That part isnt clear.

This interference is what is causing the high casualties in law enforcement and fueling the lack of respect for authority which is endemic in nigeria.

One report said the police were instructed to hold back in troubled areas in order to avoid conflict with civilians.

Overseas, when you enter police wahala, you don enter be that and if you're lucky, your lawyer can save you.

Biafra4tharmy: the Ladys' handbag is part of the campaign . The bag carry an inscription *made in Biafra* the rally was meant also to showcase Biafra innovative prowess and production of Handbags both male and female as well
But such things are not new, whats so unusual this time?

Even when i was young, there was imported stuff and locally made stuff.

utumunta: As this story unravels, facts are beginning to emerge that they are a political creation, deployed to secure victory for the incumbent governor at the last polls. They are asking him to honour the one-term agreement reached with them and that is what has caused us these men.
I hope this does not become another boko haram.
I wonder why, in that country, every single thing is directly traceable to politics?
Politics › Re: Policemen Of Squadron 38 Killed In Nasarawa Armbush by tpia5: 11:45am On May 16, 2013
talktimi: niger delta militants killed 19 police officers doesn't mean MEND pulled the hit, I've told you before, stop talking about things you know nothing about. Ask politely if you need information and stop exhibiting your daftness.

PS ; I never said anything about killing the Egon or any other peoples, but your blind stvpidity is hiding the fact that you're actually the bigot here. Well, what does one expect from someone who only has b*alls behind the security of a computer screen ?
Killing of police officers is more associated with mend elements, stop lying.

this is why nigeria does not progress. undecided

all this unnecessary aggravo and constant irritability is an effect of outside exposure i'm sure. undecided

Do you even know what 'boko' 'haram' means? huh
Did you not finish school or you're still seeking admission, you seem to have time on your hands.

tintingz: Shouting ''in Jesus name'' like lost sheep should be ban during assembly period...

Imagine from monday to thurday claping and screaming Jesus Jesus Jesus!! It is only on fridays we hear Allah's name

Shouting God like Allah or Eloim or Olorun name is general and better.
I think you are exaggerating anyways.

In any case, returning schools to their respective missions may be the only way forward, and in addition, will raise the constantly falling jamb and waec scores.

As per your last sentence, the song father abraham has many sons, a common song in nigerian schools, is Jesus mentioned there?

I dont know why some of you like to play oversabi as if you're wiser than those who went before you.

^ i'm not following you.

The thread is about soyinka's gods, yet you're differentiating between religion and non-religion.

I assume your specific grouse is with the christian religion, since the original post features totems of a religion.

God bless their hearts, some of us had forefathers who learned under trees and in mud huts, yet they still went on to be great achievers, eschewing all the permanent bad belle and self destructive behaviour so endemic around here these days.

yorubas say ibi ere l'ati nmo ooto oro.

meaning even though you may feel you're typing in jest, or to get people riled up, it doesnt change the fact that you have a deep resentment towards whoever you consider a father figure. Vice versa goes for the women-bashing males.

scholarships for the kids please, up to college level.

militants are being sponsored overseas, assist the aforementioned kids first before you start awarding choice plots of land in abuja to kidnappers and armed robbers.

in addition, if the leaders would fast or drink garri occasionally, the savings on that N1 billion monthly food bill would be quite significant.

all these shrines and all sorts of devilish activities are not the way to go.

Nigeria is a third world country, you are adding to the constant suffering with all this demon worship.

stop comparing yourselves to abroad- they are different from you!

If gej is the best you can produce (as evidenced by his being the candidate you put forward for Aso rock), then help him improve your image!

Monicasque: tooooo much. the dude decided to die when i was 5years old and lv my mother to struggle so i hate him very much for all that i went through in life. if he would have stuck around and see me grow, i would not have soo much anger in me. i even got to an extend where i looked for the father figure in romantic relationships bcoz the bastard who gave birth to me was not around and not there for me growing up so sue me for feeling the way i do. i hate men period and its even worse coz all these bastard seem to just know how to make kids and lv the baby mommas to raise them alone. men will always be dogs to me and nothing can change that
Women who do not hate their fathers, generally do not hate men.

Women who PREFER to hate males, generally have issues with their present or absentee fathers.

Nobody cares who or what these people are.

The fact is all these little, large or medium groups should stop disturbing people with their petty or major grievances which lack beginning, end and coherence.

Any group which isnt happy with nigeria should pack their bags and migrate elsewhere, after all, did your forefathers not migrate to your present location from somewhere?

Ghana, kenya, tanzania, south africa, gambia, cameroon etc are all more developed than nigeria, why not move to those places.

pato station: Yes ooo! I almost got killed by those bastards for snapping them while harrassing okada drivers. My lawyer even told me to thank my stars that it was a public place. Otherwise they would have wasted me instead of protecting me.
I thought okadas were banned?

So, you're saying the police didnt lock you up for snapping them without their permission.

Typically nigerian, everything is left alone, what a pity.
