The above is why Nairaland is one of the most reliable source of information in Nigeria today.
eh, dont push it. ![]() so because the guy claimed he works at the airport and basically repeated an "explanation" which is already all over the web, that means its set in stone?
The fact that anyone can claim to be anywhere
fixed. |
the news seems to be fake. there's been quite a lot of fake news circulating lately. eg the N7.4 billion mountain levelling in delta, helen akpabio news, now this. the report is exactly identical to the reuters report from two years ago as noted by someone earlier. obviously something is going on, and I suspect these are all test runs building up to something else. |
imagine, after repeated corrections and warnings, he still showed up on the thread with this: Ptolomeus: I totally agree with you.if that thread gets moved one more time to a different section, potolomeus you wont say I didnt warn you. |
can someone explain to potolemues this thread https://www.nairaland.com/931454/sex-christian-rated-g-not is not about him, nor is it about his personal issues with whoever. he has derailed this topic no less than three times, and its really tasking trying to call him to order since he's of very low intelligence and doesnt understand simple english. does anyone here speak his village or is it his national lingo (since his origins are a mystery which one might be better off not knowing because if nigeria is producing this kind of IQ then na wahala be that)- kindly explain to him that the thread is meant for serious minds only. if he has juicy gists which his enemy/enemies told him to display on nl, that is not the thread to do it on. |
more malls are needed in other parts of the country as well. If God wills. |
cshall1120: This is a totally different issue. Not just I have come in contact with other Africans and have been look down upon but others that I know as well. And this has nothing to do with relationship or dating. Just the perception we have toward one another.ok, sorry you were looked down on. can the matter rest now? you dont hear me complaining for being called names by various quarters, races, ethnicities and nationalities, looked down on by anyone who thinks they are better/worse off, and all sorts of experiences I've passed through in the name of living somewhere. but do I carry a grudge against the misguided or is it arrogant people I meet everyday? No i dont, or rather I try not to, because sometimes its just not worth my while. so, sorry you have the impression africans dont like you or whatever it is you're saying. or what exactly do you want africans to do for you? If its husband you're looking for, (assuming you're actually AA and not just a non-AA african trying to stir up trouble), then that shouldnt be a problem. Just make your intentions known and you'll get somebody. Your ethnicity is your asset for you to use. |
^^i'm not referring to why you chose the man. I'm talking about why the man chose you. if someone says you "were being punished for your sins", yet you have no knowledge of any "sin" you committed against him/them, then it's either he/they are a basket case, or something else is what he/they are referring to. just guessing here, could be wrong. |
what is all this for goodness sake? ![]() |
is this an invitation to the men to start bashing nigerian women again? threads like these make me tired of the internet. for goodness sake, in developed countries, women drive. any man or woman who doesnt want to drive even if they have the means or necessity to do so, should hire a chaffeur or have somebody take them everyhwere they want to go. alternatively, public transport/taxis are also available. repeat thread. the last one turned into a bitter slugfest with men lashing nigerian women as if they dont have mothers. why are you women always so bitterly against your fellow women? Blood no dey una veins? |
manny4life: I could begin to give you detail by detail for the reasons of your concerns, but then I will derail the thread...if its possible to summarize, then go ahead. Btw, who told you that shrink occurs at the store level? LOL... No matter how much you tag, or laser tag or whatever, shrink will ALWAYS occuryou know they wont see it that way. . . . . In the budgeting and financial aspect, its coded as "shrink reserve", because it's bound to ALWAYS occur, definitely, but they still have to do the runaround and make believe it can be stopped. Anyway, lord knows what those security personnel say they're seeing on their screens. . . . .na them sabi sha. . . . . . . besides, EAS tagging is very expensive that is why Walmart is using a new technology - RFID initiative.what's that? cant look it up at the moment because i'm logging off the computer. |
una no dey tire!!! anyway, i dont blame you but rather we who hang around, thus enabling people to keep posting recycled topics. |

juju look full the place this year. eni ba ko sowo eleyi, a ma farada na ni. anyway, like attracts like sha. lord have mercy. |
why not compare nigeria with every other country in the world, since you have nothing else to do with your time, @ poster. una inferiority complex is just too much. wish you could change your ethnicity to mexico. ![]() |
Me o, I don't know about them being phased out, but I can imagine they have so much headache, although some people are reluctant to follow simple instructions. when I go into CVS to purchase something, and the scale is off, the machine keeps saying "please place your item in the bag", some stubborn customers just want to argue with the damn machine making it waste my time.it takes a while to get the hang of it, not to mention some machines work more smoothly than others, but in general, if someone attempts to remove a bag from the holding area or scale before paying for the items, the machine will shout that error message. It calculates by weight or something, so the scanned items have to match the total projected weight it has in its system. I've only seen self checkout machines in the downtown DC CVSes, and they worked great. But CVS has always had shrinkage problems regardless. I think stores with big shrinkage issues should consider tagging all items they sell, and see if that will make a difference. Not sure if it can be stopped in any case. i may go back to using regular staff anyway- dont like all this wahala and to do. And besides, not all stores have self checkout so its not like they're used everywhere. |
