So why dont we reverse this law to get all women to marry at the age of 23? Wouldnt that work. ALl women should marry by 23 and have kids by 25. They are the ones with the biological clock, not the men undecided.
You sound like one of the bachelors being referred to.

CAMEROONPRIDE: can you share those stories? I sincerely hope you will do it so that we can change or at least try to change
If it puts an impressive amount of money in my pocket, of course i'd love to share.

But if it makes absolutely no difference to my consumption of garri, then i dont think i should.

My fellow women are making big bucks and living the high life with whatever it is they're sharing, while i'm wasting my time typing on my keyboard with nothing to show for it.

The op is very right.

It does smack of wickedness to continue to refuse to marry when there are so many wonen looking for husbands.

How long exactly is bachelorhood supposed to last?

If you want to be a rev father then enter the seminary nah?

And if you're scared of the women you see these days then have your mum or a relative find you somebody ke?
Not all beautiful women. Just the odd stunner might do the job now and again wink.
i think men are generally only intimidated by what they cant acquire, ie get.

by the time they find out 99% of beautiful women are very easy to lay, and in fact might even be the ones desperately searching for men, it kind of takes the shine off the chase.

they might be intimidated by other factors besides beauty perhaps, eg background, education, money, etc.

asians achieve higher grades than everybody, not just blacks or whites.

their culture is such that doesnt allow for competition from other races, so they always remain on top.

are men intimidated by women's beauty? huh

given the fact that most of the beautiful women do end up with not so beautiful men, i wouldnt think so.

however, for whatever reason, some might be intimidated, i suppose.

again we have a social situation, but this is different from the wedding in cana because for one, there was no wedding, and secondly, the woman involved is past the stage of having weddings, since she's already had five husbands.

However, Jesus' message remains the same: he asked her to bring him water.

Jesus said to her, “Will you give me a drink?”

Something for everyone

The Samaritan Woman

So he came to a town in Samaria called Sychar, near the plot of ground Jacob had given to his son Joseph.

6 Jacob’s well was there, and Jesus, tired as he was from the journey, sat down by the well. It was about noon.

7 When a Samaritan woman came to draw water, Jesus said to her, “Will you give me a drink?” 8 (His disciples had gone into the town to buy food.)

9 The Samaritan woman said to him, “You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman. How can you ask me for a drink?” (For Jews do not associate with Samaritans.)

10 Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.”

11 “Sir,” the woman said, “you have nothing to draw with and the well is deep. Where can you get this living water? 12 Are you greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well and drank from it himself, as did also his sons and his livestock?”

13 Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again,

14 but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”

15 The woman said to him, “Sir, give me this water so that I won’t get thirsty and have to keep coming here to draw water.”

16 He told her, “Go, call your husband and come back.”

17 “I have no husband,” she replied.

Jesus said to her, “You are right when you say you have no husband. 18 The fact is, you have had five husbands, and the man you now have is not your husband. What you have just said is quite true.”
