On Apr 20, 2021
Hi house, My spouse dependent visa came with work restriction written on it, and also their was no letter in the DHL envelope but others had letters from UKVI to present on arrival.. My agent says this isn't an issue especially the letter.. what do you guys think? That until I pick up my BRP before I can complain

It depends on How Much Naira you want to move, and what that translates to, in ££.
Another question is....to whose account do you want to move it to? Your own UK bank account or a 3rd party?
Thanks for your response, I would want to move it into my own account, will have to open an account once I get over there in few weeks, am not familiar with the UK banking system yet.. Also large amount of funds that might translate into at least £10,000

I will answer the ones I am sure of. None of you needs yellow fever vaccination (yellow card) to come into the UK. Children below 11 years are exempt from covid tests.
Thanks

The student tread would be the best to ask this question since you probably have more people there who done it recently

No you don't need yellow fever card... and I think children don't do the covid test/process. That the little I remember from your question . Also .gov website would have some of these answers

Also use the search button on top... for example you can type : covid test uk , then filter to travel section and you see some recent post of others on the topic
Thanks

This is your choice really. It's all about meeting up with the requirements and money needed. They only interview main applicants esp if application is not straightforward. Any refusal doesn't affect as long as it's declared.
Thanks so much for your response. The funds are available everything else seems right.

Hello House, Am new here. We family of 3 are about to apply for UK student visa next week, our agent said we should apply together I want to know your advice if it's better to apply separately.. Also is there going to be an interview and if yes is it just the primary applicant or all of us that will attend the interview?
Lastly will an Australian refusal be na issue? My agen said it won't.

Got visa refusal 2days ago, the feeling has been crazy, I applied with my family so I knew this going forward that it could end up like this. Australia bad sha make we no lie, even where UK dey beg family to come Australia no wan use eye see Nigerians with family, they practically quoted it.

Greatnessss:
Has anybody done his/her biometrics?
TravelRe: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by tpain22: 10:07am On Oct 15, 2020
You can't compare the UK government or even European nations to Australia Government. Australia and NZ are very similar they would not even risk their country health like the way UK would, The UK government can't even afford to shut down even with almost 17k cases a day. That tells you how much they are willing to risk.
And like you said even states boarders like Queensland are still closed despite not even having any case, if they are closed from their country why would you think they will risk it to Chinese, Indians or even Africans.
They need international students doesn't mean they would open boarders without vaccine. And please don't mistake pilot programs of small amount of student as opening boarders, allowing 300 students into the country can't be the same as allowing thousands of students in, Please be realistic. And pilot programs won't include fresh applicants

Hahaha Doomsday?
If you read my words correctly I said the vaccine should be out by January or February and between then and June the boarders should be open. Also if you have a visa for February intake doesn't mean boarders will be open for you by then, it's not guaranteed. My cousin got his visa for Deakin October 2020 session and I can assure you he's still very much at home in Nigeria.
Am not trying to be negative but just being factual and realistic, am sure as at march many of us believed the boarders would have been open by now but it's not

TravelRe: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by tpain22: 9:00am On Oct 13, 2020
It's time you stop hoping and praying and just read the facts, Australian boarders won't open to students unless there's a vaccine, and I mean real top notch vaccine. The prayer is to hope it comes out early January or February so that by then or at least June, the broader exception will be provided for international students. That is the only way it would open.
Also the US elections is playing politics with the vaccine, so after election hope dey

Jahshanu234:
I really dont think theres hope for entry any time soon.. from google Australia is saying late 2021 to open boarder i don’t know how true is this .. please guys if you have valid information drop on this. Thanks

You guys have been warned before about BCIE, those guys will receive your COE and won't tell you, it happened to me so please contact the school by mail or if you have someone over there to call them directly coz that's what I did and I later realized the school has sent the COE almost immediately after paying school fees. BCIE will intensionally tell Deakin not to copy you in the mail. If I were you I would act fast. ASAP
And contacting them don't act naive sound confident

My dear brother/Sister, I don't think there's any hope of flying to Australia this year. They claimed to be have started processing visas this August but as at now that hasn't happened. Even with the pilot program going down next month for Adelaide, that's just for Hon Kong, Singapore, Japan and China. So all indications point's to next year, I personally was hoping for October November but with the way things are going am not hopeful at all

Is there hope of getting issued visa this year if i apply for visa? Has anyone applied lately?

I just deferred my Msc offer at Deakin till November .
Was called by the international office earlier today.
We both agreed July resumption wasn't feasible considering the covid lockdown issues
So best choice is to defer and pray normalcy returns soon .
I had the same conversation with Deakin Representative as well, I told him I'll wait till end of June before I decide, but from all indications it might be till November, Because after the recent PM announcement it's clear it would take till August before any Visa are granted, that's if they grant

Same here with my agent cheesy

Have you been able to make up your mind doing the term course online because am also on this this table? embarassed embarassedlai lai my dear i am never gonna do annonline course,i just read over the news that newzealand has lifted their travel ban so hoping australia will follow suit.i am thinking i will leave it till next year, what do you think?
New Zealand lifted all restrictions because they are now Covid-19 Free country, they have eliminated all cases of the virus so no more reason for restrictions, but for Australia the case is different they still have active cases within the country, Also the Govt just announced that they won't be reducing any restriction until 2weeks time due to the Black Lives Matter Protest that saw almost 70k people come out to protest

After paying all this millions, you want to do online? you better allow to be deferred.
As long as they would accept International students this July my brother am going o! Even if it means doing some online classes from inside Australia. But if the boarders are staying close this July and then definitely deferring.
