quite an interesting piece sha. |
isnt naijasexy the same person as kandikanne? thought someone mentioned that the other day. and did this poster just imply pdude opens good threads? care to back up this claim with links? if pdude is being touted here then walestar deserves a mention as well. no be the same line of work dem dey? |
i just checked her post history (what i could of it) and noticed the "vent your anger" thread opened by maclatunji. denzel2009 was cursing someone out there and our dear mukina was highly supportive of his very ugly choice of words on the thread. i would have reposted the exact quotes but the the topic was locked. people like this, i consider extremely dangerous because they do their stuff undercover and work by buttressing all that is anti-social and inimical to well being. All while playing to the gallery of senseless goons who worship them as if they are gods. these d.aft goons are usually the iones they pick to fight their fights for them so they (the instigator) can remain above suspicion and protect their lily white image. |
dj187: It started way back when i was in primary school my best friend whose father works with shell comes to school with a school bus mainly for children whose parents works with shell been naive as i was regarding my age then i cried & told my mom dat i would love to join my friend in their school bus dat she should save her self the stress of driving me to school every morning dat was when she explained to me dat i cant join d bus wit my best friend cos the bus is only meant for those whose parents are engineers and works wit shell, from dat day i vowed that i would like to b an engineer wen i grow up so that i can work wit shell so that my children can join the shell welfare bus also, now years has gone by wit dat challenge in mind i studied engineering, mechanical to b precise applied severally to shell, wrote SITP twice with no success & finally ended up wit Total at the obite gas project River state.eyah. luckily, when i was growing up, all my friends attended the same schools as i did. it was a neighborhood thing. the bolded is so touching |
PortHarcourtBoy: I am currently studying Zoology in Uniport because I want to be the next President of Nigeriagood luck with that. no pun intended. |
actually, I dont know too many motivational speakers- nigerian or otherwise. |
awon popular jingo. |
What a condescending and disdainful Thread!i tell you- mukina is going to get herself so twisted it will take a miracle to straighten her out. . . . . . is seun seeing someone else on nl or why has she (mukina) gone bananas? check her other threads of recent- "why God is punishing you", blah blah blah. Let's see what next they'll tell her to post here. not like i ever liked her before anyway (and the feeling is mutual from her as well), but she at least had the sense to not attempt giving herself hypertension unnecessarily and btw, i thought she has a fan following of mindless goons? she will soon attack them while they're honking in support of her. the womanoid be like witch. Jesus take the reins. |
I am yet to see ogugua pick a SERIOUS argument with non-Igbos on this forum over any issue.only truth i think you should leave aside the cultural misunderstandings and focus on the main reason for creating the thread. i think by now you and others should know most threads dealing with serious matters get derailed, and therefore, yall need to be prepared to bring such threads back on track and ignore side comments or offtopics. obviously the problem here, as usual, is the cultural and generational gap between people born and raised abroad and people from home. set aside all these hindrances to communication and try to find a way to utilize ogugua's contributions instead of blaming her for not seeing things your way. just a thought. in other words, what i mean is give her a portfolio and try to come up with ways she can be of assistance to the office. |
**thinking** |
since I'm religious, I'll say first and foremost, it's the favour of God which makes someone rich. riches arent necessarily material things alone but can be a myriad of other factors. |
interesting thread. |
synopsis please? ![]() let's get into the habit of posting these whenever we mention a film. even two lines can suffice. |
the federal govt invested money in the industry? |
@ poster so you dont come and start disturbing people later with stories about how men keep using and dumping you, and how you cant get a thye're telling you for your own good, that's all. they've heard too many stories from women about how they keep meeting the wrong men yet these same women refuse to use their brain to understand why the "wrong kind of men" are the ones who are attracted to them. solid men prefer women who have some sense in their heads and whose dressing reflects that- a man who is salivating over your public n.udity, isnt one who will value you. just my two cents o, not set in stone anywhere. its your body- of course you can expose as much of it as you like as long as you're not in boko haram territory. |
mukina's been opening a lot of rubbishy threads lately. seun, is there a problem? |
synopsis? lol. |
yamakuza: in that case, we can hardly produce a Miss Worldmaybe not. the fact that the beautiful ones are not yet born (in Nigeria), or that the ones already born dont contest, doesnt help matters.true. however, when necessary, people usually come up with someone. It just depends on what or where the priority is. |
yamakuza: Did she really deserve to win? The whole thing seemed "political"/staged.most times it's political. |
anything from elsewhere in africa? ![]() |
she's demonstrating her "spiritual connections". just thank your govt for looking out for you by helping in the marriage department, that's all. yet you feel they dont like you!! |
^ true talk. |
Let be realistic cos YOU DON'T think it will work? WTF?
did you see the words "I think" or "imo" anywhere in my post?or you have no answer and simply prefer to play ostrich? ![]() nothing wrong with admitting that! |
rubbish. you saw mukina today and so nobody must rest here again? ![]() seriously, where do they acquire you people from- una too dense and bush. na wa for nigeria or is it africa. has her photo not been on nl for years now? |
Point B I'm not igbo, but simply giving my opinion here. if you're really trying to make this office work (as opposed to joking around), then I suggest you look at these things from a fresh angle. to the best of my knowledge, this is the first position of its kind so far on nl, and it would be nice if you could have something in place that shows you mean what you said in the original post. 2012 is almost gone and if there's going to be another election soon, then too much time has been wasted already. Some of it has been spent fighting. |
cyrexx: very soon you will open your mouth and say that atheists are disrespecting your religion, what are doing now. you call them fools and all sorts of names and when they do exactly the same you say the are arrogant and rude.point out any thread where i accused any of them of disrespecting my religion. what i feel for them is pity, dumbo. kindly stop projecting on me- its annoying. and while you're at it, show me anywhere I intentionally went out of my way to aggravate them for no reason, or simply because i dislike their pov. think before you type and if you're confusing me with someone else, just say so. |
omg, i find bush mentality ( as evidenced by this thread) so irritating. must everything be good or bad? black or white? you people are so aggravating, annoying, just name it!!! in your ignorance! gosh, what a bunch of illiterates. smh. |
It is not that difficult. I am a foreigner and married to an Igbo man. So I know what I am talking about and it is not difficult as people make it out to be. Only different between my husband and I is our nationalities. As Omega said...it is about having that open mind and meeting someone that you are compatible with. If you want to do all those things you have mentioned then get with a woman that can relate not just personally but mentally. If she is mentally able to comprehend why you must do those things...then I do not see any issues with you passing down your culture to your children. Again...it is about being with a woman that you are compatible with and can grow together with just being who you are. You should also accept the fact that she may want to share some of her culture with your children as well. Your children will have the best of both worlds.
no pressure, huh?in what way are your children having the best of both worlds? by not having an ethnic support base? let's be realistic here. |
onlytruth and FACE I totally understand your stand on this thread, but at the same time i have to point out your approach to ogugua could be better. I'm not particularly close to her and I'm just as surprised by her approval of my post as anyone else (just so you dont think that's why I'm typing this), but i think you were a little too over the top in the way you responded to her presence here. I'm aware in the general cultural setting, only "verified" and "vetted" members are allowed to participate in meetings such as the one you called for with this thread, which is to say anyone considered an "outsider" or who isnt approved of by the members of the particualr group, isnt expected to make any contribution when matters affecting the home area are being discussed. However, the analogous "home area' in this instance in nairaland, a web based forum inculcating members from different walks of life and different regions. The hallmark of an effective leader is the ability to work with different and varying levels within his constituency. Some will even appoint people from the opposing faction, to work with them. I can only summarize my points right now, so what I'm trying to say is, what would be expedient to do is not cut ogugua off because she has a viewpoint you dont approve of, but rather you should try to inculcate areas which you see as her strengths into your proposal (or cabinet for want of a better word), in a way that can be of benefit to what you stated in the opening post of this thread. You can put her in charge of something- (media, networking, etc, whatever), instead of blocking her completely out and not listening to her opinion. She may be young but that doesnt mean she cant have something to say even if you disagree with it. |
