Politics › Re: Eze Ndi Igbo Parliamentary Office - Constitutional Conference in Progress... by tpia5: 7:19pm On Jun 10, 2012
from the original post:

In furtherance of the objective of strengthening the bonds between brothers, and re-positioning our unique ethnic group in the midst of the chaotic scenes from the larger Nigeria, a cultural rebirth and awareness is imperative.

This Office -Eze Ndi Igbo NL Parliamentary Office - is therefore set-up for Ndi Igbo, her friends, and allies to suggest ways and manners we can advance our political and economic relationship for mutual benefits.

I dont think this thread should have been locked:

https://www.nairaland.com/960348/couple-proceed-wedding-after-losing#11068547

all you had to do was change the title, that's all.

When people are wondering about something, nothing wrong with providing an answer. Sometimes you cant get the full picture unless someone explains.

I'm sure the subject is all over the web.
Christianity Etc › Re: Christianity For Christians. by tpia5: 7:04pm On Jun 10, 2012
instead we should have "Atheism and Philosophies Section".
maybe an atheism section because it would be an insult to philosophy to associate these jokers with it. grin

besides, being a philosopher in no way negates being religious, which 99% of the early philosophers were, anyway.
Christianity Etc › Re: Christianity For Christians. by tpia5: 7:02pm On Jun 10, 2012
Atheists , for people who not believe in a god, you sure are obsessed with religion, this is crazy , honestly
quite literally, it is madness.

but that's their own problem.

link plz.

as it is, people have forgotten already, and the major focus now is on the husbands and wives who were saved from the crash because they were visiting their extra-marital affairs. ( of course no single fellow missed the plane because of too much pun***ni. It has to be the married one since females wey dey find ready made men are more than the ones wey dey find single young men).

typical bush or is it cursed mentality.

all you men have to do is build your name to be reputable in the society
thank you.

its usually the deadbeats who congregate on this sort of topic and carry other people's matter on their head like the jobless goats they are.

empty vessels are known for making the loudest noise.

later they blame the witches in their village for their lack of progress in life.

what part of stick (limit) your addendeum/agenda/eccentricities/misery/longerthroat/low self esteem/insecurities to your girlfriend/s and/or wife/wives is too hard for you to grasp? huh
Family › Cheating On Her Husband Saved Her Life by tpia5(op): 6:46pm On Jun 09, 2012
Read this from somewhere, would av put d source but i cant get to do it.

A husband dropped his wife off at the airport thinking she was goin to lagos as she told him. Unknown to him,his wifey had turned back after he bidded her farewell, she went to her lover's house to spend the night. When the aircrash happened, it was assumed she was on the flight.

But the wife later came home and confessed she had been with her lover and so this saved her life. She gave testimony in church.

As a man wot would u do?

If it were me oo,i will give a testimony o to God for sparing my wifey,i would be so happy so much that i would forget to be angry to fight her for cheating on me. But then after it as all died down,we would talk to ensure such never happens again.

Politics › Re: Eze Ndi Igbo Parliamentary Office - Constitutional Conference in Progress... by tpia5: 6:14pm On Jun 09, 2012
if you're really taking this thing serious, then you need a mission statement and quantifiable goals (I'd have said agenda but that has a negative connotation in the general nigerian context).

quantifiable goals meaning something that is achievable in the long term and which you dont have to risk too much investment in before you get a measurable return (doesnt necessarily have to be material issues per se).

just my two cents.

you may also want to tread carefully should you decide to go official, since there are many stumbling blocks along the way. Dont expect it to be easy.

lastly, it goes without saying- there's absolutely no need to make things tribal and by that I mean meetings or gatherings dont have to turn into a slugfest about whichever tribe you dont like, in the absence of direct aggravation.

I still remember checking out an Igbo site on facebook, and to my greatest surprise, what did I see but someone asking for help with abusing one "yoruba f.ool" somewhere. Of course s/he received lots of eager suggestions!

Meanwhile, to the best of my knowledge, it was an exclusively igbo forum with no yoruba present? Of course maybe the offended person had a right to feel that way, but it still looked somehow. undecided

if you must fight because you feel bored when you dont do so, then why not fight tree cutters or something. Take up a widespread cause like global warming.
just saying o.

Wat a wonderful piece. One of the best posts ve seen on nairaland in a great while. May God bless u OP
true talk.

Not surprising the post was ignored for so long, since people would rather stew in their misery and blame others for their lives, than do constructive things to lift themselves up from their mental enslavement.

it's simply easier to whine.

^ someone suffering from IBS needs to see a doctor and modify his or her diet.

Putting on a happy face is not what is relevant here.

Attend to your health, not be the life of a party or keep hoping others dont smell your gas.

let's stick to topic plz.

This is how you people keep missing it because you just cant focus on a topic but everything you see is always coloured by your insecurities.

go to health section if you need to discuss IBS, and stop making fun of someone who has an illness, jeez. You think you can never fall sick or die suddenly?
