Politics › Re: Why Is Lagos The Only Developed State In The South-west? by tpia5: 4:53pm On Feb 28, 2013
Lagos isnt the only developed state per se, but the fact is a huge number of swners are more used to the quietness and slower pace outside lagos.

Not everybody is comfortable with city life.

Christianity Etc › Re: Should Catholic Priests Remain Celibate? by tpia5: 4:19pm On Feb 28, 2013
A lot of the priests are actually very handsome, however, i do respect the fact that they took vows which preclude them from having s.ex.

On the other hand, i would really find it hard to condemn priests ( speaking of priests, not married males) who keep a girlfriend on the side, even though its wrong because of their creed, yet sometimes people do yearn for the company of the opposite sex. Some in such situations, might actually prefer to marry the gf but cant do so because of the conflict between their conscience.

Its actually easier for women to be celibate, than it is for men, although things might have changed now since women are matching men in the game.

In addition, some people might even prefer the celibacy clause, because if you're used to living your life single, it might not be easy to adapt to living with another person.

So, very hard to generalize as per topic.

Christianity Etc › Re: Benedict XVI To Be Known As 'Pope Emeritus' by tpia5: 3:27am On Feb 28, 2013
elampiro: Those fellow Christians celebrating the scandal in the Catholic church should watch it. It is the devil that is about to take over the world and persecute Christians all over. The devil has for decades trained and planted his apostles in the Vatican. They have been the ones advocating for ordination of women, married priests, same sex marriage, abortion, etc. They grew in number and confidence over the years, and were sure to soon capture the papacy (position of the Pope). They encouraged their men to cause maximum scandals so that they can one day use it as a weapon to ruin the church and as an excuse to change the teachings. These things have been ongoing, there has been a struggle going on in the Vatican, but Pope John Paul II handled them so firmly during his time- he stamped his authority more over the evil sects and suppressed them.

When these evil people are able to get their man into the papacy, he will align with the evil one world order and force all nations and government into their agenda. All sexual sins will be pronounced not be sins again. Any church or anyone who teaches otherwise will face prosecution for going against the law. That is why they are legalising gayism, abortion, etc. Once the Catholic church is captured, it will be the beginning of the end of Christianity as we know it today. Everyone will have to go with the one world religion led by the false prophet and Antichrist. The false prophet will be the head of the one world religion, he will point to the Antichrist as the king of the world. The Antichrist will also be enthrone as the head of the one world government. What will are witnessing now are events already long prophesied in the Catholic realm. They MUST happen. Whether we will get to see one last good Pope is what I cannot say. But it is obvious the devil is already having his hour.

Just my little contribution based on what I knew already for years now.
you're right, but some of these things are too deep for regular conversation.

How people get herpes around their mouth

A person with HSV-1 (herpes simplex type 1) can pass it to someone else by:

Kissing
Touching the person’s skin, such as pinching a child’s cheek
Sharing objects such as silverware, lip balm, or a razor

the thing with the catholic church is its an institution that knows the lineage and history of practically everybody living on earth today.

that's a fact.

if it doesnt know you personally, rest assured it knows how your forefathers got to be where they are.

hope he has bookmarked all these interviews so he can reread them when he wakes up from his trance (hope the plan includes him recovering from the trance?)

the really annoying thing in such instances is the guy's memory will be so selective about this period of time. He wont recollect half of what brought him to this state?

so aggravating!!!!!!

van bonattel: Its in the amala, makes men very randy.
the amala might increase virility perhaps (no studies support or oppose this), but its not amala which leads to this level of jazz. Usually the jazz is added to the stew unless there's a new technique i havent heard of.

outofthebox: As a yoruba man ,I still tremble at the level of our promiscousity..its trembling..an average igbo man would not do this..our women are even the worst.marry a yoruba woman and give her the best things in life, she would still cheat on you.d reverse is the case for an average igbo woman that is well taken care of..every yoruba tenants in my father's house never fail to disappoint me.they stil bring women to their matrimonail homes while their wives are away..d reverse is d case for the igbo tenants we have..
i dont think promiscuity is exclusively a yoruba thing, its in every tribe i know of but yorubas own gets broadcast more, maybe because of the high level of polygamy/polygamic backgrounds.

be careful with assumptions because you might get unpleasantly surprised.

Pukkah: This man need not go to this garrulous and ridiculous extent to justify his 'voluntary' decision. The way he went about talking and prattling about some issues that he should have spared the public from is discomforting.

He laboured to muster several arguments ranging from the spiritual, religious, traditional, marital, etc to convince the public (or himself?) that he has taken the right decision. In one breath, he has become a traditionalist, pan-Africanist, polygamist, 'alimonist', and liberal child-adopter while remaining a Christian.

He seems to lack the 'calmness' or defiance that abide with 'true African' polygamists and he's clearly struggling with some issues. Something seems to be wrong somewhere.

His account of Foluke appears too garnished and 'artificial' for comfort. For example, how can you be compatible with someone to the rate of 1000%? When two people agree in exactly the same way over everything then you should know that one of them is redundant.
.
you're very wise.

or should i say this particular post of yours is a wise one. Since i'm not familiar with your moniker.
